Just had the young lady in the office go ballistic on me. I googled the Berkley and a majority of the reviews are about how rude the office staff is so this must be the norm. I love the fake reviews (people that have only written one review) about how nice the management staff is. Obviously this is an ongoing issue.
My daughter’s lease was up in December, they said she did not give written notice of 60 days so she is liable for 2 more months. I explained the lease was up at the end of December. The young lady with the Berkley lost it!
I hate big management companies that try and make extra money off disreputable business practices. I do feel sorry for the young lady as I think the management company is making her do their dirty work.
I would hate to be that young and so bitter about my job to behave that way.

The facility itself is very cozy. My roommate and I had a nice little two bedroom and had no major issues with the unit itself however, dealing with management was a constant pain. The turnover of the management and staff was almost continuous. Every time I called the front office whether the problem was minor or major, none of the staff/​managers knew what was going on. I repeatedly received the «oh we’ll take your number and get back to you on that.» response. Needless to say, I never got a call back for any of the issues I brought up and each time I would call again to follow up I received the same response. I feel as though after I signed my contract/​lease it didn’t matter to them whether I was satisfied as a resident or not. For these reasons, as well as the increase in rent, I decided not to renew my lease.
