I can’t even describe the customer service I had at this salon. My hair cut was so bad I was asked by people if I cut it myself. I knew it was bad(I asked the stylist once to fix it when she was done noticing the hack job but it didn’t help) but didnt realize how bad until I came home and my husband took a picture. I had to spend $ 60 to get it fixed elsewhere. I went in to get a refund and the salon manager Deena gave me the WORST attitude(mind you i wasnt rude or yelling, i was calmly telling her my problem) while she gave me a hard time getting a refund. I told her initially I wasn’t in here to get the stylist in trouble but I was unhappy and would like my money back. I showed her and the hairstylist my picture and neither apologized and made me feel like I was in the wrong. Deena went on saying it was her job to fix it for free not someone else to do it and I should’ve came back(in a condescending voice). No way! There was enough damage done already to my hair. She finally gave me the receipt for the refund and goes«you can go up front for your money, my job here is done».wow! SOUNPROFESSIONAL !! The hairstylist KELSEY didn’t even apologize or own up to her mistake. I would never had written this review if it wasn’t for the poor attitudes when I returned. On another note, the store manager brandy was very helpful and apologetic from the beginning. They should be learning from her how to treat people.

First checked on Ulta website to see if they carried the brow brush I was looking for. They did. Online said this location had it in stock. I got help looking for the brow brush. I was informed to not rely on what their website says for anything in stock as the associates that work their cant either! I looked for the brush on Amazon and had it ordered and shipped the same day through prime. Lesson learned. I’m a MAC girl but their isn’t one close to where I live. I had hoped Ulta could be a back up. The associates are very friendly and helpful. I feel sorry them not having a well stocked store.

Ulta is my go-to store for beauty products, but the customer is never satisfactory. Every time I call this location it seems to ring for 5 minutes before anyone even answers the phone, which is definitely a nuisance. The one thing I absolutely love at this location is Cece at the Benefit Brow Bar. She is AMAZING in her work and is one of the nicest people you will meet. If it weren’t for cece I would honestly never go this location.

I feel like I should bring a blowup mattress for myself, I’m here every day after the gym. Associates are always asking if I need anything and ready to help. They have everything I need and more. I love their clearance aisle. They also carry brands like NYX, Revolution, TONYMOLY, and your usual high end stuff. I just love their huge selection of NYX products, soft matte is the way to go. AND I LOVEHOWTHEY’REGOINGTOSTARTCARRYINGTONYMOLYPRODUCTS. Korean beauty products are a wonderful thing to look into people!

I came in here to look for a product that they ended up not having… which is fine. No big deal. What was not fine was an older blonde woman, behind the register, looking at me and talking down to me like I was beneath her while redirecting me away to another store. Why do this to people? I don’t understand her attitude. I did nothing wrong to her!

I went into Ulta today to purchase a few things for my daughter and myself. I typically find that while they have far more selection than Sephora, they definitely do not have the level of customer service that Sephora does. That was never proven more than today ! I was browsing the hair color isle and a sales associate walked up to me and asked me if I was thinking of coloring my hair at home? I told her that I do color my hair at home. She then shook her head and said that it was bad for my hair. I told her that it really wasn’t that bad and that I’ve been doing it for years. She then proceeded to argue with me and told me that«oh yeah, it really IS bad and I usually recommend going to Sally’s Beauty supply because…» By this point I was tuning her out and just told her, «well okay but I really don’t agree» and she just walked away. Yep ! She literally walked up to a customer, told her that home color is bad, then told me to go somewhere else. Did I ask her opinion? Not at all ! Did she work in the salon? Don’t think so as she was walking around«helping» people in the store. My personal hair stylist has told me what to purchase at Sally’s. I’ve been dyeing my hair for over 15 years, I wash my hair twice weekly and I often get positive comments on my color, including from my hair stylist. I have a system and it works for me. Does this matter? Not at all ! and I didn’t bother saying any of this to the sales associate because frankly, Miss«Know It All» was out of line. I never asked her for help or for her opinion and I guess for some reason, she thought I needed it. About 10 minutes later, a rep for IT Cosmetics made a comment to me about how pretty my hair was and although I didn’t tell her what happened, I thought to myself, «what was that girls problem??» I regret not getting her name and mentioning the behavior to a manager. She really could use a bit of social grace training. There were two other sales associates that I did ask for help from and they were very nice. I would have given 4 stars if it were not for the«bad apple.»

