I’ve been taking my girls to Dr. Quy Kim for a few years now, and I have to say that she is an amazing pediatric dentist. She is always so kind and careful in her explanations, and she remembers all of their visits so well. I really like her as I feel she is incredibly bright, highly experienced, and genuinely caring about kids. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Her staff is also very professional and always so friendly. I cannot imagine why anyone would complain about consent forms as that is just standard procedure for all dentists/doctors. It is difficult to find a good pediatric dentist, and I’m just really glad I found Dr. Kim.

I’ve been taking my kids to Fountain Valley Children’s Dentistry for several years. The doctors are great! They clearly love and respect kids. The staff have always been kind, friendly, and respectful to myself and children. Cleanliness has never been an issue, and I have been to some dirty offices. I know that the consent forms are rather lengthy, but I appreciate that they are extra cautious. Which they should be! They are working with children. It is absolutely ridiculous that they are getting bad reviews about consent forms. Parents are allowed to visit or view the kids during treatment. They just don’t let you stay for the full duration. Which I completely understand! My kids, and I’m sure many other kids, tend to act out when I am around. It is just like school. When I drop them off, they cry, then they are completely fine when I leave. It’s a behavioral tactic! I have never had any problems with this office. They are very accommodating and provide you with all the possible scenarios before treatment. We were given the option for silver or white fillings, oral sedation or IV sedation. Besides the money difference, all the pros and cons were explained clearly and concisely so I can make the best possible judgement for my children. I would and have recommended Fountain Valley Children’s Dentistry to anyone with kids. They have been around for a long time and clearly know what they are doing.

So far, so good! I took my 2 year old in yesterday for his first dental visit. I was referred by a friend. The staff and doctor were all very accommodating and great! I felt more comfortable here than the other dental office I take my 2 other kids to. I will be switching them to this office!!!

Where to start, just don’t waste your time. First I made the appt and everything was great they took my son last minute. The day of the appt was a complete waste of time. They did not state over the phone that you the parent AREN’T allowed in the back during treatment, if they had done so I wouldn’t have wasted my time. I’ve never been to a dentist where I couldn’t see what they are doing to my son. Then in the initial forms to fill out you must sign a release that they may use restraints if your child is uncooperative. If my son doesn’t want to, don’t restrain him I’ll just reschedule and bill me. Nothing but shady business if you can’t see what they’re doing and they MAY or may not restrain your child with you not in there. I didn’t even let them take him to the back. Yea no thank you I’ll find another dentist.

My son had to be put under when he was ¾ years old to get a lot of dental work done. Dr. Kim did such an amazing job on him and he had no effects lingering from being put under and they kept coming out to tell me he was doing well during the procedure. Another dentist he saw afterwards actually complimented how great the work was and asked me which dentist I took him to! Now, my son is 9 years old and we have dental insurance again so he has been going to Dr. Kim for another year and we absolutely love her, the office and the staff. I feel very comfortable and confident with her. I highly recommend Dr. Kim!

Excellent Dr for kids. Yes billing is high esp if you do anesthesiology. She spent a great deal of time with us before we spent lots of money to make our son Peter comfortable to do a lot of cavities.

Dr. Quy was a great dentist. Both of my girls love her. However her medical billing person was a little Nazi and she was slow in printing out the itemized charges, made me waited for almost 1 hour. When I asked to speak with the dentist again over the phone to reassure about putting my 3 yr old kid to sleep with the anesthesia for the dental work, she refuse to take down the message. This is a Hugh procedure but I didn’t feel the receptionist has any empathy.
