I had a broken tooth and he repaired it. He was red-faced, sweating and running around from room to room. Using insurance I paid the same as I paid at a different dentist when I did not have insurance. My husband made an appointment for a cleaning. They took X-rays and then told him they were too behind to do the cleaning but charged us the regular copay anyway. We were very frustrated because he had taken off work. I called to express my feelings and the office manager was incredibly unprofessional. We were then told the soonest appointment they would have would be in 4 months. Behaving like a spiteful child. Incredible. And since they already billed the insurance for a visit and X-rays he cannot go elsewhere for a full office visit plus cleaning unless we want to pay out of pocket. They are basically holding us hostage for 4 months. The hygienists seem to be good at their jobs, but they’re the only ones in the building who are worth the price of their scrubs.

DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE! These people are crooks and they are only after your money and the insurance money. They do not care about your health or well-being. Several times our appointments have been rescheduled or we have been made to sit in the waiting room for excessive periods of time(hours) waiting for our cleanings and checkups which had been scheduled more than 6 months in advance. About a 1.5 years ago, I had to have an old crown(done by a different and better dentist) re-set. At the time I felt that they did not reset it properly but they insisted that it was good and that the bruising/soreness at the gumline of that tooth was«normal». Fast forward to May 2011 and the crown broke off completely, with the rest of my tooth inside it! At that point there was not enough of my tooth left to save(I did check with an endodontist on this part) and my only option was an implant, which is not covered by insurance and is very expensive. This was what I was told by their own Dr. Michael Davis who was flippant and cocky and I did not like his«doctorly manner». The extraction and implant was going to cost me $ 4000. Since I could not afford to do it all at once, I opted to come back to have just the extraction done(I didnt want to keep a decaying tooth in my mouth) which was only supposed to cost me $ 45 after insurance. Before the extraction appointment I was told to start taking a particular preventative antibiotic that I have since learned is VERYDANGEROUS! When I got to my appointment they informed me that my total bill was going to be $ 300 instead of $ 45 because it included a required bone graft, and they don’t do any extractions without also doing a bone graft. I was not prepared for $ 300 extra dollars so Icancelled my appointment on the spot, walked out, and I WILLNOT go back. Everything they do is full of hidden charges. They tell you they disclose them but their communication methods are purposely vague and their business is shady. I am convinced that they botched my crown with the intention of forcing me to come back for them to do more expensive procedures. I have since learned that a bone graft is NOT required for every extraction… I firmly believe that Brown’s office added that to my list of expenses just for more money. The doctors do not care about anything other than making money and they run people through there like cattle. The only good thing about them is one of the hygienists who’s name I sadly cant remember. I will miss her.

As far as Dr. Brown himself and the hygienists that work there go, I’m totally satisfied with my experience there. They are very nice people. However, the way the desk people run things(which I would assume is dictated by Dr. Brown) is nuts. As you leave, you would think you could make your next appointment for your biannual teeth cleaning. No, that would be too easy. They will give you a card that tells you the day that you may call(3 months from now) to make your appointment(6 months from now). Now maybe I am strange, but I find it difficult to remember to make a call three months from now. So what usually happens is I forget to call at my designated time and then I can’t get in when it really is time. What a stupid system. Also, they make you wait when you get there(normal anywhere you go) but then, they make you WAITTOPAYBEFOREYOUCANLEAVE??? Yes. You’re done, but you must go back and sit in the waiting area AGAIN and they call your name when they’re ready to take your money. That’s just stupid. Also, their hours are ridiculous. If you’re a new patient, the latest they’ll see you is 2pm. Wow. They close at 4:00! Must be nice!!! Oh, and that’s just M-Th. They close at NOON on Fridays. So I HAVE to take off from work to go to the dentist. I am a teacher so I have to get someone to cover half my day or I usually just end up having to call in a whole day. It really sucks. You can’t go in early– they open at 8:00. Soooo inconsiderate of patients to keep these hours. People have nothing good to say on the google reviews either. I wish I could switch but stupid insurance… you know the deal.
