Our specialized Little Ninjas program offers an age-​specific curriculum that has been professionally designed to teach children life skills in a fun, exciting, and enriching manner. Bring in your child today for a FREE group lesson and evaluation.

Adults can choose between the traditional training plan or an accelerated program using private instruction to achieve their martial art goals.

History

Established in 1991.

Stephen Amsler, 7th Dan — World Taekwondo Federation, has been professionally teaching Taekwondo in Orange County, CA for over 23 years.

School’s Mission Statement:

«We will provide our students with a safe and encouraging environment to obtain optimum physical fitness while cultivating an exceptional attitude through the study of martial arts».

In addition to Stephen Amsler’s Martial Art Center in Fountain Valley, he teaches Taekwondo for P.E. credit at the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) located in Santa Ana. He has been instructing 7th-​12th grade OCSA students for fifteen years.

Master Amsler provides all of his students with a Taekwondo Curriculum Book and DVD so that students can train at home as well as in class. Our qualified Black Belt instructors are energetic and outgoing and continue to upgrade their skills. Our school has a sincere interest in helping each student reach their physical and mental goals.

Business Owner

Stephen Amsler began his Taekwondo training with Master Suk Chung at Harvard Square in 1979 and then moved to O.C. in 1982 where he studied for eleven years with Grand Master Chang Jin Kang.

In 1991, he acquired G. M. Kang’s school in Santa Ana and then preceded to open the Stephen Amsler’s Martial Art Center in Fountain Valley four years later. He was appointed Taekwondo Director of the California State Games held in Anaheim in 1995.

Amsler competed in the USTU National Taekwondo Championships, and received Bronze in 1997 and Gold in 1999 in Form competition. He also travelled to Seoul, Korea in 1998 to complete the «First Foreigner Instructor’s Training Course.»

In 2003, Master Amsler tested for his 6th Dan by G. M. Kang and Supreme G. M. Byung Jick Ro at Concordia University in Irvine, CA.

Recently, in October of 2013, he completed the Los Angeles Kukkiwon Poomsae Forum in Torrance, CA where he tested for his 7th Dan by 1st Class Kukkiwon Instructor, G. M. Tony Vohra.
