Imponente Pizza & Pasta

Just found this little gem. And I’m so happy that I did. They have a good selection of beer on tap and decent wine collection.
I ordered the Hawaiian calzone and was not dissapointed. It had a good dough to filling ratio. Atmosphere is casual and great for families.
We will certainly be back.

This spot is a hidden little gem near the Lowes in Lake Worth. We stopped to grab a bite of dinner and happened to catch them just before closing. They close a little earlier than one would expect but that may have just been because it was during the week.
Anyway… The food was very good and the service quick and friendly. I had the chicken parmigiana, my wife had the stromboli and my brother had a pizza. Everything was excellent, especially my chicken parm. I would definitely go back just for that, but I will try something else on my next visit, and there will be a next visit.
The owner took the time to stop by our table and chat which was a very nice touch. These days it’s nice to see owners and managers who appreciate their customers.

Great lunch buffet pizza and salad for lunch! Owner nice enough of to make a veggie pizza for me.

This was the best pizza I have ever had. We got two. We did a build your own and a specialty pizza. The specialty was the smoked brisket pizza and it was so good. We found this place by chance and it’s now a new favorite and will return. Service is friendly and owners come to every table. Wonderful spot

Continuing our drive home to Houston, it was time to stop and eat and lucked into this great little family place.
I expected the bucatini con polpette (bucatini and meatballs for the rest of us) to be standard fare — it was garden it! Fresh, handmade sauce, the meatballs were very good w the light taste of fennel.

Been here a few times! Food is fantastic! I have tried the pizza and the shrimp Diablo. Both were great! Definitely would recommend!

Love this place! Pizza is always fantastic. Lasagna was good. They also had a Mexican type flatbread for an appetizer. It was very good also. Service has always been great too!

The pizza is absolutely delicious! They use a wood fire oven that gives an authentic taste to their culinary creation. The owner is super friendly and very passionate about the business. I personally love their imponente pizza. Chef Dean is good too!
Definitely a must try if you’re in the area. The only con is their pizza is only 8 slices so if you have a larger group you need to order a few pizzas. My group of 3.5 (I have a 2 yr old) can easily finish 2 pizzas. I just wish they had a location in Grapevine since I only get to indulge when I visit my parents.

Expensive for what you get. This was our 1^st time in and we were excited to have a Mom and Pop place. The services was lack luster and in fact when I asked for our check the lady snapped at me. For the price you expect to be blown away. It just left something to be desired. We will just drive a few miles up Boat Club for Taste of Italy next time.

The customer service was amazing! The food was even better! I am so glad that we, a family of 5 came here to eat. Being new to the area and find a place that is worth it is hard! This place stood up to other reviews and surpassed some!

I go here for the wood burning stove that makes the best pizza in the area! I like crispy crust and this pizza does that. Staff is exceptionally friendly and the food is delish.
Only one suggestion — more pasta dishes. As I recall, they have a few such as lasagna etc., but I’d like to see more variety in the cooked dishes — chicken marsala, picatta, maybe a couple fresh fish dishes, carbonara etc. The Italian dishes are very slim on the menu.

Some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met! Awesome staff and very cool owners. The pizza is amazing, just the right amount of everything. If you haven’t been here before you are missing out!

We’ve been here a few times and every time is great, but yesterday was AMAZING! First of all, it was busy and there was only one server working and he did a great job! I honestly expected him to forget our appetizer order because three tables walked jn tight after he took the order and he was rushing to greet them, but it came out very promptly.
The food was phenomenal as well. We got the pepperoni rollettes, then my husband got his usual (the Hawaiian calzone) and I decided to break out of my usual (the Caprese salad) and tried the bucatini con polpette. WOW! We agreed that the sauce for this might very well be the best tasting sauce we had ever tried. And for our son’s meal we got the chicken tenders, which were true to their name. A crispy exterior with soft, flaky chicken inside. So many places serve sub par food for children’s meals but here they definitely do not.
Now on to the owners. Every single time they come over and talk with us to check in that everything is good. You can tell they genuinely care and that gives this place more of a homey vibe. I super recommend

Very nice casual place, friendly staff, knowledgable, good food. Small quaint place that has a hidden gem. There are 3 Italian places around jacksboro highway and boat club, and this is the only one with an in house wood fired pizza oven that I know of. Portions are big, but the price is not. They have kids portion and did not even have to request. They have an app that you can download and earn rewards. We will be returning!

I put all pizza places to the same test. How is their pepperoni pizza? If it’s good I’ll come back. And that’s what I basically order every time. Well the pepperoni was good. However it’s not what’s going to bring me back. I was blown away at the pizza my family got (The Florentine). Wow! I can’t say enough about how good that pizza is. Perfect sauce, perfect crust, I mean down right fabulous.
Finally a great pizza place that’s real pizza and not some overly processed Dominos or Pizza Hut mess. I can’t believe this place is Lake Worth.

$ 12 and $ 10 for a 12in pizza.
They only offer 12in pies. I repeat, there is no other available size pizza, except for the child’s mini pizza.
I chose the Emiliana ($ 12) the menu states that it comes with: Pizza sauce, fresh Mozzarella, Prosciutto ham, arugula, shaved parmigiano —
The «prosciutto» was cut into squares. I highly doubt they use proper prosciutto, which would have been draped delicately and NOT cooked. My pizza was overly salty and had not one leaf of arugula. It came with spinach leaves.
My date chose the New York Minute ($ 10) A standard pepperoni pizza. Nothing special. He had heartburn that night from it.
This place is WAY overpriced. Don’t let the pizza oven fool you. There was no char, no extra crisp crust, and an overall bland tasting dough.

So, I was reminded that I just ate a wood burning pizza, which was really tasty. I mean the ingredients used were fresh… very good. However, there were two things in which bothered me. The first was the appetizer, could have been better, it tasted microwave, although don’t know for sure. The second was the size of the pie, kind of small for the price. I can eat me some pizza, and can surly engulfed it all by myself. The atmosphere was pleasant, a lot of TVs to watch the game, and a couple of beers on tap. The server was decent on service, wasn’t clingy nor avoiding.
I think next time we will skip the appetizer and just get two large pies (really small)…seems like the better value.

The cheese pizza that I got was great, and the service was very prompt. My waitress checked back often and was very friendly.
I also got a calzone which was very tasty. My food came out quickly as well. I will definitely come back!
