Excellent pizza, delicious sandwich, awesome dessert. The service was quick and friendly. A bit pricey but well worth it we will definitely be coming back soon.

Honey bitch was great! Also, fried artichokes were to die for. Cool setting, cool people. What else could you ask for?

Try the Honey Bastard and thank me later. Great service. Nice wine and beer selection. A little pricey for a pizza place, but well worth it for the quality.

Always great, we’ve tried everything on the menu. Love the patio too. Many times we have it all to ourselves! Keep it up Cane Rosso!

Great food, terrible service. I’m hoping the service was a fluke, because the fried artichoke app and the pizza were both to die for. We went on a day that it was drizzling and sat outside. Our waitress was already inattentive enough, but the kicker was when she suggested we go inside and then proceeded to walk away and let us carry all of our plates/drinks in by ourselves and to find our own table inside, resulting in us needing to make multiple trips. She then failed to check on us inside again before bringing our check. I’ll definitely go back, and will upgrade my rating if the service isn’t so shoddy.

Best pizza ever! But don’t get it to go — the super thin crust gets too soggy. Salads are family style we three friends shared a small.

Have been there 4 times out hope that I would like it more. The ingredients are great, and they make a very good meatball, but I just can’t get over the crust. The service seems very proud to work for Cane Rosso, but seem pretty short on knowledge about the food and drink offerings. So if you like soggy pizza and average service, this is the place you!

Easily the best pizza experience I’ve ever had! Service is relaxed and extremely fast. All of the food is amazing from the cocktails, to the dessert. The dessert pizza, The Ladybird, literally made me slam my fork on the table and make an audible passionate yearning moan. Please eat there, you will not be disappointed!!!

Popped in on a relatively busy Saturday evening. The wait was 30 – 40 minutes for two and we were starving for pizza. The hostess punched in my cell number and advised I would receive a text when our table was ready, cool. We headed over to the bar and ordered a few drinks. The 900 degree, wood-fired oven was a cool sight to see– the dough and mozzarella is made in-house. It was fun to soak in the sights and smells while I sipped on a Revolver Blood & Honey and my wife enjoyed a glass of sav blanc. Cane Rossa offers a full bar with a nice list of mixed drinks to try– they had a spin on the classic Moscow Mule that looked pretty tasty. About 30 minutes later our table was ready. We were escorted to the rear of the space, where the quarters were a little cramped. We were shown to a two-seat table, sandwiched between a larger group next to us– you could barely stretch your elbows out without getting personal with a neighbor. But it’s cool, kind of the community vibe, I get it. Ok so one thing that keeps this from a 5-star review. Our server, while extremely friendly, missed the order on a few points. We ordered an Emma with half olive and the pie was served with all olives– so I had to pick many of them off my half(which meant some of the coveted cheese went with it)… not a huge deal. Then we ordered a 2nd round of drinks, and 10+ minutes later we had to remind the server that we were waiting. His response made me feel like he totally forgot our order, bummer. We ordered desert(the donuts) but were served the deep-fried dough-balls instead, another bummer. But the food. Oh yes, the food. The pizza was heavenly. Crust was just crispy enough towards the crust-end and the front was floppy, full of flavor. The sauce was awesome, perfectly seasoned. I wished I had ordered two pizzas and skipped the salad. Salads were good, and huge(we got the Mista and Ceasar). Next time we visit I’m sticking with the pizza only, it was so great. The weekends showcase a meatball lasagna, which appeared to be pretty popular– I saw it ushered out of the kitchen area on quite a few occasions during our visit. With the pizza, two salads, two drinks, and desert the total came to $ 55– a good deal. Can’t wait to come back and try another pie!

Came in on a rainy day the hostest was so kind to get me extra napkins to dry off with. Our waitress… Meh. She wasn’t the friendliest lady. When I ask what kind of gin she had she didn’t know… And didn’t offer to go check. Cool. Thanks. Our arugula pizza was delish! Plenty for the both of us and he took home two slices! We also got the fried artichokes and they were a hit! The spicy sauce paired perfectly too! When I ordered a beer and asked for a glass I was expecting it to be a cold glass… However our chipper waitress did not care. I would give four stars for the food. And one for the service! So two for the winner!

Pizza with toppings I can’t pronounce, but Che Chazzo mennggg is my favorite. I can’t bring myself to try anything else. All my friends rave about the honey bastard. Cuban is my favorite lunch item. Pair with Caesar salad and anchovies BIGOMNOM. gross pairing, I know. I’m a take out regular and I shall continue being one.

This pizza is seriously amazing! I have been twice and anything I order comes out tasting great. I like that the pizza is thin and the crust is both crunchy and chewy. It has that great charred tasted from the wood brick oven too. If you go you must try the Honey bastard. Sweet and tangy pizza that will not disappoint. My group had 4 different pizzas including two of the dessert items. Both the S’more calzone and the cookie butter pizza with the Trader Joe’s cookie butter on top! Wow is all I can say. As we started to eat the table fell silent and everyone had their faces covered in Nutella, melted marshmallows or cookie butter. We went ahead and crushed it all out and just agreed to hit cardio hard the upcoming week. Gotta stay fit fam! Only negative was the wait time to get a table. It seemed we kept getting pushed back on the list and I can’t say that our server was overly friendly. She was honestly pretty short with us and was hard to find when we had questions or wanted to order. I totally would have given 5 stars had the waiter been more polite. Great place to try out, I will be back!

