BEST burgers I’ve ever had! If you’re in town this is a place you must go to. Atmosphere is great, service can be a little hit or miss depending on who you have and how busy they are but the food is always spot on. I love that they have dueling burgers so there’s always opportunity to try something new. They also give you the option to swap out the burger to beef, turkey, chicken, quinoa. You can’t go wrong with anything you choose, even the salad. Price is good for what you get. Be prepared to be stuffed and wanting to come back the next day! Only issue is the difficulty in parking. Definitely suggest going early to beat the crowds. Dog friendly on the outside patio.

The burgers are bomb. I’ve always done a build your own. Their spicy cheese is good, but sooo hot! You’ve been warned. Their fries are so delicious as well. The place is usually really crowded, which I don’t really like, but that just shows that it’s good. If you’re like me though, you can order to pick up and take home.

On a Sunday afternoon(3pm) this place was slammin! the server was wonderful. She knew her beers and helped me choose one to my liking. Although they were super busy, we got great service. We only had the option of sitting on the patio, but this was perfect. The day was perfect patio weather & since it was busy there was lots of action to keep us entertained while we waited. We ordered the chips & queso, which also came with the red & green salsa. It was perfect since the burgers took some time. We have a toddler & getting a high chair wasn’t a problem. The burgers were great. I got one of the veggie burgers & was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was. A lil pricy, but not too bad for gourmet burgers.

Shoulder shrug. This place is definitely over hyped. If you’ve visited Hopdoddy before, this place is like it’s ugly, younger brother with a wider range of beer. The menu is one-sided and really simple. They have vegetarian options and you can replace your beef patty with turkey, chicken or quinoa. I got the Dutch chocolate milkshake which tasted slightly watered down. For the appetizer, we got the cheese fries surprise. I don’t recommended this for less than 4 people because it’s huge! My dad got the oaxaca burger and he said it didn’t taste any different from a regular burger grilled at home. I got the Terlingua burger and it was really sweet. I didn’t really like it and only ate half. All the ingredients(tomatoes, lettuce, etc.) look freshly cut. We came in right at lunch time so the whole place and the outdoor patio was packed. Our burgers took 20 minutes to come out and our service wasn’t anything outstanding. She came. We ordered. She gave us our check. The décor is super laid back and simple with a few strands of lights and wood structure all around.

Oh man. I willingly go into a food coma every time I come. Burgers are delicious. Good drink selection and love the cheese fries surprise. It does get a little crowded sometimes, but it’s always been worth the wait.

The place was great, the vibe was chill, I like the high seats, would be a perfect chill first date type of place to grab a burger and have great conversation. Somewhat noisy from the cooks, but that is the tradition when it comes to food coming up… the burger was delicious. I had the hot bastard, only thing be warned it is really hot. And I usually eat real spicy food, I had to put ketchup on it to sweeten it. The salad was also delicious, my God! Huge for only 3 bucks.

The burgers are not your average joe burger, they take it up a couple notches at Rodeo Goat. The good ol’ Nanny goat burger is a good beginner burger for a first timer. But honestly you won’t be disappointed with any choice you decide to go with. My best advice is to ALWAYS get the cheese fries surprise or you can get no surprise(the surprise is the chili meat) and then split a burger with a pal! Trust me it’s the way to go unless you’re just mad hungry and want it all. Don’t forget your moon tang! Its the perfect beverage to pair with cheese fries and burger.

Friends had been asking us to join them here because they claim its the best burger in Ft Worth. After eating here, I would say it was one tasty burger. In fact, I would rate this place 5 stars, but the parking situation is… well, let’s just say if you can walk here, it’d be a better option! But let’s get back to why we’re here in the first place and that’s the food and atmosphere. It appears that this was at one time a stall barn that held critters back in the day. It’s been gussied up a bit, but still retains all the cool elements of a barn, sans the animals. The menu has about 10 – 12 outrageously creative burgers that are ready for your tasting or you can just opt to build your own. They also have some wonderful appetizers and sides. Our party opted for the«Steaming Pile» as an appetizer and it’s a smörgåsbord of divineness! Everyone in our party tried a different burger and everyone finished them in record time. If you decide to visit, which you should, make sure you try the steaming pile and if you like homemade potato chips, then get those as a side. Perfectly done! Fun place with great food and customer service. Can’t go wrong!

