Dr. Chen is the best! I refer everyone I know to her if they ask for recommendations. I never had bad acne as a teenager, but I visited her almost 5 years ago, when I started to experience some adult acne. I had some deep blemishes and some smaller ones throughout areas of my face that never used to break out. As you can imagine, I was kind of freaking out… but I went to Dr. Chen and she worked her magic. Within days of her treatment, my skin started clearing up. I’ve stuck to her recommended skincare treatments since then and I’m very happy with the results.

I have been to Dr Chen’s many times now. Each time I have used her services for IPL and starting from the initial visit, Dr Chen was thorough in her explanations as to what the procedure would entail.
I also like the fact that Dr Chen did not tell me to come back sooner than needed for the next appointment and told me to wait a few months to see how I liked the results. I loved the results and subsequently, returned many times after.
I have heard that the facials here are incredible and am considering trying them here.
However, it’s almost time for the weather to cool down which means I am due for another session or two of IPL. Dr Chen is the only place I will go to because I’ve seen other IPLs done on some friends’ faces and it is definitely not what I’m looking for.
If you’re looking for a top-​notch dermatologist who isn’t going to up-​sell you and who isn’t there to sweet talk you, then Dr Chen is the perfect choice. She tells it like it is and won’t try to coax you into services you don’t need.

Dr. Chen’s office is very professional, clean and friendly. Appointments are easily made, and wait time is minimal. Both Dr. Chen and her staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I go monthly and am very happy with her office. I have recommended her to several of my family and friends!

I really liked Dr. Cindy Chen. After seeing her, I realized how bad my other dermatologist was. What I liked about Dr. Chen was that i got an appointment quickly, there was no real wait time, and she spent a lot of time with me. My other derm. would spend maybe 30 seconds with me, but Dr. Chen gave me a lot of time and attention. She was very professional yet caring. She took my fears/​concerns into consideration when she prescribed medication. I would definitely go to her again and would highly recommend her.

DO NOT GO to Dr Chen! COMPLETE SCAMMER! I recently moved here from L.A. and needed a dermatologist in the OC area. She was late seeing me even though there was no one else there and I was the first appointment. She did not even look at my skin and gave me the lowest dose of cortisone cream and told me to come back if it did not clear up. Later, I went to an AMAZING dermatologist named Dr. Rispler and when I showed him the medication he told me that was for infants and very mild and a scam so that I would have to come back again and again. I would never recommend her to anyone and will definitely never go back.

Let me start off by saying, I’ve been to a lot of Dermatologists and facial spa places for everything from microderms to prescription medication for acne. Dr. Cindy Chen is a graduate of USC, and is very professional and straight forward with her diagnosis. Her assistant Alicia is always beyond helpful and extremely sweet. If you are looking for a doctor who you can trust and is always available for appointments (I sometimes get her on the same day I book– for you know, those last second cortisone shots.), this is the place to go! :)

Dr. Chen is a great dermatologist. I have been very happy with her services. I am especially happy with their facials and their esthetician, Linda. She has been doing my facials for a couple of years now. She is thorough, gentle, and always answers my questions about skincare. I’ve recommended her to friends and look forward to many more facials from her.
