Got my uppipe installed here. Great set of guys. Professionally run shop. Nice waiting area too, they have a playstation and a couple of games to keep you busy while you wait.

Since December 2008 when i went in for my 1 clutch change, Great crew! January 2009 Tuned and awesome Power By Jon (aka:Jesus) LOL, Then the Full Motor Build and Turbo, And fresh new transmission rebuild! Pretty much the works for an entire 10months!!! Then the break in Tune December 2009 Once again did not disappoint! 0 communication Problems! Great Service! Great Tuner! Just an all around Best Shop! I highly highly recommend for any car really, But The Subaru community and Evo community AND the GTR Community Are all singing praise!!! Ask for Danny! Tell em Mo Money with the purple suby Sent you to get a can not be beat deal! WOOHOOO!

Jon is a bit hard to get a hold of because he’s busy tuning EVERYTHING He’s going places and I’m glad my car was tuned by him. Just wish I had my engine built by them, and didn’t cheap out and go to another shop. Because HB speed wouldn’t have messed up! Don’t worry I won’t make that mistake again.

Had my car tuned here a few weeks ago. Great job with my tune, cool guys, and plenty of things to keep you entertained in the waiting room. I had a chance to get my car on the track this weekend and it performed beautifully. I will be back here after I do some more mods on my car.

I drove up from San Diego to have HB Speed dyno tune my Stage 2 Subaru STi and I couldn’t be happier. The shop is awesome, and the guys working there seem to really know their stuff. Usually I hate having anyone other than myself work on my cars, but I wouldn’t hesitate to have HB Speed do installs, etc. Jon did an awesome job tuning the car on the dyno. It pulls harder and is MUCH smoother than the off-​the-​shelf Cobb map I had been running. I’ll definitely be going back to these guys in the future for more tuning after more mods!

HB SPEED is an awesome shop and after getting my car tuned there i can’ stop saying WOW! jon is a god at what he does. He’s known for his subie/​evo tunes but can tune almost anything that’ll let him tune. So far tuned my Honda and Nissan and WOW. just freakin WOW!
Great location, freindly people, waiting room has everything you need. Car mags, fridge with drinks and a nice flat screen tv to watch dvd’s. There’s also a window to watch your car being tuned or worked on. Perfect setup, can’t find anything negative to say.

Jebus (Jon) is a great tuner. He is very good at what he does and doesnt mind sitting there and explaining everything in laymans terms for you. Ive been there twice to tune my turbo s2000 (sigh, I miss that car) and had a wonderful experience both times.
I had to go back twice because the first time, I didnt have a boost controller. After I got tuned with one, My car ran perfect and thinking about it makes me regret selling the car.
His Fiancé’ and daughter are super friendly and play with the kids of customers, keeping them company. Yes, lots of families come here together lol. I guess its just THAT comfortable of an environment. She even bakes goodies every once in a while — lemon squares, peanut butter balls etc. Their waiting room is awesome, they even have video game systems in there for you.
The shop is big, bright and clean. The people are very friendly. The tunes and installs are great. I have recommended this place to many people, probably over 10 cars and every single one of them have had great experiences.

HB is awesome, Jon (jesus) is great, one of the best tuners around. good service and friendly staff. good prices. they stand by the work and do a great job. services include, DYNO tuning, repair and install of aftermarket and factory parts. as far asi know they work on SUBARU, MITSU, NISSAN. maybe more not sure.
