My wife and I order chicken fried rice from here all the time. They are fast, have big portions, and are reasonably priced. We were constantly on the lookout for a good Chinese, Greek, and German restaurant. We are still working on the Greek and German, but we’ve found the Chinese restaurant. It seems to only be good for takeout though. They are in a very small area in a strip mall with minimal seating. I have yet to see anyone sitting inside and eating.

I have no complaints. Ordered from here twice and everything is great. I’ve had their egg drop soup, sweet n sour chick, Sesame chicken, and egg rolls. The place is definately setup best for takeout and delivery.

Not a preferred stop but we randomly stop in for a fast lunch. We noted that the lady taking orders seems to have a mind of her own when it comes to placing your order. Watched her butch the order of the people in front of us by changing their order to what she wanted and not what they had ordered. They were polite and helped her correct the order only to receive a order that they didn’t request. So we were prepared to place an order as clear as we could only to find out that she made our order as if we were ordering from a dinner menu. After that was resolved the fun began. She started amending our order to include what the previous couple ordered. SMH? Asked if we could start over and give it one more try. 4 time was charm. Stinks seeing a small business suffer by the work their staff produces. Hope this was just a one off day for them. Think we need some completion in the Heritage area.

Love their Hot & Sour soup minus the mushrooms. Everything is made to order and fresh!

Went in around 12:30 for lunch. I was the only person inside. Several people were picking up food. The walls are bright pink. When I walked in I sat down and the waiter said«yea». I asked for a menu and ordered the General Tso chicken. Drink was in a can can with no glass or ice. The food came out on a styrofoam plate. I can honestly say the food wasn’t bad. The hot and sour soup is a little bland but the General Tso chicken was good. Nothing that would knock my socks off. Very average food.

It is a classic style of Chinese food I am used to growing up in the NE. I like it. It may not be for everyone, but they deliver, the food is always hot and fresh, and i think it’s tasty. I read the other reviews, and have never experienced cold food or bad service. Once, a few weeks ago I had them deliver 3 times in a single week. So i concider all people opinions, but i have used them at least a dozen times only to get good service, fast delivery, and good food. I recommend to atleast give them a try, as they may not be for everyone, they aren’t fancy food, but they are good, and you won’t know until you try.

I decided to give this place a chance because it had delivery. The food came hot and on time, those are the only things I can say positive. The food was compare able to bad buffets, it just did not taste good. The egg rolls or soup did not come with the combinations like the flyer said it would. I ordered the beef lo mein, orange chicken combination, sweet and sour chicken, & crab rangoons

Does not deserve any stars. I ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, a California roll, and wanton soup. I was charged for all off this but did not receive the rice or the soup. I call to let them know and was told I was wrong and didn’t order rice or soup. So I asked why I was charged she said I was not and that she could charge me again for them. This place is a joke and complete rip off. Never order from here.

When the wife is out of town, Chinese food is one of the top go to bachelor dinner options. Am I right? I got the beef lo mein and egg drop soup. It was exactly what I expected it to taste like… Chinese food from a China Express. The man who took my order was very pleasant. I waited maybe 5 minutes and he brought my take out bag to me and I was on my way. My wife is not a big Chinese food fan, but I’ll deff keep this place in mind next time I’m bach’n it up again.

I always try to give a place the benefit of the doubt as in this case. I ordered take out this 2nd and definitely my last try. I couldn’t believe how terrible the food was. I live less than 5 minutes from the restaurant yet it took over an hour and 15 minutes to deliver it and when the food arrived, it was as cold as ice. I really try not to give negative reviews, but boy does this restaurant warrant one. Take my advice, go to one of the other nearby Chinese or Asia restaurants. This place is horrible.

We decided to order chinese for dinner. Called in a couple of chicken dishes, egg rolls, and rice. The man taking the order told us it would be $ 22. Delivery man shows up and tells us its $ 24, ok so I take $ 2 off of the tip I was giving originally. When we start unpacking we realize there are no egg rolls. The chicken was decent, about the same everywhere pretty much. I will not order from them for delivery again.

It’s always pleasant to have a great experience in what seems a nondescript Chinese food shop. China Express is no exception, offering a wide variety of classic Chinese dishes at a price that almost anyone can afford. To top it off, they have attentive service, clean facilities and jaw-dropping flavors that will delight the most hardened of hearts. I ordered the Sesame Chicken and my better half ordered the Lo Mein/Chow Mein noodles. The sesame chicken sauce was 5-stars, o… m…g. Her noodles were also delicious, containing all sorts of vegetables and chopped meats inside. Both dishes came with rice(we like the fried variety) AND an egg roll AND soup(egg drop, hot and sour, etc.). Now *that’s* value while maintaining quality over quantity! One funky quirk I should mention, the soda’s came in cans, which I find to be an annoying development in the industry being a soda aficionado. I’d rather pay an extra 30 – 60 cents and serve myself with free refills. I like choices and I’m used to being spoiled — that I am not proud of. Overall I would certainly recommend this joint. The kind gentleman at the counter really made our first impression a great one, offering us a cup with ice and making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. I would absolutely encourage Chinese food fans to come on in, the food is real good.

We had a hankering for Chinese so I ordered the lunch special. I decided to be brave and order a «chicken» dish and the Kung Pao seemed to at least closely resemble poultry. The lunch consisted of the dish itself, fried or steamed rice, your choice of soup and an eggroll. The portion was more than adequate for lunch and I could certainly do with a nap now. All in all, it was tasty enough but I wasn’t overly impressed. I will return to try other entrees when my next craving strikes.

Worst food I have ever eaten. I bought almond chicken and the chicken didn’t look like chicken at all. The food was very bland including the fried rice. The fried rice had no egg in it. The sweet and sour chicken was just friedd with no vegetables. Very disappointing? Do not eat there! The meat did not resemble any meat I have ever seen.

I would consider myself a regular. Whenever my family is craving genuine Chinese food, this is where we go. The orange chicken, ribs, wonton soup, etc. never disappoint. We even tried the sushi and that was good too! If you want to avoid any Tex-Chinese food, this is the place to go. The staff is also very polite and friendly and they deliver for free if you live close enough(within one or more miles, I’m not sure).

Great takeout! Ordered a number of dishes all were good. Small shop, horrible pink walls, so take out is probably best. Did not try sushi.

I’ll give these guys a shout out since nobody else will. This is my go to place in DFW for chinese. Sure they got really good places over in Richardson. On this side of airport, this is the best that you’re going to get in chinese. The would rate the best in all of DFW, if only they had eggplant. Nice hole-in-the-wall with very friendly staff. They’ve got good lunch specials. Their egg drop soup is extremely good. I get the Kung Pao Chicken(ask for cashews instead of peanuts) My son LOVES their fried rice as they put BBQ pork in it. I’ve got to say its one of the best.. For dinner or take out, I’ll get two items. One is combination Egg Foo Young. Its not on the menu, but just say«if I pay extra, can I get it combination?». Also, ask for sauce on the side. They have a house special called Scallop, Shrimp & Chicken with Garlic Sauce. It is loaded with tons of different asian type veggies. My kid hits the chicken pretty hard and heavy, so we pay to get extra meat. This way we’ll get two or three meals out of the dish. Otherwise it gets ignored when its all veggies.
