Woody is the best! Always prompt, courteous, and he loves dogs. He’s fixed more than one of my appliances, and he’s quick to diagnose the problem. His prices are very reasonable, and you’ll enjoy his company.

I have been using G & H Appliance since I moved to this house over 30 yrs. ago. Woody is the best! Friendly, knowledgeable & most of all the prices have always been more than fair. Once I called him to repair something that they didn’t do, can’t remember what, but I was so disappointed & had no idea who to call. He lets you know when it’s time to declare an appliance «dead,» rather than keep you calling in for repairs. You can’t go wrong using them.

We have been using G&H since we returned back to Orange County 1996. Washers, Dryers, Dishwashers! Oh My. He has fixed them all. All about supporting a family run business, the little guy. Yes, he has some mark up, but still cheaper than buying a brand new appliance! Nice people to deal with, prompt in calling back and keeping appointment times. I don’t have to wait days to have a tech come out and fix my appliance with parts ordered by customer service. (Sears warranty service, never again!).

My Frigidaire icemaker has never worked properly, I called Woody for advice and he diagnosed the problem as the freezer needing a smaller pizza shelf so that the icemaker arm wouldn’t brush up against the shelf and get wedged.
He ordered the new shelf for me and delivered it without even charging a service call, and the freezer has been making ice ever since!
G and H will definitely get all of my repair business in the future…

Had a problem with my refrigerator. Woody immediately identified the issue as a manufacturers defect. He told me he could spend time defrosting the ice but it would just come back again. He then apologized for not being able to help. I thanked him for his honesty. He even offered to stock everything back into the fridge. He took time to talk to me about the problem and how to get resolution through GE. He did not charge a service call. He even gave me some quick tips on my washer that has a mildew smell. If I ever have any appliance problem again, there is NO question who I will call. I will call G&H Appliance. If you want honesty, integrity, ethics, and good rates, call woody.

I have been using Woody for years. Always prompt, fixes everything every time. Besides Woody and Debbie are just very nice honest folks.
They are my go to service for any appliance repair. I just hope I don’t need them very often.
I had my dryer making a bad noise… Woody had the parts and fixed in within 30 minutes. Worth every penny.

I needed a new ignitor for my frigidaire oven and got a recommendation from a couple of family friends for g & h. I called and they were very friendly and could come out the next day. I have them my model number so they could order the part as well. I guess that was my mistake for not buying the part ahead of time. When Woody came out he charged me $ 66.90 for the part which sells for $ 26.99 on the Sears website and on Amazon for even less. When I asked him if he could help me out with the price (since the $ 110 service time for a 15 min repair was already outrageous), he gave me the old song-​and-​dance about how he doesn’t buy the ignitors in bulk and pays more for them and that he had to make a profit on the parts. Woody making a 60% margin made me feel like I was being robbed, but at that point, I would have had to pay $ 65 just for him to diagnose the problem, so I ended up giving him my $ 182 for parts and labor.

Nice guys. Came out quickly, they forgot to call to tell me when they were coming but I was so glad to see them. same day I called! It was $ 90 to replace a $ 20 fuse in maybe 5 mins. Seems pricey but they fixed it!

My six year old Maytag dishwasher wasn’t cleaning as well when it was younger. Woody came out and quickly diagnosed where the problem was and he was finished in an hour. It’s back cleaning like it was brand new. If you want honest service at a fair price — give them a call! I will definitely call them again when I need appliance help.

I just decided to have my oven fixed after attempting it myself and not being able to get it fixed. After searching yahoo and seeing their reviews, I called up G&H. Mrs Woody was very nice and got me slotted for the same morning. Woody showed up, asked a couple questions and had it working in less than 15 minutes. Very impressed. Very fair price and friendly service. I will be calling them again if i need service.

My old washer, Ethel, was on the fritz and no one knew what the problem was. Rather than spend a month looking for a new BLACK TOP-​LOADING (I hate those newfangled front loaders-​they creep me out) washer, Mr. K and I decided to call G&H.
Dr. Woody from G&H came out, was awesomely friendly and helpful, had a diagnosis (soap build-​up) and cure for Ethel pronto. 30 minutes, about $ 150, and some helpful tips to avoid this problem later, Ethel was up and back to her old self again. I’m cringing at the piles of laundry I have to do this weekend, but happy because my girl is fixed! Woot!

I actually enjoyed having my dishwasher handle break after four years new because I got to meet these great people at G & H Appliance ! I followed the advice from an earlier review and had my model number ready and was given my preferred appointment window time. Everything explained over the phone and upon arrival before the inspection so no surprises and after the repair it was explained how to better treat my dishwasher handle. That’s a bonus as I am never too old to learn new tricks! Thank you G & H Appliance for saving the day, my holiday party was great with no worries about the clean up…

This is a licensed family owned business (Woody and Deborah, Husband and Wife). The company has been around for over 40 years. They are very popular with loyal customers whom they have serviced for years and years.
Since they are so popular, it may be a little challenging to get an immediate appointment during the high seasons. However, they are very friendly and one of the only appliance companies in town that offer Saturday appointments.
Be ready with your appliance make, model and if possible the serial number. It makes it much easier for them to come in and quickly fix the problem. I had a washer that recently went out. After describing the situation and providing the information Woody showed up the next day with the exact part it needed and had my washer working within 30 minutes! He also evaluated the rest of the parts and provided recommendation for future maintenance, with no pressure!
They really do provide honest, reliable and personalized service for your appliance repair needs. Both Woody and Deborah are very nice people and I am a happy customer =)

Fastest service call I had seen. He was able to diagnose the dryer as broken blower wheel, had the part, and had it replaced and done in 15 – 20 minutes. Impressive. For the washer, he checked the belt, but turns out it was the coin spring. He cleaned it, got it working again in about 20 – 25 minutes. Took about 1 hours from start to finish. He charges $ 48.95 for the service call, $ 20/​half hour labor, + materials