Came in looking for falsies and a bronzer/highlighter. Although the false lash area was kind of a mess, I didn’t mind because it was BOGO50%. I was going to buy the Urban Decay flushed palette in «streak» BUT the cashier told me to try this other affordable dupe & so far I’m loving it! Most of the time workers try to get you to spend more money on name brand items and opt out in informing you that there are cheaper alternatives that give you the same result. She was super helpful and made my experience better :)

I was the only person waiting in line and stood there while the manager and 2 of the cashiers chatted with their backs to me. When the cashier finally acknowledged me I gave her my 3 items and showed her my coupon. She rang up the first 2 items then the 3rd didn’t have a price tag. I told her the price. She turned to the manager to ask what to do. She was told to go find another one. When she finally came back she had a different one that was more expensive. The manager then sent another girl to get one. All the while I’m standing there amazed that the manager didnt care about customer service enough to break away from her personal conversation to figure it out for me. When the 2nd girl came back with the right item my cashier finished ringing me up and I paid. I asked her if she used the coupon. She said no and that the transaction was complete. I told her that I showed it to her when I first stepped up. She just stared at me. I told her to just return everything. Then the manager decided to step up and take over. She did the refund. She didnt bother to apologize for the wait or the bad customer service. Then she had the audacity to tell me to have a nice day and come back soon. She had a smirk on her face the entire time. I have been an ulta customer for years — back when it was ulta3. I will never set foot in that store again. Management is terrible and it’s definitely trickling down to the associates. No one was around to help because they all clump up to have personal conversations and the store was a huge mess. Done. It’s strictly sephora for me now.

I got my hair cut by Sarah and she did an amazing job! I have had long hair for my entire life and finally decided to bite the bullet and cut it off, I needed a change! Sarah does a great job every time and I have been going to her for years! I really trust her to do a great job everytime! She has also given me highlights on a few occasions and they are always perfect! Go to her if you want an experienced stylist that does great work!

I lost over 10 inches of hair after going to this salon. Their master stylist, ruined my «freshest» hair at the top of my scalp. Months later, I am still having damaged hair cut out(I did not want to go bald – I wanted to keep as much hair as possible, no matter how damaged, for as long as possible). The presence of a large chemical burn line has been confirmed by two separate stylists who are not affiliated with Ulta, while Ulta’s salon manager claimed my hair was«fine» despite chunks missing and the presence of obvious damage.

I hate the new layout! I like the product selection and you can’t beat the sales but the newest layout is exhausting to navigate. I love Ulta and their return policy and they have the best deals on their product. If you plan on shopping the high-end they are a great place to go but do not bother for the drugstore side, the layout is by product type not brand. So ALL the eyeliner is together, no matter the brand! You cannot brows brands to find new products you have to know what you want going in.

My girlfriend drags me here all the time while she shops for make up and all I have is to wonder around for hours. I enjoy and work in customer service. These workers do not look it. Not one bit.

There are days I want to run a quick errand and come back home and chill without the need to take a whole hour to get ready for a simple task. Well there are few moments I’ve gotten excellent customer service at this ulta and it all depended on my looks. Yesterday was not the day I spent a whole hour getting ready to get a few make up items with coupons. The manager had the nerve to interrupt a cashier checking me out(all items scanned and was already scanning my coupons) and inform me that I can’t use a coupon while I asked a simple question. I’m pretty sure all of ultas workers are bad because of this women. I have no idea what I did to offend her but she probably has a problem with the way I looked because I did not say one word to her for her to be rude to me. I felt that I was being handled in a manner I did not deserve. I have never spoken to that lady before to be handled in a rude manner.

I hate to complain, but I received the worst coloring and salon experience of my life. I wanted to start phasing out my blonde highlights with blonde/light brown ombré. Then, everything that can go wrong DID go wrong. The ombré color was far too dark and it turned my ends(instead of my roots!) into a dark black. She made such a mess with the brown dye that I found spots of it staining the blonde in a way that made me look like I had leopard spots. To correct it, I asked that she make it all one color. Now, it’s at least five different shades: copper, black, brown, and GREEN! She asked me if I was on any medication that could turn my hair green. FORREAL?! Was it green before I came through the door? Nope. It’s going to cost me another $ 200 to get my hair stripped and fixed and I’m having to cut off six inches that were fried from the over-processing. The stylist’s name was Lori. And she was what Ulta considers a «master designer.»

The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. I was greeted and offered a couple suggestions at the door, but no one tried to oversell or hover around me. The place is MASSIVE. If you’re looking for any hair product, make-up, accessory, even sonicare toothbrushes are here. However…(!) Be warned: The products typically don’t come cheap, but that is the universal misfortune of beauty products, I can’t fault Ulta for that(although this is going to be priced higher in general them some smaller and/or lower end places such as Sally’s). If you have shopped at Sephora, that’s pretty much what it is like — but bigger! I spent way more than I should have… My only disappointment was that they don’t carry Bumble & Bumble, despite their huge selection. :)
