Food was great, but where we sat the restrooms stank bad! Shame management didn’t take care Of how bad it was

These tacos are not very good. The meat was dried out. The guacamole was flavorless. I had to use a ton of freshly squeezed lime juice to make it edible. I do like the salsa verde and chips, though.

Are you scared to go into pollo regio? Don’t be. I finally went to this chicken palace. It broke my Lisa’s Chicken addiction. My wife took me there while I was playing hookie from work. She eats there all the time at the one on Riverside. The hot sauce bar is fantastic. This chicken is roasted and you can get a half chicken to split w your friends rice beans. Live the pickled onions. Pickled shredded cabbage with jalapeños. Along with the hot salsas. Green red and even guacamole! Did I mention they have a drive thru? Go get you some Pollo Regio! My wife loves the baked potato they top with all kinds of meat. When we were there the manager came out at least 3 times to see how we were doing along with the lunch crowd.

this was my first visit to this location and it was by far the worst one. You walk out of your car and you smell S#!t !!! And you see pot holes filled with brown water and you realize it’s an over flow of human feces spreading everywhere. And you don’t realize how bad it is until you eat your meal and you walk to the restroom only to see that the toilet is filled with shit and toilet paper and you walk outside to your car and daaaaaaaamn I say hot damn that is such a strong odor of shit. Why were they open for business? I honestly won’t eat at that place because as I write this it makes me wonder how much of that backed up sewage was flowing in the kitchen area. Yuck!

Tasty chicken. Get it to go unless you want to smell like it though. Good food for a good price.

Worst pollo regio Experience !!! Food is cold and staff is really unprofessional!!! No soap in restroom or paper towels so probably not the most hygiene conscious employees!!! Also had to ask for ice one glass at a time cause they didn’t wanna fill the ice bin Really disappointing because I love the chicken and papa regio Estoy pero bien aguaitado ¡

Me encanta El Pollo Regio.

We stopped for dinner the other night and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! The carne asada plate was fantastic with no chili or cheese sauce in sight. The restaurant was very clean(including the women’s restroom) and the staff helpful. Would definitely recommend and we’ll certainly be back.

Real Mexican fast food! Finally a place in Texas that has carne asada. Nothing fancy, just good, authentic Mexican food. No TexMex here. Nice clean restaurant. Drive thru, too. Staff are nice and prompt. I had the papa asada, she had the carne asada plate. After a trip to the massive salsa bar, we quickly devoured our meal. Delicious. A refreshing change from what many restaurants call Mexican food.

Came here for lunch just on a whim. Place is clean and staff is friendly. Food is pretty awesome. Portions are huge! Just a warning cause an order has a ton of food. So bring a friend or not . I ordered the chicken torta… it’s sort of like a sandwich. Easily splittable with another person. It was my first time here but food is pretty authentic! Totally recommend. Also has a salsa bar and free chips as well.

Wow! So good! Real and fresh Mexican food. Not TeX Mex! Everyone was so nice and the food is outstanding! Fresh tortillas, chips, salsa and carne asada! I have to eat gluten free because I have an allergy and after eating the food I feel just fine!

Actually, the food here is pretty good. We had the whole chicken dinner which included rice, beans, corn tortillas, and dipping salsas(red and green). The problem was you need to take it «to go» as the inside of the restaurant was dirty and the buffet style array of condiments was ill-maintained and appeared well used, not fresh. Also, they were out of ice tea in the dispenser. The girl at the counter did not know how to run my credit card to authorize it. When our food came, it was all in a single plastic bag with the liquid items(beans and salsas) upside down inside. I asked for an additional bag, but they were also out of those too(I think) as the employees spoke little English. We may try this again, as I said before, the chicken was quite good but it will have to be «to go» only. Maybe the other locations are cleaner?

Yummmmm! Authentic tasting Mexican food. I had the shredded chicken tostada. It was huge portion and worth the money. They have awesome avacado sauce.
