Description

History

Established in 2009.

started my tile career at the International Masonry Institute where I learned the tile trade from some of the best tile professionals from all over the United States. After completing my training I received another 5 years of training as an apprentice in the Tile Setters Union. After I completed my training and received my journeyman’s card I was eventually promoted to a management position with one of the areas largest flooring companies. I went back to school for marketing and after that i received my six sigma in lean manufacturing. As I learned I immediately saw areas for improvement within the company. I decided to start my own company Hakes Custom Tile. I have based this company on finding the best A players and after an enormous amount of work I have a team that can achieve amazing results. We have incorporated six sigma processes similar to the way large factories operate within our small business. This has minimized our overhead costs, eliminated unnecessary material handling
