Dr Nguyen is a fantastic surgeon. I appreciated the time and care he took during my consultation. I came in for breast augmentation surgery and I absolutely love the results. There were no complications and I felt little pain. I felt like my normal self after a few days. The anesthesiologist Dr. Montoya was such a professional and very sweet and the rest of his staff was amazing. Such a great experience, thank you!

I got a breast augmentation done by Doctor Thuan Nguyen and he did a fantastic job. He walked me through the process during the consultation, helped me pick a size that would look proportional to my body type. Naturally, my boobs sit further apart than most due to my wise chest bone, I initially thought this would make my boobs look too round and fa but now with months passed from surgery, I love how how natural they look and feel now.
Everyone in the office was very professional, leading me through every step and explaining things thoroughly so I wouldn’t be questioning what they were doing.
The procedure was quick and easy (at least on my end) one moment I’m laying on the surgical bed, hearing the anesthesiologist count down from 10, she got to 7 before I knocked out, woke up and the surgery was finished.
I couldn’t be more happy with my results and I highly recommend going to this office if you are looking to get any plastic surgery done. They did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable and knew how to take care of myself while in the healing process.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nguyen since 2009, when I had my original breast augmentation done. I just recently went back to have my implants switched from saline to silicone. Although my body has not been the kindest at accepting implants Dr. Nguyen has always remained optimistic and patient. His techniques are very meticulous, because of that my healing time is minimal, with very little pain, and although I have had more than one surgery the scars are hardly visable. He and his entire staff always have and continue to go above and beyond to insure my comfort, both physically and mentally. They have worked with me on every level. He is a very kind and compassionate Doctor, and his staff is equally as wonderful. I will continue to both recommend and be a patient of Dr. Nguyen.

I just did a surgery with Dr. Thomas Nguyen. I really regret it as I see the results is not the way my goal want. And the way he talked to me before I did the surgery doesn’t really make me happy from the beginning. I really wanted to cancel my procedure but it was half way already so i just went with it. When i talked to him what i want for my shape to be, his answer is «we don’t make a perfect shape here. Nobody’s perfect. I do what i can but it will look natural, can’t be the way you want». Then what is the plastic surgery for then, if it’s not to make your face to look more perfect??? The only thing i was thinking is because he said it will just going to look natural so i just go with it and want to see the result. But he is not going for what you requested. Only the way he can do. Not for what you want. I suggested don’t go to this doctor for your plastic surgery! He is not a good doctor. Someday he will get what he did bad in life, he can get sue anytime by now for treating patients not in a way they supposed to be treated.

In June I had a breast augmentation done here. The result came out completely unnatural and there is a deformity on both breasts whenever I use my arm or chest muscle, even just slightly. When I went in for my 3 month follow up, not only did I have to wait 2 hours past my set appointment time to see Mr Nguyen; when I expressed my discomfort and stress about the deformity he had left on my breasts, he replied with «that’s normal, see you at your 1 year appointment». I’ve seen him 3 times since my surgery and have spent less than 5 minutes with him with all 3 times. The good part about this place is one of the women who worked at the front desk, I believe her name was Renada, she was the only Hispanic woman working there at the time. She was the only person who was comforting and gave good advice about everything regarding my surgery, I only wish I was advised to go elsewhere. I am hoping that others think twice before considering Mr Nguyen to operate on them, I cannot possibly afford another surgery to correct what he has done to me, but when I do I certainly will stay far away from this place. Shame on you, fake surgeon.

Dr. Nguyen was my surgeon for reconstructive surgery related to cancer treatment.
He took, what was a horrible situation (cancer), and made it less so with his upbeat and hopeful outlook. I am extremely happy with my results. I would dare say I’m happier with my physique now than I was prior to my illness. Dr. Nguyen, and his staff, answered all of my queries with respect and always made sure I understood exactly what was happening each step of the way.
Should I ever have to go through this again, Dr. Nguyen would be a member of my medical team in a heartbeat.

This was the worst surgical experience I have ever had. Dr Nguyen promises one thing and gives you another. I went in 3 months ago for a breast lift with implant and Flank removal. Dr. Nguyen was very aware of my left breast being 2 cup sizes larger than my right. I have always been very self consious about that and explained to him that i wasn’t looking for perfection. I wanted them to look natural and be closer in size. He really made me believe that all this was possible but after the surgery was done and all the swelling was gone BIG PROBLEM. The left breast is still much larger than the right. Way worst now than it was before the surgery, The onIy difference now is that they are lifted. My right breast is 2.5inches higher a 2 inches width smaller. I payed 12k for scars nothing more. Every morning I have to look at myself and cry. I went back to see Dr. Nguyen and he said he would fix them, informed me that the implant was to small and he didn’t make the pocket big enough for it to settle into. I said ok great it can be fixed, then they give me a bill for almost the same cost I payed already. My heart dropped. I already payed so much and this Is Dr. Nguyens mistake for giving me an implant that was to small and not properly placing it, why do i have to pay for proceedure all over again? Im looking for another surgeon now to fix this. DO NOT GO HERE.

I had breast augmentation years ago and i loved how i was treated there they took very good care of me and plan to go back in the near future.

