This store is awesome. The store manager is helpful and friendly, and hot.(That was sexist. I shouldn’t have said that. But he is.) The employees are helpful and the store has a lot of really great stuff at really great prices. I shop here regularly!

Wow. I love you, Dollar Tree. Every time I go in here I find more and more really decent and awesome items in a pretty damn impressive variety. And it still blows my mind that everything costs a dollar. ONESINGLEDOLLAR for EVERYSINGLEITEM(except wildflower and herb seeds are 4 packets for 25 cents. Yes!). This particular location is usually fairly crowded and understaffed — that would be my one complaint. There seems to always be a good line going at 1 or 2 registers. But the employees I’ve encountered have always been really friendly and on top of things, so you don’t have to wait too long. I still find myself in here fairly often! Never again will I buy gift-wrap materials/bags at another store. You will not find cheaper, and they have great options! The wrapping paper is indeed a bit thin, but seriously… It’s made to be torn off! You just have to be a bit more gentle whilst wrapping! Buy your basic wine/margarita/martini/kitchen glasses here, y’all. You can’t go wrong with simple clear glass. I’ve even picked out a few colored wine glasses and love them and they’ve held up just fine. Most of the kitchen-ware I’ve found here really does work well. Wooden spoons and plastic spatulas? Why spend more? Super cute dish towels and pot holders too! Candles. General scents like vanilla, cinnamon, and unscented(do you really need anything else? I don’t!). Pillars, votives, tapers, tea-lights, flameless candles, those cool tall Catholic-y glass candles… I burn candles all the time, so it’s great to have these on hand, especially the tea-lights. I do like to buy expensive candles every now and then, I admit it. But get your bags of tea-lights here for sure! Office supplies… I don’t recommend their packing tape, but they have plenty of Scotch brand regular tape! Scissors, staplers, notepads, calendars… All this little stuff adds up so quickly at Office Depot or Target. Try the Dollar Tree first! Seasonal items and décor galore. Not the variety you’ll find at Hobby Lobby, obviously, but solidly decent for a discount store. Right now they have tons of summer stuff… Swim gear(noodle floats, goggles, pool toys, flip flops, beach towels), cute 4th of July decorations, tropical tiki-hut themed decorations, garden trinkets and wind chimes. There’s always plenty to browse. I don’t really come to the Dollar Tree for any kind of food and haven’t browsed their edible options too closely, but I did peek at their candy section. You can buy bags of name brand candies and chocolates here for way less than most places. Gum too. This review is getting super long, but I feel really passionate about the Dollar Tree. They rock.