I can’t quite give this an all-around review because we didn’t have a full dinner here, and yet their burgers looked and smelled completely delicious. However: great ambience, great fries, friendly service, thumbs up! Inside you’ll find mostly long high tables with little«MYSIDE» markers you can use to awkwardly fence yourself off from your neighbors, if you like. They have fencing(similar to what you’d find at the rodeo, obv) and a good number of televisions scattered about. The place is casual, and while it’s open late and a nice place to have a drink, I’m not sure i would consider it a bar(in that it is also a restaurant, not a bar that happens to have food). We shared a side of fries that were hand-cut, well seasoned and perfectly crispy with squishy insides, just the way I like ‘em. They also have a fair selection of draft crafts, a big selection of craft bottles/cans, and all your standard domestics and imports. There’s a small menu of cocktails and wine, too. Street parking around and a few places in the private lot out back if you’re lucky.

Super cool vibe in this little burger joint. We walked in about 10 minutes to close, which we didn’t really know because the hours are off on the webitsite! Ooops! But the little tiny adorable waitress was SOHAPPY and told us just to order quick and she’d sneak our order back. How sweet, huh? I loved the laid back atmosphere of this place. The tables were kind of cafeteria style long and shared, but with a few booths if your not feeling up to being friendly and you know. southern like? Huge menu of burgers and large selection of beers on draft. Quite a few ciders as well for my gluten free siblings –always a plus in our book! We started with the cheese fries surprise. Crisp French fries smothered with their homemade chili, ooey, gooey, heart-attacky cheese, and jalapenos. Our own special twist? Blue cheese crumbles on top. Perfectly crave-able for our late night munchies. I order their version of a blue cheese burger. But i’ll be honest. I was a wee bit disappointed. I love a good burger guys, topped in yummy blue cheese crumbles, and this burger had some sort of squishy blue cheese coleslaw on it, that made my bun soggy. It wasn’t my favorite… But I would definitely be willing to go back, order something else and give this place another try.

Rodeo goat is a great place to grab a burger on Friday night. The problem is everyone else is grabbing a burger at Rodeo Goat as well. Even though Rodeo Goat is frequently crowded, the service is pretty quick. My favorite part about rodeo goat is the ranch. They must put an extra something special to make it taste so delicious. The cheese fries(with ranch of course) are a great way to start the meal(they usually bring them out before the entrée unless you request otherwise). As for the burgers, everything I’ve tried has been tasty. They have quite a few vegetarian options if meat is not your thing. They have a great selection of beer along with many other beverage options. Parking is a struggle, especially during peak times. The lot is tiny and street spots fill up quickly as well. The food is completely worth the struggle, though.

Not too shabby. Food was okay. Service was great. Hot Bastard has a good amount of spice to it. I don’t know how I feel about the quinoa patty, but I guess if you can’t have meat… Lol my friend liked it. Cheese fries, chips & queso, Oh Whitney, and Cowboy Cobb were all decent enough. The«jalapeño croutons» on the salad were soggy so meh.

What a burger! Or burgers, that is, because I was with 2 people who only ate half of their burgers, so I got to try 3 different burgers. All were phenomenal with different flavors but the same, high-quality taste. We also went for the chili cheese fries as our app and the goat balls for dessert. Everything was fantastic. I’m now miserable from over-beefing my body, but it was totally worth it!

Burgers and anything covered in cheese is basically my favorite food and my go to… when I want to let loose that is. Often I see ads across DFW claiming that Rodeo Goat is the BESTBURGER in the area. That’s quite a bold statement if you ask me. So, in order to satisfy my inner fattie I ventured to Rodeo Goat for lunch. I dig the relaxed ambiance and the outdoor patio. The parking lot blows but there is some street parking. The service is pretty attentive so no complaints there. As soon as I walked in I remembered that I had been here before and didn’t like it the first time… We had the surprise cheese fries($ 9.50) and immediately regretted it. The portion is HUGE. The fries are topped with cheese, bacon, jalapenos, chili, and more cheese. It’s literally so much cheese I couldn’t even find the fries underneath it. Also, the cheese hardens up so it really becomes a solid blanket of cheese. We had the chili on the side and that it was mehh. Needless to say we did not finish this. This is probably something you’d order for 4 people. I had the salted sow($ 9.50?) and thought it was alright. Its a beef mixed with Italian sausage patty burger with a slice of prosciutto, pesto, basil, mozzarella, and tomatoes. I’m typically a huge pesto and prosciutto lover but it just didn’t work for me. It was good, not great. I didn’t like how they just stuck two big basil leaves into the burger. I think it would have been better if it was chopped up. So, not the greatest burger in DFW.

