We get sushi and food from here quite often. Honestly, we go here mostly because of convenience with it being right down the street from us. However, the sushi rolls we have tried(California, Dragon, & Volcano) have not let us down at all! The man that is usually at the register knows me well! I just can’t wait until he has the staff and budget to do delivery =)!!!

Great little place in a shopping center in East FTW. Convenient location, stays open till 9:30 during the week and 10p on Saturdays and opens at noon on Sunday. Hubby and I stopped by for a to-go order so we could rush home and keep binge-watching Netflix! He started with a small mis soup, which didn’t look small at all when we got it home! Great value for $ 2. He then ordered two orders of the sushi salmon, which is just the little mound of rice with the fish on top. Again, a deal at $ 5 for two pieces. For his entrée, he ordered the Cream Pecan Prawn, which is fried shrimp with some creamy sauce, topped with honey roasted pecans. Came with a big side of fried rice for only $ 10. I had a hankering for vet lol-mean, so I ordered the kids portion for $ 4. It was a small styrofoam container, stuffed to the gills, so that’s a big score too! I also ordered the kids size orange chicken, for $ 5.50, and it was the same sized box, also packed full. All in all, super fresh made when you order it Chinese food, right in our neighborhood. The gents are all polite, the dinning area is clean, modern and well lit. Give this place a try! You won’t be sorry!

In Far East Fort Worth, there are a few spots that are really decent to go grab a bite, but there are even more spots that you should avoid. I’m glad that Asian Gourmet opened up because it gives me a new option on my short list of places to go! The restaurant is located in a strip mall… it’s very easy to miss. When I went in the first time, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The gentleman behind the counter went above and beyond to recommend options and to alter certain dishes to make them vegan. The food itself is real good. The few times that I’ve been there, I’ve tried the veggie fried rice(no egg). The last time that I went, I asked if they could throw some tofu in. It wasn’t on the menu at all, but it wasn’t a problem for them. They put it together in about 10 minutes, packed it up, and I took it back to work. Good stuff! The dining area is a pretty decent size. Each time that I went in there were plenty of seating options available. 2 large monitors are mounted on the wall on both sides in case you want to get your cable news fix while you eat. There’s nothing fancy about this place, you just get what you expect, good food! The menu has a lot of sushi on it, but since I don’t eat it anymore, I can’t tell you how it is. Just letting you know that it’s there if you want it! I highly recommend this spot! Asian Gourmet has brought me another lunch option when I’m working in that part of town!

It tasted like they started with better quality meat than most Asian take out or buffet restaurants, but it tasted like they had never ever heard the word«spices». I had the combo Mongolian beef and General Tao’s chicken. The price and portions were good, but it was almost tasteless. General Tao’s chicken should taste both sweet and spicy, this tasted like chicken dipped in orange juice. It was neither sweet nor spicy, just overwhelmingly orange like. And the Mongolian beef tasted like the cook didn’t even know what salt was, much less the combination of spices you might expect at a better place. They used good quality low fat meat, and had fair prices, but overall it had almost no flavor. I also had the crab Rangoon as a starter, the middle was actually very good, but the breading around it was borderline burnt, and very unpleasant.

My husband is at the DMV waiting for their system to come back up so he decided to pick up lunch. Of course I had to go to Unilocal first to see what people were saying about the place. We got the combination lo mein without chicken and the combination fried rice. The lo mein is very delicious and the meat is seasoned and very tender. The fried rice is also very good. I didn’t have to add soy sauce to the rice. The eggrolls are good. I would definitely come back again if we are in the area. I understand they recently opened and it looks like they are having much success.

Not fancy looking at all but is very impressive and very clean. I loved the service! They were kind enough to let my kids eat their Happy Meals in the restaurant.(They don’t eat sushi or sashimi). Not very respectful on my part, but they understood and I appreciate them for it.

What a wonderful addition to the east side of Ft. Worth. I have a new favorite Chinese restaurant. They have an incredible selection of lunch specials that are VERY reasonably priced and the serving portions are HUGE. My sweet and sour shrimp was wonderful and prepared perfectly. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and an oasis of peace while you’re dining there. YUMMY!

YEAH! For a local sit down in E Fort Worth. Very nice people. Even though it is in a strip shopping area they provide a good product. This location has had it’s challenges from owners that have tried several types of food. Asian appears to be a go. We tasted a variety of their foods and enjoyed them all.

I was so excited when this place opened! I haven’t been disappointed. I get take out from here probably 3 times a week. They seem to do a pretty busy take out business. There’s always at least 1 other person picking up at the same time. Prices are really good, especially for starters(which I tend to get for dinner). Great variety of choices from Thai to Chinese to Japanese. The sweet dishes are a bit sweet for me, but everything else has been spot on. Hot and Sour Soup(my chinese restaurant barometer) is awesome and the seaweed salad is always fresh and crunchy. The sushi is always fresh and delicious(an awesome treat to have so close to home!). FYI that I just saw a sign on the door that they’re going to start opening at noon on Sundays, too, for the folks that have wished for a Sunday lunch. Definitely recommend these folks!

I am so happy we got a new Asian Fusion, Japanese, Chinese restaurant in far East Fort Worth. Located on Eastchase Pkwy. We needed a good Chinese restaurant to eat at for more than 9 years since the other one closed down. And we have one now. I have been to Asian Gourmet twice now and both times I have had a good experience. The service has been very good nice and friendly. The restaurant is clean with 2 large television to watch if you want. Nice size seating area you sit down and order from a menu with table service very casual atmosphere. The food has been very good I have had the Sesame Chicken, and the General Tso chicken. Both very good but I like the General Tso chicken better the Sesame was a little sweet for me. But still the dish was good. I get the fried rice with my dish and the egg drop soup. The soup is very good. The portion size of the meal is very generous you get your money worth and you will be full. I had the egg roll once and it was standard but tasted good. The menu has plenty of other item to choose from. I am going to try the sushi next time I go. They do have a lunch specials everyday which is a dollar or more off each dish. But the price at dinner time is very fair. They open up late on Sunday so you cannot do lunch on Sunday. But the rest of the time you can do lunch or dinner.

LETMETELLYOU. I have never been more impressed and pleased at any food service than this place here. My boyfriend and I went at the last minute for the first time.(I know how it feels coming at the last minute at any business. I deal with it at a daily basis as an employee and I felt guilty for doing it.) Anyway, the gentleman over the counter was very courteous and did not mind at all that we were taking out very late. You know when you come in late before closing at the restaurant that you are going to get cold food that has been sitting out all day before being thrown out… well in this case NOT! :) They actually freshly cooked our food(we both ordered orange chicken) and it was truly delicious! I noticed how well they packaged the food and everything overall was enjoyable. Besides the deliciousness of the food, I am truly amazed at the service given. Like, where else can you get food made with love at the last minute??? This is now my favorite chinese restaurant in the area, and I know they are quite new in the area but I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

Decided to try this place for 1st time. Walked in a few minutes before opening and the gentleman graciously took my to go order. Place was amazingly clean. I took a to go menu and looked the selections and was amazed at the variety. sushi, pad Thai, all kinds of soups and many other signature dishes. Then I saw the fried donuts and asked to have added to my order, no problem. I was in and out in less than 10 – 15 minutes. Sesame chicken was on point and the fried donuts were delicious. Big portions for a lunch special. I will be back soon to try other offerings. Very excited to have something different than fast food on Eastchase
