We ordered food for delivery from here on a Sunday afternoon. The food(Sesame Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, and Egg Rolls) arrived very quickly and very hot! Everything was very good and there was plenty left over for several meals afterwards. I do believe this will be our new go to for food delivery when we’re too lazy to get out of the house!

Really good. Chinese fast food is always a gamble, but these guys are great. Not only was it fast, but hot and delicious. We got the orange chicken(after reading a review that said it was good) and it lived up to expectations for sure. Also got the deep fried dumplings which were great, eggrolls which were decent, and the delicious sweet and sour pork. Delivery was fast, but also we live like 3 minutes away.

I ordered delivery yesterday and when I opened one dish, I saw it wasn’t what had been described. The chicken was supposed to be deep fried but instead, it had been tossed around a skillet and was still grey. The accompanying vegetables, large stalks of celery and carrots, were raw. I called to inform the manager and asked that the dish be replaced. He said no, but if I brought the unwanted dish to him, he would make a new plate, with a $ 2 discount. I said no as he continued to haggle with me and I said I will call my bank to reverse the charge. A few minutes later, the manager was knocking at my door. He was insisting I buy another plate and I felt that he was attacking me, shouting and insisting. I will never order from them again.

DON’T ORDERFROMTHISPLACE. They harass customers that complain about the terrible food! I ordered Almond Chicken and was told that it was deep fried and tossed in a garlic sauce, of which I asked for very little sauce. When it arrived, the chicken was lightly fried, really soggy, gray in color, and it smelled bad. The celery and carrots were completely raw as well. Dissatisfied with the order, I called back and discussed my concerns. I asked for them to send another order of Orange Chicken(I ordered both the Almond and Orange Chicken). What I guess is the owner or manager got on the phone and started arguing with me. He said things like, «I can’t reuse the dish», «I can’t help that you don’t like it», etc. Well, I’m not going to eat rotten chicken. Frustrated, I hung up with the manager/owner. He called me back about 4 times and I didn’t answer. About 20 minutes later, he shows up at my door to argue. Talk about harassment, right? He told me that he has to pay for food cost and that I will have to come back to his store with the Almond Chicken and pay an extra $ 6 for the Orange Chicken. Are you serious? You harass me with phone calls, come to my door to harass me some more and then expect me to pay more for rotten food?

I can’t give this place a higher rating just because I’ve only tried the wings from this place. The wing combo is a good deal, 6 wings with fries and a drink for $ 6.48(tax included). The hot lemon pepper are my favorite! The fries aren’t bad and I enjoy the meal over all. This restaurant isn’t located in the best area of east Fort Worth and that might be why they don’t really care to maintain a nice appearance to it. I’ve never dined in b/c it just doesn’t seem like a restaurant but more like an old abandoned cafeteria. If you are looking for a good Chinese place you might be better off w/one located right in front of QT on Brentwood Stair Rd.

My husband totally loves this place! He always gets the sweet-and-sour chicken and fried rice. The egg rolls are pretty good too I think that some of the dishes are kind of hit or miss you just have to experiment and find the ones that are really awesome! Even though there may be some tables and chairs inside it is not the type of place that you want to sit down and eat — it’s either for delivery or to go. We have a friend that comes in from out of town occasionally that loves it too — he gets general tsos

I think this place definitely deserves 1 star. I called in a delivery order, though the man who picked up the phone was nice, informative and quick, he was a little two quick. My phone call was a total of 2 ½ minutes and considering he was handling my credit card info, I felt he could have slowed downed and at least repeat the info back to me. Was my call interrupting him, or were they just swamped? Which I couldn’t imagine they were considering the food was just«okay». And by «okay» I mean it was here, we were hungry and we forced ourselves to eat it. The first thing I had was the Chicken lo mein, which was good except I didn’t enjoy biting into the chicken to find remnants of a bone. I’m Cambodian, I’m use to eating chicken still attached to the bone, but this was a Chinese American food business and i’m sure Americans are not accustomed to eating their chicken this way. Not acceptable. I also ordered the potstickers, which were burned, but not necessarily cooked. As soon as I took a bite, the filling just fell out of it… the filling on its own was bland. The eggrolls were the same way. I’m not one to complain, but I didn’t even try to call them to complain or try to get my money back because I just didn’t feel like it was worth my time for a small business such as this one. I will not order from them again. Extremely disappointed.

