Established in 2012.

Barnett Howard & Williams PLLC brought together seasoned litigators from the United States Marine Corps, the Lubbock County District Attorney’s office, and the Plano City Attorney’s office. Our partners left their large organizations so that they could practice criminal law on a more personal level and serve the citizens of the Dallas-​Fort Worth Metroplex. We are now named among the Texas Super Lawyers, Top Attorneys in Fort Worth, Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and Top 40 Under 40.

Mr. Barnett is a founding partner in the law firm of Barnett, Howard and Williams PLLC. Prior to starting the law firm, he served for six years as an active-​duty U.S. Marine judge advocate. As a Marine, he served as a criminal trial lawyer, handling a broad range of cases involving assault, drug offenses, fraud, larceny, possession of child pornography, sexual assault, rape, and more. Mr. Barnett is now exclusively focused on representing individuals on criminal cases in Fort Worth and Tarrant County, Texas.

Mr. Barnett holds a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Litigation from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC and is recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer, Fort Worth Top Attorney, Top 100 Trial Lawyers and Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association.
