The nail techs are pretty rude and have no personality. They’re really rude and bland. I enjoy some sort of conversation while sitting there for an hour, that’s why I chose an English speaking salon. They also are in a huge hurry and cut my cuticles EVERY SINGLE TIME. I’ve gotten my eyebrows done a few times and April is wonderful. This review is based off the nail techs.

I was in desperate need of a facial and the Hide Away was able to get me in for a same day appointment. Excellent service, easy to find, and affordable to boot. Highly recommend.

I have gone to the salon there 4 or 5 times. Always had a decent experience since it is more of a spa than a salon… until today. I was overcharged without warning by $ 40. I got the exact same service I have gotten for years at many different places across the country. And this salon was already on the high end at $ 120. And when I went to check out was told it was $ 160. Outrageous. The receipt clearly had it where it should be $ 120 with 2 over rides. When I asked for clarification they gave me some obviously made up justifications. I would not recommend this place AT ALL. If you go here make sure that the pricing is clearly negotiated beforehand.

2 weeks later and all of my lashes have fallen out and my hair looks like a bowl cut.

This place is my go to place when I really want to treat myself to luxury an relax. I’ve had manicures, pedicures, full body massages and facials here!!! I’m always feeling once I leave like I’m floating from being so taken away from their skilled work at really making you feel at ease an comfortable!!!
You can even book your own appointment online off there website. This Spa I should’ve left a review over a year or so ago. Been going here for about 2 – 3 years now!!! Amazing!!!

I’ve visited both locations and I absolutely love the Hideaway Salon and Spa! The staff is amazing and you cannot beat the prices. The new location in Benbrook is beautiful and relaxing, and the rooms were so comfortable. I’ve had a facial, body scrub, and massage and without reservation recommend all three. Cannot wait to return :)

Oh my goodness, I had an appointment at the Hideaway for the first time. I selfishly hesitated to leave a review because the quality is so high and the price is so reasonable AND they were able to fit me in within an hour of calling and I want to keep them all to myself.
My brow tech was April and she was amazing. She really took her time with me. Her technique didn’t hurt and she was so thorough, going back and plucking and trimming. And I’m really happy with how they turned out. She listened carefully to what I wanted and gave me exactly that.
Amanda did my pedicure. She, too, took her time. She’s the only person who has ever been able to pumice my feet without making me flail uncontrollably and laugh. She did a great job on the scrub and massage and the color is impeccable. It looks and feels like it’s going to hold up for awhile.
And my total? $ 44. For 90 minutes of spa treatments. Unbelievable. I will keep coming back!

Best place ever for a mani/​pedi and I’m super picky! Great staff and great atmosphere!

I love this place!
I have been searching for a hair stylist for 2 years that can listen to what I am telling her and will actually be able to make my hair come out as expected. Kristen is great! My hair is finally cooperating again because the cut is done well.
And the massage… oh the massage! Danielle is so detailed and pays attention to what you say is bothering you. Then, she switches up her approach depending on how your body reacts. I can actually feel the weight lifted off of me after her massage.
Don’t forget to order the raspberry tea – they put berries in it, too. :)

Today was my first visit and it will NOT be my last! I’ve had a hard time finding someone that I could trust (after having the same lady for 5 years) once I moved here! Well now my search is over!!! Whitney did an AWESOME job on my cut and color!!! Loved my whole experience here and I will definitely be returning!!!

Been looking for a REAL Novalash advanced certified extensionist who actually uses all of their products (not cheap substitutes), and I’ve found her! I’ve had Novalash extensions for nearly 3 years and couldn’t find a pro in DFW who did them right. Cynthia more than delivered! She was sweet, accommodating, professional, and did exactly what I wanted. So grateful to have found her! You won’t be disappointed, and it’s worth the drive to West Fort Worth!

I had a good experience with my facial and body wrap but a horrible experience with my Brazilian. I have been getting Brazilians done for a little over a decade so I know what to expect. I was lucky to leave with my vajayjay still attached. The girl literally took skin off in two different places, the wax they use is awful and was horribly sticky. I emailed them both my good and bad experiences with them but never got a response back and this was around a month ago. Its fine though, I found a new place that does an amazing job on waxings!

I was gifted the gift «pamper yourself» which includes a facial, massage, mani/​pedi (4hrs).
Let me just say… awesome!
First facial and Debra was great! A facial is way more involved than thought, let’s just say… I will have many more!
Second…massage, Sergio was perfect, not too hard and not too soft. 1 hour seemed more like 15 minutes!
Third and fourth… pedi and mani with Marcie! After having many mani/​pedis I first walked in the area and was kind of disappointed. They have regular chairs and soak your feet in movable tubs (which seems more sanitary anyways). But after sitting down with a glass of wine and Marcie working on my feet the chair suddenly became the most comfortable chair I sat in! She was fantastic! Perfect way to end the perfect day! I ended with a buffing on the nails (you know-​make them shupper shinny)! Lol lets just say, Marcie has been there almost 6 years (she knows what’s she’s doing!!) and if you have any special requests I’m sure they will do anything to make you happy!
Definitely recommend this place, I will be back!