Can’t justify giving a good review to such a crappy place the food was substandard the delivery driver was some kid that was probably high when he delivered my stuff and to top it off he stole money from my credit card after I was nice enough to tip him in cash all in all I would never eat here again and would not recommend it to anybody

I was going to give this 2 stars, but I couldn’t justify that high of a rating for a meal that I couldn’t even finish. This is one of those situations where this is one of the closest places to eat when I’m at work. Today was a pretty busy day where I had to get out and get my food, and come back in a hurry. I did Subway a million times this week, so this was one of the few choices that I had left. I knew that I was taking a big risk. I had been here 2 times before. I got lucky once and struck out once, so I was playing Russian roulette with my dinner, and I lost. I got the shrimp fried rice and some veggie egg rolls. The veggie egg rolls were the frost bitten rolls that I expected to taste once I saw them, and the shrimp in the shrimp fried rice had a weird film on it… the rice tasted like fried rice, but the shrimp in it didn’t taste fresh at all. When I struck out here the last time, I remember getting the sweet and sour shrimp and thinking that those shrimp tasted old, right along with the batter that coated them. I took the food back to work, opened it up, took a couple of bites, and threw the box away. I was disgusted with myself for wasting my time and money. I hate the fact that neighborhoods with lower income families don’t have access to healthy foods and decent places to eat in many cases. That’s a rant for somewhere other than Unilocal.I won’t go there… I advise you not to go to King Wok either.

There chicken fried rice, orange chicken, egg drop soup, and egg rolls are awesome. Best Chinese takeout I’ve had in a while. At a great price too. Daily takeout specials for $ 6.95. I’ll be going back.

Every once in awhile I actually crave Chinese food. I don’t know why, especially since for many years I didn’t eat it at all with the exception of once a year at Christmas… give you one guess at what religion I was raised??? We ate it too much, almost every other weekend we had the stuff, so I got burnt out for many years. All of a sudden I live in Texas and I want to eat it again. But it’s not the same, or at least most of the places I’ve been to here are passable, but not the Chinese food you can get in the North East. I guess it’s similar to my rants on pizza, Italian food and good bagels. Not to say that there aren’t good Chinese restaurants here in the DFW area. Jasmine’s in Addison is one of those few good places. King Wok, is close to work, I think that was the highlight of the place. I had Hunan Beef which is suppose to be spicy, it wasn’t. The egg drop soup was decent and you get quite a bit for only $ 1.50. The Hunan Beef was full of veggies and the beef was decent and I did like the bamboo shoots so it was passable, but not a wow kind of meal. On the positive, there was alot of food and it was hot! The location is a bit shaky, and you really only want to do take out there. I’m pretty sure that not many dine in. It didn’t look like it. I think that’s about all I have to say about it…

If you want bugs in your food go here. I got a pick up order and when I got home and opened container there were gnats in the food! FAIL

this is located in the hood so dont expect anything. I actually love their Mongolian Beef, very good so I give them a 3. Tried Orange beef and orange chicken and they were quite nasty since they were delivered(im sure they could be good if eaten in restaurant). Did not like their eggrolls.

I’ve only ever ordered delivery. They are not only prompt but usually at my house faster than the quoted time. The food tastes better to me then their competitor China Grill. They also will adjust the spicyness to your liking. They are always very kind and the owner called us on a follow up to ask how we were enjoying dinner. Was open to any suggestions to make it better.

King Wok specializes in super-cheap Chinese food as carry-out or delivery, but they also have plenty of seating inside. Delivery, carry-out, and service are all prompt and courteous. Dining-in is… different… well, if you don’t mind your meal being served in styrofoam with plastic forks you’ll love the generic décor and that sparkle of canned sodas(that’s all they have available) can only brighten your day. However, like I’ve mentioned, the food is super-cheap. You’ll dine splendidly on a repast of goo, sparse meat, and tons of the cheapest vegetables they could find. Beds of half a head of cabbage… two full onions in your ‘mongolian beef’… an entire bell pepper in whatever else you’ve ordered… fake fried rice… oh, and the sick feeling you’ll have hours after you’ve eaten is a true bonus. :P
