well had yet another problem with my bike I got them to rebuild my scooter engine for me as it was bad since I bought it but I had to wait until I had the money to fix it so I take it to frank again and he rebuilds it and bike runs great until about 2 months laters im driving down the road and all the sudden I hear this clunk lose power bike stalls and wont restart im like wtf I just had everything fixed on this bike what now!!! so I take bike to shop yet again… frank looks at it says well looks like your belt broke and you where still on your stock belt and right then I realized he mentioned belt to me before but I forgot. not to mention bike was at 7,000 miles and stock belt only rated for 5,000 so kinda my own
I did the smart thing I said fix it he had one on hand and me me riding the next day. he has been super generous helping me with bike and his prices are more then fair and his work is
about a week later a cat got ahold of my fuel line and scratched it up and was leaking I had the extra piece of line from when he had replaced it before so I go back to shop again said hey im leaking fuel can you help me out he stopped what he was doing came right over put the line on in like 2 minutes and said have a nice day cant get better customer service then that
love this shop and will keep going there for all my needs thanks frank and nancy for taking care of me!

Monkey Wrench is absolutely the best. I don’t trust my bike to anyone but Frank. He’s an awesome mechanic, and just as awesome person. He’s honest, fair and the nicest guy you’d ever meet. I highly recommend Monkey Wrench Cycles.

I wanted to eliminate the heavy, hot & restrictive exhaust on my BMW RS. After buying an Akrapovic titanium can Frank fabricated a new stainless steel connecting pipe from the header. Both the fit & finish are excellent and Frank was great to work with from the very first call and really seemed to care about the work he was doing. The price was also very reasonable.
Forget the dealers, I’d recommend Monkey Wrench for all your bike work.

They sure did make good money off of my little nothings. Taken to the shop twice. $ 500 the first time $ 200 the second. I seriously feel cheated by them because now my bike doesn’t even turn on!
The first time they poked a hole in my gas tank and found out when I was filling it up!
They replaced the tank and I asked for more changes since they MISSED a few.
I feel like they only made my bike sound better, not run more efficiently. Just because I’m a girly girl doesn’t mean I’m an idiot. Well perhaps because I even went back a second time. Scams.

These guys are real stand up people; bought a ZX-​14 last Saturday, checked it all out, paid cash and off I went. Get it home and inspect it Sunday, come to find out there’s a major crack in the frame, called up Frank and let him and know and sent him a picture of it.
Brought it back on Monday, he inspects it and refunds me in full with no hassle. You won’t see any other dealer offer that much understanding and service. I knew when I purchased the bike that he hasn’t had much time to inspect it so I fully believe he didn’t know about it but he made good on his offer to refund me without any issues.
A+ ethics and morals at this place, you won’t regret it.

I’m really glad I decided on this place after calling all over town for pricing on repairs for two of my Honda Ruckus’. The owner was honest and very knowledgable on the work I needed. He turned my bikes on, diagnosed the issues immediately after hitting the throttle and I came back next day to all issues fixed… I’m definitely recommending him to my buds and bringing my motorcycle in when needed.
Honest, affordable and most important of all… My bikes run better than new. 2 thumbs up!

I found this place by just doing a google search I didn’t even read the reviews I just really wanted my motorcycle fixed and I was really searching for a good place near me and it popped up I called and was greeted by a nice gentleman by the name of Frank over the phone. his demeanor was very nice which put me at ease especially when I started acting just like a female trying to describe what was wrong with the motorcycle I’m surprise that he didn’t start laughing at me over the phone he was sincerely trying to understand what I was saying I sent him pictures of what I was speaking of although it didn’t quite help the fact that he was so into trying to figure out what was wrong and even trying to diagnose what was wrong with it over phone is what really sold me to take my motorcycle to him.
I took it and let me just say don’t let the location fool you at all this man here knows what he’s doing. he called me and told me what was wrong he informed me on contributing factors that may be a issue down the road he told me the turnaround time on when it would be done and called me a week ahead of what I thought and told me it was done! this man really does know what he’s doing I was super impressed he also looked around for other potential Issues. It really made me feel like he had my best interest on the road as far as safety goes being that I’m a female it is really made me feel good and when I went to go pick the bike up he show me the faulty parts and told me what was wrong and he put it in a way to even I could understand it even showed me two more potential things that I need to address in the future as far as the chain and the sprockets that made me feel really good thaT is what made me know that I’ve found my mechanic I honestly can say I won’t take it to anybody else.

I had a great experience with Monkey Wrench Cycles. I bought and older bike, a 1997 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500, that had been sitting in a garage for several years. They picked up the bike took it in and cleaned the carbs, the tank and replaced the plugs and all the fluids as well. They also replaced the clutch and got me a great deal on 2 new tires. Since picking my bike up I have dropped by the shop a couple of times for some minor questions and the owner, Frank has always been very helpful even showing me how to make some simple repairs myself. I am completely satisfied with the work performed the time it took to perform the work. Their customer service has gone above and beyond my expectations. Monkey Wrench Cycles is the only place that will work on my bike.

Called twice about bringing my bike in for work. I don’t have a trailer so they offered their service to come get it. First call they advised they would call the next day. They didn’t. That next afternoon I called and they scheduled pick up for 930a this morning. No show, no call which left me hanging. I’m glad they have so much business that they don’t need me. I decided on another shop while on my way to find out why I had to work so hard to get MW to take my money.

I’m pretty happy with my experience at Monkey Wrench Cycles. I had apes installed on my bike with internal wiring, and thought they did a nice job. The price was reasonable as well. They also showed integrity, by calling and asking if my front fender had already had a previous nick in it (it did), and offering to fix it if they had done it. My one suggestion would be for them to tour the bike for nicks/​scratches beforehand to head off any potential problems.
I’d go back for other services.
