Bluebonnet Dental Care

Dr. Najafi has been my dentist for a couple of years and I’ve been satisfied with their services. The staff is very friendly and they usually have me in and out of the office in a timely manner.
I’m one of those rare people that like going to the dentist and getting my teeth cleaned every six months. And really I return to Bluebonnet because of the Hygienist — let’s face it, at the end of the day, you will see more of your Hygienist than you do the dentist. In fact, my last two visits I haven’t even seen Dr. Najafi, hm.
Anyway this is what I like about my Hygienist, Terry: she is not afraid to hand-​scrape my teeth. She starts out with the little cleaning apparatus but then she moves on to hand scraping. I love it! I grew up having my teeth cleaned by hand then I move to Texas and everyone uses that damn drill thingy that I just don’t like. I think there is loss of human sensory when using that machine and there is no substitute for a hygienist that can really get a feel for what needs to come off your teeth. So kudos to Terry for not being afraid of a little manual cleaning.
Dr. Najafi has put a crown on one of my molars and that procedure was very efficient and painless. I was disappointed however in the quality of the crown material — it looks very plastic-​y; not like the other crown that I have that was put in many years ago and looks just like my other teeth.
In summary, I’ve enjoyed going to Dr. Najafi’s office and they’ve always taken good care of me.
