Hmmm the food was different! I’ve had taste of Asia and mainly Ming wok as my go to for Chinese food for many years so I figured why not try something else. It was very different and I’m not sure how to review the food. The food was kinda bland and the orange chicken taste and looked much like the General tsao chicken. Only difference I noticed was the small chops of oranges but they both taste the same. Go for it I guess since it’s cheaper and you have an option for small or large plates but even with the small I was filled up. Only problem I had for this place was the lack of translation I had with the guy on the phone. He barely spoke or understood English. And they charged an extra $ 1 for making an order over the phone as opposed to the online order. They were the same exact order so I’m not sure the price difference was made.

My weekly stop for Chinese food! The family that owns it is always kind and they welcome customers with a smile. Their black pepper chicken and sesame chicken are better than anywhere else I’ve tried. Portions are big, and includes free soup and spring roll.

Food is good and cheap. I always get the Chicken moosho, you have to order it to get it cooked.

This is not even a version of American chinese food. And try getting the cashier to smile… I’ll take my $ 2.99 to QT and get a hot dog and soda.

This place is far from amazing. For me its all about convenience. This place is close to where to I live, and one meat and fried rice for 2.99. While its not the best Chinese food you’ll find it is good for its price. The price is hard to beat and the food is not horrible for for the price.

Give this place another try. They have a new owner, which is a good thing!(I had a similar experience as the first reviewer.) Notice the panda’s picture is no longer on the logo. The quality is on par with the more expensive panda bear brand. Must keep in mind this is a fast food Chinese restaurant that start at a $ 2.99 minimum. It is greasy but that is the way it is supposed to be for midland American fast food. So the rating is based on the same kind of restaurants and buffets. Rice noodles: not happy at first because I got the last of the batch and thought, not good. Surprisingly the noodles had a good flavor to them. 4⁄5 Sesame Chicken: this really shined and had a good taste and a good consistency, It the kind that is thick on the batter. 5⁄5 Pepper Chicken: nice and peppery with green peppers too! Greasy, spicy, and the chicken was pretty good. 4⁄5 Crawfish(I was feeling brave): They were frozen, but the sauce was good. I don’t like frozen, but these are on par with what you get at a large buffet. They should be cheaper, IMO. 3⁄5 Soup: Sweet and sour was good and also on par of what you would get at the buffets. 4⁄5 Bottom line: I will be back. If you were there about 6 months ago, then give this place another try. Great for a quick lunch between classes. If the food stays fresh, then it should do well. I like it better than the place on James and the other bear places. One FYI: The owner is related to the owner of a large buffet chain — so he may know where to get good ingredients and how to cook. Chinese owned and operated. Say nihao!

I just wanted to come on here to say that this place i great food for a good price. Yes i does seem to rip off panda express but the food tastes better and i get twice the food for half the price. This place charges $ 6 to $ 8 for double the food that another chinese food chain charges $ 12 to $ 14 for and the food is great. I say try it out it may not be everyones cup of tea but it is worth a try.

Apparently, the Chinese have gotten so good at counterfeiting American brands that they would even knock off an American brand of Chinese food. Just drive by and look at their logo. A panda against a red background in a circle with its body coming out slightly to the right. It’s a cheap place, which has it benefits but it doesn’t have much selection. The fried rice that came with the meal(sweet & sour chicken) was rather bland and I was hoping that there would be some soy sauce to liven it up. Instead, there were mustard packets. Really? Mustard? Are their primary spices cumin, oregano and curry also? I was kind of excited for this little guy when I saw it was about to open just down the street from me but now I have to wait for them to go out of business and for another contender to win my affection(the La Hechizera that preceded Go Go Panda wasn’t half bad).
