Rocco’s Pizza

After going with Joey’s and Rocco’s it’s not even close. If you’re debating between the two Rocco’s wins every time. The service and quality are superior in every way..

What has changed?! The pizza no longer tastes delicious like it used to. I had to look for another pizza joint. It’s a shame because I really used to enjoy the pizza from here.

It’s not that is was bad, it just wasn’t my favorite. And was a bit on the expensive side. $ 37 for a large cheese and a large pepperoni pizza with 7 wings. I did not care for the wings at all. Ate one and threw the rest away. There are so many other options, I don’t think I’d eat here again. 8 of 100 challenge

Pizza is good, prices are better. I live close by and love that they deliver.

Every time I’ve gone to Rocco’s Pizza, the food has been fantastic and the service has been great. By all means take your taste buds to this place!

Delicious pizza and ready on time! Surprised some colleagues with pizza lunch 2 weeks ago and they are still talking about how fantastic the pizza was! Truly handmade– fresh– and just plain GOOD! Don’t judge the location– a strip mall– the product is high quality!

Ordered delivery. Very quick ordering since they had me in their system from a previous order. Price was $ 20 for an X-​large 2-​topping, so a little more than what is listed on their menu on Unilocal.However, I think it’s worth it. 30 minute delivery — it was hot and actually had a ton of pepperoni, whereas many places will say they are giving you double pepperoni but it doesn’t seem like it when you get it. The delivery guy was nice and reminded me about peppers and Parmesan, which I usually forget to ask for. I just moved to the area a month ago and this is now my go to pizza place.

First time at this place and I tried their Special. I loved it! Exactly the way I expected a good classic pizza!

Found this spot while looking for another pizza place, glad we stumbled upon it! Very friendly service, the pizza was so delicious and well put together. Not to mention we got a pretty good deal for a mini pizza and medium drink for only $ 7! We are very happy with our experience :)

I actually used to like this place, but over time it has slowly gotten worse. I used to go here every 2 weeks or so, and the service was good, the pizza tasty, and the prices affordable. But when I went today for the first time in over a month, it seemed like things were at an all time low. Their pos system was down, so we had to pay in cash. Then I went to fill up my drink, and there were no lids. Then I went to go wash my hands, and the bathroom had zero toilet paper, seat covers, or paper towels. Complete devoid of paper product. And then we got our pizza and it was underwhelming and burnt. Very sad to say I will not be returning.

I’m still new to Fountain Valley so this was the first pizza place I’ve tried.
The pizza in general was pretty good. Nothing special, just your «run of the mill» pie. I also got an order of wings to try those out and I wasn’t overly impressed. Seemed kinda like store bought frozen wings with generic buffalo sauce on them. Wouldn’t order wings again. The pizza I would get again unless I find somewhere else that blows me away.
The service was alright, I would rate them a ⁷⁄₁₀. They were humorous and friendly with me but it seemed to take a little longer them I am accustomed to and I was the only person in there. Food took about 20 minutes and I was the only order they were working on. I know pizza should only take about 7 – 8 minutes to make start to finish, same with the wings. But I won’t knock them too much on that.
Its just a good place for pizza but I am sure there are better places out there.

I have been here a few times before, and I don’t know why I keep coming back. Their pizza is good, not anything special, but their service is terrible. This is the second time I have problems when trying to order by phone. One time, they declined service due to them closing in 5 minutes. Why not close at 8:55 then? And now today, I ordered my food at 8:20pm and was promised it would be ready in 20 minutes. Here I am, 30
Minutes later ready to pick up my food and he said it will be 15 more minutes. This is just bad service. I understand that things happen and it gets busy, but why not communicate that it will not be at the time they promised and not give an attitude. I will not be returning to a place that gives bad service and I recommend you just save your time and go to round table pizza instead.

I went to Tuesday Morning today and noticed this little pizza place next door. I decided to pop in and check it out and boy I’m glad I did!
I tried a slice of their cheese pizza and it did not disappoint. My husband tried the pepperoni and let’s just say it was one of the best pizzas we’ve had. The temperature was perfect and the cheese was gooey. I’m not one to have pizza with nothing but cheese on it but I think it’s my new favorite.
The place is small and it was quiet only a couple of people were there eating but that’s understandable since it was past lunch time. I highly recommend this place, oh! their staff was friendly and the food was ready fairly quickly.
One thing I’d like to add is that when I asked what toppings were available on pizza you buy by the slice, I was told they can add any toppings for a few more cents per topping. :)

This pizza place is cozy and has been one of my favorite places to go for pizza.
It’s a neighborhood gem! Really good quality pizza. I recommend you to try it.