I should start out by saying the staff, with the exception of the front desk staff, is amazing. I had a facial from April, massage from Danielle, pedicure (I didn’t catch her name), and hair cut by Kristen. They were all nice and very helpful. Danielle was by far my favorite. Very knowledgeable and great at what she does. If you need a massage, book her and you’ll be in good hands, literally.
I should have left today on cloud 9, but instead have been irritated all day about being overcharged. I booked my massage and called to ask if I could schedule a haircut at the end. There is an online price listed for a men’s trim, but women’s cuts also have a shampoo and styling for $ 35. I called to ask if I could just get the trim and not the others, and was told yes. It is supposed to be 60 minutes for the shampoo, trim and styling and I was told just the trim only would be about 20 minutes. That was all the time I had, so I was happy about it.
Low and behold, not BEFORE the service, but only after was I informed I would be charged the full amount. The front desk lady was very rude and could tell I was upset at this. She made no effort to make me happy and ensure I was a repeat customer by adjusting the price for services I had not received anyway. They didn’t have to perform the additional services, and I was also only there one fourth of the time for the whole service, so I was not taking business time or additional supplies. There was no justification to still charge me for additional services when I only wanted and only received one.
This was my second time at the spa and unfortunately, will be my last. It’s a shame because I would have loved more massages with Danielle and facials by April, but left with such a bad taste in my mouth, I will never return. Even adjusting my hair service price by $ 10 would have ensured hundreds of dollars of repeat business from me. I guess the front desk lady didn’t see it that way, and the full $ 35 was worth enough to lose a customer, in her opinion.

I had a wonderful experience here. The services I had were a facial, eyebrow wax, and permanent beauty mark.
The facial was very relaxing. My face felt very smooth afterwards.
The eyebrow wax was OK. I am used to having them plucked afterwards to get any extra strays but that wasn’t done.
I got a permanent beauty mark on my face to cover a scar. It was my first time and I enjoyed the experience. She was very informative and friendly. It was quick and painless.
Overall, I enjoyed every moment. I’ll definitely be back.

I had a good Day Spa experience here. Beautiful, professional, and clean.
Aaron gave the best Swedish massage I’ve ever had. He paid attention to the pressure I wanted and worked the areas I needed help with the most. He helped me with my breathing techniques to ensure the best results.
Rebecca gave a wonder facial. This was only my second facial ever! I will recommend her to everyone!
Quetta was such a fun nail tech! She gave me great advice and such a nice relaxing manicure and pedicure.
I loved how the staff pampers all the clients with the smallest details. The fruit and cheese tray was a nice touch, especially for a long spa day. The raspberry ice tea was delicious and refreshing!

I’ve had 4 deep tissue massages here and I have always had a great experience. The rooms have the ideal relaxing massage ambiance. I also got a haircut here. The salon was OK… not the best haircut I’ve ever had considering I ask for a simple trim, but it wasn’t bad/​worth complaining about either… just mediocre.
The only issue I have with this place is that its kind of pricey. I pay a little more because it’s close to home and I’ve always had a good experience there, but if another place were to come up that was a little cheaper and not too far away, I would consider it. I wish they would do a groupon though… ;)

After reading other reviews, I chose to go to this place and check it out. I’ve gotten many pedicures in a variety of establishments, so I know what I like and expect. I got the spa pedicure for $ 40, and while I liked my pedicure experience here, but I didn’t LOVE it. Let me tell you why.
Things I liked:
1. My technician. She was very sweet, and did a good job with the yucky parts of a pedicure (removing dead skin, etc), as well as giving my feet and calves a relaxing massage.
2. The exfoliator smelled amazing.
3. The paraffin wax was hot but tolerable, and did its job well.
4. The foot mask was nice, too.
5. The water basin was removable – they sanitized it in the sink rather than having it attached to piping that could lead to sanitizing issues.
6. The ambiance in the pedicure room was cozy and soothing.
Things I did NOT like:
1. The chair was very comfortable but NOT a massage chair. I was hoping for a back rub. Fail.
2. The greeting when I walked in the door was like I was a homeless beggar… I got a blank stare and sort of half of the attention of the lady who I think is the owner. I can’t think of why, but perhaps I wasn’t dressed up enough to get a pedicure?
3. Other clients had beverages in their hands… I was never offered a drink. Fail.
4. When I asked my technician if she did artwork on the big toes, and she didn’t get the hint that I wanted a flower. She said that wasn’t her forte, but another tech does good work… but didn’t offer to upgrade me. Fail.
5. I just inspected the paint job done on my toes, and noticed she didn’t paint over the tip/​edge of every nail… so I hope they don’t chip for a while. Ugh.
Overall, it was a decent experience, but I expected more for the price and the image they put on their website. I doubt I’ll go back.
