Wings Etc.

My three children and I went in to eat. We were promptly greeted by a very sweet lady and sat right away. Our server, Danielle, was very attentive and helpful. I loved that she interacted with my children. I would highly recommend asking for her if you go in. (I am a server myself, so my standards are held pretty high, if your a server as well you understand my harsh criticism). The manager, Derek, stopped by the table and was constantly seen on the floor. He was very nice and made sure everything came out correctly. The food was hot and made perfectly, as always when I go in. I, too am confused as to why there are so many negative reviews.

Waited at the door for 10 minutes waiting for a hostess to seat us. 3 tables and 2 people at the bar. No employees to be found. Avoid this place.

We keep trying this place, hoping the service has improved. We’ve been here on Friday nights, Saturday afternoons, week nights, Sunday after church. It doesn’t matter if the place is packed or scarce. It takes forever! When will we learn? If you are coming to eat a meal, be prepared for an ungodly wait… for okay wings. We’ve tried the burgers & they are frozen patties. The nachos consisted of straight out of the bag, low quality tortilla chips and unimpressive toppings. It’s been 32 minutes… and we are still waiting…

3 stars and not sure why? I’ve always had great service fresh hot food for a decent price. Monday’s 50 cent traditional or boneless wings. Thursday 50 cent boneless. I’ll always come here. I’m the duke. Love it.

This used to be one of my favorite chicken wing locations in Fort Wayne but that has now changed. I’m not sure what the deal is but their waitstaff and other workers in the restaurant are extremely, and I mean extremely slow. If you want to eat in a timely manner avoid this place at all costs because you cannot get in and eat at a normal pace. The store also seems to be either understaffed or just filled with employees who must not know what they’re doing, so I will say this might be a management issue. There is also a pretty good chance when you finally get your food it will either be cold or close enough to cooling off you won’t have it long before it reaches room temperature. They even include in the menu if the food is too cold for your liking they will whip up a new batch but it’s a never ending cycle when it takes forever for the food to get to the table.
If you would rather avoid this mess and just get carry out well jokes on you, the carry out pick up is done through the bar and just like the waitstaff the bartender isn’t attentive and takes their sweet time getting around to you, which should be no big deal since they are a bartender and not there for you but if that’s where they have you pick up carry out orders then you should get the same attention as the single person wanting their fourth beer. The food seems to be better at being hot when you get it and take it home but to make sure you don’t leave with a satisfied experience they will often forget an item you order or just do one plain wrong.
This location (maysville) has been the only Wings etc. location I have been to where this is an issue so if you are a fan of their chicken wings do yourself the favor and take your Wings etc business to a different location where the managers and waitstaff seem to care more. I am not even being reactionary, this has been a long going issue and I have given them chance after chance both in the restaurant and with carry out but when they forgot yet another item on the order it was simply the final straw. The food when you can get it hot or at a different location is top 5 best when it comes to chicken wings in Fort Wayne but the waitstaff’s mistakes and tremendously poor service weigh the whole experience down to a 2 out of 5 and that’s on a good day.

First time i have walked out of a restaurant in years! First they did not really want to seat us, then after 10 minutes of not being waited on we left! Keep in mind we were staring at three servers who were not working and serving tables that were sat after us. This was my second time trying to eat here after my first horrible service experience. It sucks because i like their wings.

We waited an hour for our food! With no competition from Buffalo Wild Wings during their remodel you’d think this place would have it together. It’s a shame because their food is actually good here. Unfortunately, we keep giving it another chance because we’ve never eaten here without some sort of glitch. They’re missing a great opportunity to win some new customers, but not with a kitchen this slow. Get it together!!!

We originally went to the Wings on Dupont Rd. We ordered the regular and boneless wings. We were very disappointed when they came with the sauce just «poured over» them. We went to the Maysville Rd. location and we explained why we didn’t like the wings at the Dupont location, and she told us to order them «Daytona» style. We used to order this at another wings place — but they stopped doing it. WOW. I loved the wings this visit. I will always order them Daytona style. But I loved a lot of different things on their menu as well. The Philly sandwich is really good — lots of beef and the bread was good. The shrimp — I know, why would you order shrimp here — was awesome. Also — the pretzel bite appetizer and mozzarella stick appetizers were good as well. The flatbread pizza was just ok — I would have liked a little more cheese. The burgers are large and have good flavor. There are more than just wings to eat here!

Ok so I’m all about the wings when I go to a wing spot but it’s fusturating when they don’t cover the wing with the sauce… thts so wrong! I was told by the manager u have to ask for them to spin the wings n i thiught he must be crazy. .u should know to do tht n a wing spot… r u kidding me!
Also they had a basket of loaded fries tht were so terrible they used nacho cheese n not shredded cheese it was the worse! Never again!

Gross. Please avoid this place. I gave it 2 chances. Food is not good, especially when Buffalo Wild Wings is in same plaza

My office ordered from this location and used Waiter on the Way. The orders were not done correctly (missing cheese, etc.) and the chicken and hamburgers were undercooked. When I called to complain, I spoke with the manager. The manager blamed everything on Waiter on the Way. Totally unacceptable. They took no responsibility for their cooking and were unapologetic. Never again will we order from them.

We were one of the only tables in the restaurant on a Sunday morning. We got seated quickly, but the service wasn’t amazing– drinks were constantly low with no waitress in sight.
Food was very good, though, and decently priced.

These wings are awful. I have eaten wings pretty much everywhere in Fort Wayne that serve wings, and these were not good at all. I am not sure what any of the other reviewers are talking about??? Between 2 people, we must’ve ordered 4 different flavors, none of which I liked. And I like everything. Very mediocre.

We’ve been here several times now. I love finding a place that is baby-​friendly. Great place for a baby who loves to people watch:) Staff has always been very accomodating and friendly.
I’ve liked pretty much all the wings I’ve had here. Plenty of flavors to chose from, hot to mild, depending on your mood. The lunch specials are a good price.
The broccolli bites and cheddar bites are both great. I’m sure their other appetizers are good too.
This is def my go-​to Wings place.

Best boneless wings in town, hands down! They have great and inexpensive lunch specials and also have specials on Mondays and Thursdays. I take full advantage of the ½ price appetizers after 9pm. The service is better than most as well!

It’s a good place for wings and other bar fare. Kid friendly. Lots of food options. The family always enjoys meals here.

Good wings… price is right.