I can’t recall when the first time I had Rocco’s was but I’ve been hooked ever since.
I usually get their personal pizza lunch special. It comes with a mini pizza with your choice of 1 topping, a side salad, and a regular drink. I’m usually quite picky with my pizzas, I don’t eat it often so when I do I have a couple regular spots that I go to. Rocco’s Pizza has become one of them. I am a cheese connoisseur! The one thing that makes their pizzas stand out is the CHEESE. I don’t know what it is about their cheese but it’s what keeps me coming back. Their side salad is okay, there’s nothing too special about it. Again, I do like to pick the cheese they put on top of the salad as well… CHEESE…
Good place to try if you want you want to stray from the bigger pizza joints. The interior isn’t too big. They only have maybe 8 – 10 tables and 2 – 3 TVs that play sport stations for people who’d like to watch the game but not in huge groups. It’s a nice, cozy pizzeria.

I finally gave up on Cravings Pizzeria and thought I would give this place a try. I ordered the wings and BBQ Chicken Pizza.
First, the wings. Wings are supposed to be deep fried with just the skin and then sauced. I verified they did not have breading on them which is a good thing, but rather than frying they bake them. I was told they would still be crisp under the sauce, unfortunately they were not. The flavor was pretty good and they provided real Ranch dressing, but without the crispy skin they were lacking.
Second, and very bad news was the BBQ pizza. The rim was burnt and the center was soggy. This tells me the oven was way too hot for it to cook completely without burning and even then the crust was not crispy on the bottom. I don’t know how they managed that. There was very little chicken, I guess they made up for it with so much cheese that it created a gluey mess that literally ran off the pizza when you pulled a piece out. All that cheese overwhelmed the very bland BBQ sauce and made it taste almost non-​existent even though there was plenty on top. It looked like strawberry swirl ice cream because of all the cheese and sauce. Yuck. Normally, you put thin sliced red onions on this type of pizza, they put diced white. Also, this type of pizza is usually done on a thin crust, whereas this was very thick which would account for it not cooking completely under all that cheese.
I definitely would not order this particular pizza again and doubt I will order anything because of this experience. The only thing they have going for them is the gluten-​free pizza which my boyfriend might want to try but the price is ridiculous as are all of their pizza prices.
I shall keep hunting for a decent pizza in Huntington Beach within delivery distance. Wish me well in my endeavor.

I was craving pizza one day, and went onto Unilocal to do some research. I was looking specifically for pizza by the slice or a personal pizza which led me here.
The price was very good for a slice of pizza plus extra depending on how many toppings you wanted. I picked sausage, mushrooms, and black olives.
The pizza itself was not all that great. The pizza is precooked and reheated. I could see the extra cheese that was sprinkled on. Anyway, I was not very impressed. The girl cashier that was helping was friendly.

One word: YUMMY!
Me & Alexis B. are big pizza lovers, especially when you can buy it by the slice! Rocco’s goes above and beyond because you can customize your slice of pizza! You can add up to 5 toppings!
We frequent Kawaii Bakery ALOT but never even thought twice about trying this place! We were in the area and were starving for a good snack! They made our pizza literally fresh out the oven and it was soooo GOOD!!!
We both got pepperoni and cheese and it was so OOEY & GOOEY and DELICIOUS!!!
I loved every bite of it! Alexis loved it so much she finished hers before I did!
The guy (not sure of he was the owner or manager) but he was friendly and made a good first impression!
Their menu looks sooo good and we can’t wait to come back to try other items!

Finally I gave this place a shot with my baby sister. It’s weird whenever my mom is in the hospital and my sister and I are severely hungry, we always get a slice somewhere lol. So we came in and saw folks getting their maaaaaaaad grub on which to me is a good sign because no one was saying shit through out their meals. They stayed focused on the food: D I love how you can add any topping to a slice. Usually places that serve by the slice only have cheese or pepperoni on deck and you’d be lucky to get a sausage slice!
Rachel and I ordered classic pepperoni slices. They were just making a fresh pizza for slices, so we lucked out with a VERY fresh pizza slice. Your slice comes on a cute little pizza pan which is smart because I love melted cheese oozing off my slice but I hate when it sticks to those thin white paper plates. This is a smart idea since I can scrape off the oozing cheese and enjoy. These are thick slices but not super doughy. I like my pizza in between. The crust and the bottom had a nice crunch. Man do I love a cheesy pizza ! A good amount of pepperonis as well. My sister loved her slice just as much as I did!
I can’t wait to get a whole pizza and try that chicken pesto pizza, that one is callin my name!!!

Impressed on my first visit! Not easily done… but, Rocco’s makes the grade! We originally came to check out a dim sum place next door and didn’t like what we saw so we decided to have lunch at Rocco’s and I’m very impressed! handmade dough is light, and crispy on the outside… golden brown and really good. Order the garlic cheese loaf… you will not be disappointed! I had a mini pizza and we also ordered the buffalo wings. the mini pizza was awesome and all the ingredients seemed fresh and tasty… nothing frozen here. The wings were tasty, very much buffalo in flavor, and tender/​juicy.
Small dining room… perhaps most of their business is take out? Whatever the reason… do yourself a favor and check this place out!!!
