Tarrant County Southwest Sub-Courthouse

This place is hit and miss. First time I went to renew my car registration I was in and out within 10 min. There were 2 people in front of me and only one clerk. The following year I wasn’t so lucky. The waiting area was spilling over into the hall and out the door! I soon found out why: There weren’t enough clerks to handle the huge volume of people. Then, all of a sudden one of the clerks closed her window and left. We were left with three clerks. I should have left because my number was not even close to being called. I stayed put and after an hour in line, I was finally out. I’ll get my registration at Kroger or Tom Thumb this year. It’s not worth the time to go here.

This isn’t fun and neither are the wait lines, but it’s not bad even though I’m here at lunch time. There’s more than 1 or 2 lines open of 5 and the number tickets are better than standing in line. They accept credit card for a small charge, so it’s better than when I used to come in the past. 8 people have gone since I started this check in, sorry 10 now. Lol

Early voting, justice of the peace, vehicle registration, etc. Great to have this location so we don’t have to go downtown for so many things.