As «craft» beer/burger joints pop up all over this state; leave it to a place called Rodeo Goat to put a Texas spin on it. Outside looking in, looks like a trendy place. Inside, you actually have an option to sit in the goat pen. Waiter service, who new that would work in a burger place(a jab at local Austin power house Hopdoddy)! Drink menu is huge; burger options don’t even stop with the menu. They make up two different burgers and they go head to head to see if they make the regular menu. Before I get to my burger, let me tell you about the steaming pile. Those food service grade cheesy jalapeño bites topped with bacon, goat cheese, cheddar, and an over easy egg. Boring turned into an amazing dish. The Bowie Ladue burger paired a chorizo and beef patty with grilled onions, cheese, remoulade, and blackened shrimp. The wife choosing the Whiskey burger with Irish cheddar, candied bacon, blackberry compote, and whole-grained mustard. Obviously, creativity abounds at Rodeo Goat. Thankfully, the pairings of ingredients have the flavors to match. Can’t wait for another visit!

I came here one night after the gym for the first time and was surprised it wasn’t as crowded being that it was the weekend. When I walked in, I noticed the establishment being like a rodeo/kitchen/outdoorsy bench type setup(lol totally fits the name). It was self seating and you pretty much find a spot in between the people that are already seated along the benches. When I sat down(near the wall), I noticed a lot of pictures of goat rodeo. I’m not too sure how I feel about that… even though it is a sport, I’m not very fond of it. Needless to say, I directed my attention elsewhere and chose not to look at the pictures anymore. We sat for about 10 – 15 minutes until a waitress finally came over. We didn’t mind since we made small talk amongst ourselves to keep us busy. When we finally got our orders in, and the burgers came out, we were somewhat overwhelmed on the size of the burgers! I ordered the Caca Oaxaca and it was pretty damn good. The chorizo and avocado added so much flavor to the burger. The patty was also cooked perfectly. I for one, am a small lady, and though I cut my burger in half prior to eating, it was still a handful. My boyfriend on the other hand, inhaled his burger and ate the rest of mine! Needless to say, they were good burgers at an ideal size(it may be too big and messy for some lol).

I was looking forward to meeting up with my friend’s here and was a little let down to be honest. When we first arrived and walked in it was open seating. It was hard to find a table for 6 people on a Sunday at noon. We eventually squeezed into a high top with another couple, which was ok. We started off ordering the Cheese Fries Surprise. These were probably the highlight of my meal, but still ok. We snacked on the fries and sipped on some beer while we waited for our order. One thing I think is cool about Rodeo Goat is the rotating dueling burgers on the menu. I almost ordered one of these, but ended up going with the Whiskey Burger, which has Irish whiskey cheddar, candied bacon, blackberry compote, and whole grain mustard. The burger was dry and overcooked. I could barely taste the blackberry compote and the mustard grain was overwhelming. It was just not that great … and this was the consensus from the table. My husband got the same thing I did. I heard the veggie burger was meh at best and the chicken burger was ok. I noticed that when we were done they had started taking names because there was a wait … they should have done that earlier in my opinion. I would have rather waited 15 or 20 minutes to have a more comfortable table. I probably wouldn’t come back here as there are so many other options in Fort Worth and better burgers elsewhere.

What… has…happened to my favorite Fort Worth burger joint?! I never ever thought I’d experience warm beer and dry shrunken burgers from a Rodeo Goat, but that’s exactly what my whole group got today. Thank God the Steaming Pile was a delicious bowl of awesomeness with a perfect fried egg on top — this was the highlight of the whole experience. Has to be a fluke — I’ll be back and will add pictures of my findings. More to follow.

I’ve tried to like you Rodeo Goat. I really have. I’ve tried it three times now without ever writing a review because the cool thing to do is to like you, but today on my third try I have just resolved myself to the fact that I can’t. Don’t get me wrong. I’ll be back, but only for those delicious cheese fries surprise. Those are an amazing plate full of cheesy beefy goodness that no one should ever pass up on a visit. I’ve tried a couple of different burgers and it always seems the condiments like candied bacon, jam, and green chili chutney are the stars not the actual burger itself. The burgers don’t even cover the bun and are crumb worthy. This time I just wanted a burger. Just. A. Burger. No frills, nothing special. I wanted to see if the beef could be the star. It couldn’t. The first one was covered in bacon, mushrooms, and mayo. The waitress said it was the wrong order. The second was the wrong cheese and looked like something from McDonald’s. It was well done and I’d ordered a medium. At that point I just gave up. The manager really wanted me to take it home, but I just said no thanks. I also really wish they had a kids menu. A grilled cheese is ok, but man they could capitalize on a kids menu as many families bring their kids here. The steak salad is huge and the hubs loves it. Lots of goat cheese, ripe avocados, and veggies. The atmosphere is great and I love the craft beer selection, but I’ll go elsewhere for a burger. Those fries though, those are great.