2 breast augs. I got saline many years ago. Dr nguyen did an excellent job. .I literally had no scar.. About 8 years later 1 side leaked. I was still under 10 year warranty.. Let’s be honest with the review below– leakage has to do with the manufacturer of the implant. and it is covered under warranty.. So you can’t blame the doctor for that.. I was able to get booked that same week and because I wanted to go larger (from 34d to 34e) I had dr. Nguyen do both breasts. I’m now going on 3 years from my 2^nd surgery and I have NO visible scars.. He was able to go over the same 1″ hair line incision both times around the bottom of my areola. I have full sensation and my skin is smooth, my incision sight is invisible. .
I highly recommend him. The staff is also friendly and wonderful.. And you can see an example of his great work on the beautiful ladies that work there as well.

Dr. Nguyen and the staff at ICRS are very friendly and professional. The consultation process was very thorough. They addressed all my questions with much patience and really made me feel at ease. I am very happy with the results. I look and feel younger! Mission accomplished! Thank you, Dr. Nguyen!

Made an appointment @ 1130, came in extra early thinking I’d be called asap. But nope, made me wait 20 minutes/​longer. I mean, I understand if they’re busy and all, but what’s the point on making an appointment when you get called in the same time as a first time walk-​in. I have a life, I’m also busy. not just them. No point making appointments here.

I went in to see Dr. Nguyen for a Brest augmentation. Before I saw Dr. Nguyen I went to 2 other doctors. The first doctor in Newport Beach didn’t see me his nurse did. And didn’t take measurements or talk about the kind of implant I wanted. She was rushing me to schedule an appointment to get my Brest augmentation done. Even though I never saw a doctor. The second doctor I went to only sat and talked to me for 5 mins. Then my friend told me about Dr. Nguyen so I made my appointment to see him. When I went into his office Kendra was so nice and welcoming! Then I met with Dr Nguyen he sat down talked to me about different implants he has and what would work best with my body. He also took measurements and let me try on the implants with a bra they provided. He made me feel so comfortable. I called him back for a second consult. That’s when I decided I was going to get my Brest augmentation done by Dr Nguyen. His post op he provide me with all the information that I needed and was super helpful with all the questions I had. I had my surgery done January 22, 2014. That day Alexis txted me and asked how I was feeling. I have never met a assistant Who checks on their patients to make sure that they’re okay. She txted me every other day asking how I am doing till my check up a week after my surgery. She is very caring about her patients! That’s what I love about Dr Nguyen, Alexis and his staff!!! Now 6 months after my surgery my scares are almost gone and I am in love with my Brest perfect size and they look so natural!!! I am about 5’4 weigh about 120, I was 32b and now I’m a 32dd. I went with 475cc silicon implant high profile. And they don’t look big I thought I would be huge cause the implant looked so big they are so proportionate to my body. I’m so happy with my result and I picked the perfect doctor!!! I would recommend Dr Nguyen to anyone!!!

I went in around July 2011 and got a breast augmentation, before that i went to several doctors to get consultations but i felt comfortable with Dr Nguyen and my breast aug. came out excellent everybody in his office after surgery was very helpful and he recommended a good size for me and looks very natural very pleased !!! very good price :)

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had gone to Dr. Nguyen because a friend that worked there had referred me and one of our friends. She already had her surgery so we decided to use him too.
A few years after surgery all of us had to go back because all 3 of us had leakage in our saline implants.
Dr. Nguyen convinced us all that silicone implants would be the way to go to prevent leakage ever again. Isn’t that strange that all 3 of us had leakage and now he was up selling us to get silicone implants?
I agreed to get the silicone implants, but I also wanted him to fix my pockets because they were set too low. Dr. Nguyen said that wouldn’t be a problem at all. After surgery I recovered for 2 weeks. It was the most painful surgery and process ever and he didn’t even prescribe me with any pain killers. I had to endure the most painful experience of my life without pain killers!!!
After I went in for a check up, I noticed that there were huge scars that he left without even telling me where he was putting the incisions. I thought it would of been the same place that the first incision that he made was. If he had told me that it would leave these awful scars I wouldn’t of done it!!! I asked him about the scars he just said they will heal up and you won’t be able to notice it. They are huge and absolutely noticeable still!!! It’s a cosmetic procedure and we do it for cosmetic reasons. Now I’m stuck with these horrible scars to remind me of the butcher job that Dr. Nguyen had done. I’m mortified and would never suggest anyone to go to him for any procedures at all!!!

Dr. Nguyen and his staff are absolutely wonderful. This is the second surgery he has performed on me. The first one was a tummy tuck in 2006 and on Nov 1, 2013 a facelift. He delivers every time what he promises: the best a plastic surgery can offer: he is such an «artist», he gives you back the youth you desire, and in both surgeries, I bounced back so quickly and with very minimal pain. His staff is very pleasant to deal with not to mention, very reassuring before the surgery, and after the surgery. The office is very clean and pleasant: when I first came to his office, this is one thing which I noticed and which gave me a good feeling about his facility: the cleanliness of the surroundings. If you want to have a cosmetic procedure, no matter how far you live, drive as far as you need and go to Dr. Nguyen, because you will be so happy with the results. I wish I could add a picture of before and after of my facelift, so that you could see for yourself… absolutely a masterpiece.

Dr. Nguyen and staff were every kind and professional. I had a tummy tuck, lipo and arm lift. Everything went fantastic. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen and staff. I am so happy with my results.

Dr. Nguyen & his staff took great care of me throughout my procedure. All my pre op & post op visits were highly informative & I’m very happy I chose him as my doctor. He listened to what I wanted & offered advice as to what would look best. My recovery was painful but it was worth it & my scarring is very minimal. I would definitely recommend him for your practice surgery needs!