My favorite pizza place in the dfw area! Texas has never impressed me much with pizza and I feel like it’s always the same old same old but Cane Rosso really puts a spin on pizza when they came out with the Honey Bastard! It’s such a weird and shocking taste at first but it grew on really fast! The crust and nice and flakey, the meat is savory and crunchy, and the cheese is gooey and sweet with the honey on top. I tried the Cuban sandwich which was ok but the Honey Bastard is what makes this place really special! A must try!

We came to try Cane Rosso after watching it on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. From the Unilocal reviews I had already read, I knew that this was not a traditional, American pizza joint and was looking forward to the neapolitan pizza. We came for brunch and were expecting to wait given the popularity of most Magnolia Ave. restaurants — including Brewed which is right next door. Surprisingly, Cane Rosso was basically empty when we arrived at 12(they open at 11:00). We were immediately seated, served and enjoyed a very quiet meal. There were four other parties in the whole place… We had the Honey Bastard pizza and I was immediately feeling buyers-remorse(or the restaurant version of such) but stuck to it and was pleasantly surprised. Yes, this was not a marinara pizza — but it was a great combination of sweet(honey) and spicy(spicy pepperoni, spicy bacon jam). We also ordered an italian sandwich — I can’t remember the name but there aren’t a lot of options so this was basically your ultimate, or three meat italian option. It was enormous — easily big enough for two people — so we ended up taking half of it home. The sandwich was fine, meats were good but I prefer toasted bread(this was kind of a pita bread). It just didn’t wow me. I was left wanting pepperochini or something else to kind of make this sandwich a little more exciting. The $ 1 mimosas are served during brunch — not sure when that ends. I will only say you get what you pay for with those and after one each we decided it was worth the investment to get a beer or other mixed drink.

From the start to the finish — not a single employee or manager could care that you were there! Chastised not to sit at the bar, seated 45 minutes later than quoted, slow service, then the entrees were served prior to the antipasto and salad courses. Then they explained they only make 15 servings of lasagna on each weekend night. Food may be good, but I’ve never experienced a decent restaurant this poorly run. Makes me miss the grocery that was here prior! Don’t waste an evening at this establishment!

I’ve been dying to try out this place since I’ve seen a lot of hype over it. I went this past weekend with a group of friends. I would say it’s a pretty average place. We ordered quite a few different types of pizzas off the menu. Most of the pizza we ordered seemed way too wet for my liking. I was told by some of my friends that this was not usual. Sad my first visit here wasn’t that impressive. The flavors were great but the pizza being a bit too soggy was not enjoyable. We tried the honey bastard, which was off the menu. It was good, not great. My favorite was actually the meatballs that I ordered as appetizers. Those were fantastic!

I love Cane Rosso and was excited to finally check out their Ft Worth location. This was also our first time going for brunch. I know the one in Dallas used to have a fairly large brunch menu including ricotta pancakes, but it appears they don’t do that anymore(sad face). The only breakfast items they had here were either a breakfast pizza or panini. We saw a few people order the panini and it looked amazing, but if I could only have savory I was going for pizza of the non breakfast variety. Although I did partake in their $ 1 mimosas which were fabulous. I also like that they have plenty of local beers on tap and a cute patio area for nicer weather days. My husband wanted an appetizer so we started with their fried artichokes. I thought they were just okay, not caring for the aioli in particular. We then shared the Delia pizza which is our absolute favorite. House made bacon marmalade, roasted tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, peppery arugula, just yum! I want to kiss whoever thought of this pizza combination because it is downright blissful. Honestly, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their pizzas. The fresh pasta plates and salads are delicious as well. Though I couldn’t get ricotta pancakes, I did get dessert so that made it even. And boy what a dessert at that. Fried dough tossed in powdered sugar and drizzled with both Nutella and caramel. Yep, I will take a million thanks. By the way? No shame in admitting to eating the powered sugar left in the bottom of the bowl once all the dough was devoured. Still killing it Cane Rosso! And other people seem to agree since they have multiple locations now, even coming soon to both Houston & Austin. I love to see businesses such as these grow, especially when their food stays consistent in the process. Continued success my friends.

Probably the best meal I had during my weekend visit to Dallas/FW. We came here on Tuesday lunch and the place was pretty packed, but didn’t have to wait for a table. Our server was Abbey, she was alright. She just did her job of answering our questions and bringing our food in time but not friendly. Food was good so won’t complain. PAULIEGEE So! Good! Caramelized onions really added the flavor to the pizza. Brought right out from the oven to our table, the saucy-ness and softness and chewiness of crust were perfect. I’m not a fan of deep-dish pizzas or thick crusts, so I wouldn’t change anything about this meal we had. 2 girls shared and were able to finish with ease. I loved the atmosphere and the location of this place(cute coffee shop next door, Brewed is a great dessert stop afterwards), but didn’t like our server. Other staffs seemed nice though.

True Neapolitan style pizza, so if you are looking for Pizza Hut, Papa John’s style, stay home. But this is the real thing from a wood-fired stove with cool ingredients you just don’t find elsewhere. Get something with the hot soppressata, it is outstanding. Blackboard contains special off-menu items which can be really interesting as well. Wine list is decent, craft beer list pretty limited, but this is a place for pizza and pasta, so don’t come here looking for the widest craft beer selection. My service was pretty awful on this visit, really indifferent. Our server dropped stuff on the table and was walking away before the plates hit the table. This has not been my other experience here, so maybe just a bad day for her. Parking is really dicey, the lot behind Cane Rosso is really narrow and only holds about a dozen cars max. If full, go behind Brewed and you’ll find a bit more parking although Magnolia parking in general can be a bitch. Prices are reasonable for what you get. $ 15-$ 20 per person ex gratuity and alcohol. Pretty standard for this area of Fort Worth.
