Took me 30 mins to get even close to getting into the range as regulars kept coming in, and despite the fact that I had been there WAY before them– the staff just stopped helping me and attended to the people they knew. I finally grabbed my firearms and walked out.

Just bought a gun and had never been to a range before. Met at the door by friendly staff. Helped me through the whole process. Will definitely be back. Will recommend this place to anyone.

Keep in mind, I didn’t shoot at this range, only came to watch my husband practice for his CHL. We were greeted immediately when we arrived, which was nice. It’s kind of a «follow the sign» entrance, but otherwise we found the place just fine. As soon as we were greeted, it was next to business. Asked why we were here and then we went about our business. All shooters must sign in, which is nice, however I wish it was a little more private. The sign in book is more like a guest book, except with more information than I prefer the people coming in behind me know. After we signed in, we had to read the rules of the range, then get everything checked. This is a brass casing only place, be warned. Half of the ammo we brought was turned away. You pay as you exit, due to the shooting being hourly based. There are two reasons I didn’t give this range high scores; customer service and respect. The young man helping us was nice, however other employees didn’t smile or say anything to us while we were there. Not to say everyone should stop what they’re doing and say«hello» but a simple nod or greeting as we walked past them would have been nice. Now, to the respect portion. They have a sign posted on the bulletin board that was very offensive to me; talking about why the President hadn’t been assassinated. I understand that I’m in a gun range, but this is Texas and they need to understand that not every customer that walks in their doors is a republican. Regardless of your political beliefs, have some respect for your customers and how they might feel. I’m sure my husband will return, just wanted to put our 2 cents out there.

They give u a break on range time and they do have an indoor rifle range that u can use(under supervision) but the shop is over priced on gear I mean 80 $ for a pistol case u can get for 20 $ anywhere else and the staff act more like cops with a chip on there shoulder then sells men and last I checked they don’t carry magpul anything they do have good guns with avg prices and they do have conceal carry classes that were about 200 $ last I checked witch was about 4months ago. Classes are every other Saturday. If not for the attitude of the staff it would be an ok place too shoot

Pretty expensive and poor ventilation. When I left there I was coughing for hours. Staff wasn’t rude, but not friendly either. I asked for a box of .45 auto and he gave reloads. I think you should tell the customer all you have is reloads and ask if that’s ok before you ring it up and then go get the box. I took them and still have them in my closet for emergencies, but will probably never use them and I doubt I’ll go back to On Target.

For being in the middle of nowhere, $ 13 an hour seems high… although the guy said you can stay as long as you want so long as there is not a waiting line – and…no metal cased ammo – only brass(which may be the standard – I don’t know)

My first visit I felt I was met by condescending male staff! not friendly or helpful very aggressive and aloof! It felt NOT female friendly… maybe a good olé boy feel? more for Bubba and Clem to hang out and shoot??? however, I felt safe with the posted rules and the shooting range is nice and comfortable with plenty of well lite lanes and they have great place for non-shooters to observe. I’m not sure if I will come back… given all the choices of other FW ranges…
