La Quinta Inn & Suites Fowler

Whenever we visit Fresno County we stay at this hotel because they are the only pet — friendly hotel. You would never know they allow pets because the hotel is kept up very well. They are also great on customer service. Friendly front desk clerks. The room itself never disappoints, very clean and tidy. The prices are pretty good too. Nice continental breakfast and amenities. We came on Halloween night and they even offered us candy!

This hotel is very clean and well maintained. It looks like it’s just a few years old. Management and staff were friendly and very helpful. Denny’s, McDonald’s, Carl’s Jr, and Starbucks nearby.

**Spa was freezing, lights in pool and spa were broken, and sofa bed was really hard… We’ve been on the road three months with our 8 year old daughter and a two pound yorkie. We were on our last night before going home and wanted a nicer hotel with a pool and hot tub. I had been using priceline throughout our trip but decided to go directly to la Quinta’s website to insure we had a pool/​spa even at a higher rate. The hotel was very nice and new. The room was great and the service friendly. The hotel is also dog friendly.
I only gave it two stars because the sofa bed was wafer thin-​hard as a rock and when we got down to the pool area it was very dark and a little creepy. I went in to see if they could turn the lights on outside as well as the underwater lights and the guy working came out but could not get them on. There was a small light on the wall that flickered off and on for a while. Our daughter was desperate to swim so decided to try anyway. The pool was very cold so after a shocking leap in she decided to try the spa. It was cold as well. The air blowers worked but after 30 minutes the spa had not heated at all. My husband went in to see if they could turn it on and the employee said it had been broken all week. If we had known that we would have gone elsewhere. Such a bummer.

Very nice place to stay! We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel was very clean, nicely decorated and had much more then what was expected. Was very impressed! Rooms were great and location, (being right off the fwy plus offering a free breakfast), sealed the deal! Would definitely stay there again!

We checked in after midnight, but the young man at the front desk was pleasant and ready to help! Our room was exactly what we had asked for, and was one of the cleanest I have experienced in quite a while. We had no problems with the wifi-​connected immediately and was reasonably fast. I will definitely stay here again.

Amazing! Friendly staff, great clean accommodations, and excellent rates. Plus, it’s conveniently located right next to food and freeway. AND I got a Jacuzzi tub right next to my bed! I couldn’t be happier.
If I’m ever in the area, I’m not shopping around for a hotel (like I always do) I’m coming here. :)

I’ve always stayed here in the past for 2 – 3 nights. This location is new and renovated compared to other la quinta. I would recommend staying here it’s quiet, clean, affordable. Carl’s and Denys in the same parking lot makes getting food easy! Right new to the freeway entrance and exit.

I’ve live in the area but I’ve stayed here on several occasions and I automatically suggest it to visiting family and friends. We originally started going here because they’re the only hotel in the immediate area that allows animals (that I know of), but we’ve had pretty good experiences here so this is still our go to. In fact, I’m here right now using it as part of a staycation.
The front desk staff is always super friendly and accommodating.
My only, minor, grievance is with the cleaning staff. There’s been several times check ins didn’t happen on time because cleaning staff had yet to/​were still cleaning a room and had no appearent since of urgancy. Not a HUGE deal but is very off putting when you’ve just drive up from SoCal and want nothing more than to shower and sleep. I’d also suggest checking the mini fridge and microwave because on more than one occasion we’ve found rotting food in one or the other. Again, not a huge deal but a tiny detail makes a huge difference.

Great place! Decent rates. Quality rooms and first class service. Deducted one star for no water in the workout room. I will be back.

There’s a pool, patio, WAFFLE MAKER, fitness room, reasonable vending machine snacks and drinks price. Very nice lobby. SLOW AND DCING WIFI. Nice big TV with limited cable channels.
Service was a delight. Nice air conditioned room. (Found NO bed bugs). Very clean place as well. Beds were comfy. Stayed for a night but it was a nice experience. Would stay here again however, not much of a fan of the surround area haha.

We stayed at this hotel on a Saturday night after a pre-​wedding party in Fowler. The hotel is very clean and new. The rooms are nice and spacious. We had two beds in the room (Queen size beds). The beds were very comfortable.
I take a star-​off the rating because the room service was not good. We either waited for a long time when we needed a pillow or did not get a towel after requesting it from the front-​desk/​housekeeping. I think this was primarily because they only have one person taking care of customer requests and that person also happens to be the front-​desk receptionist/​manager.
We had free breakfast in the morning. The orange juice was delicious. Breakfast items included cereal, small bagels with cream cheese, bananas, a waffle mix with the waffle machine, orange juice, apple juice, sausage, and eggs. I thought the breakfast as ok. That’s fine because it was free!

A last minute trip turned into a unexpected overnight stay. And I was glad this hotel had a vacancy. The hotel is very nice, clean and staff was very accommodating. The room was spacious and included plenty of extra seating, a mini fridge, and microwave. The pillow-​top bed was incredibly comfortable! The free breakfast was excellent. And it’s pet-​friendly! There is a Starbucks and Carl’s Jr right there, and a few blocks down is a great little Mexican restaurant that offers 20% discount if you show your room key. Can’t beat that!
This is a great hotel for a great price. I would definitely stay there again, and recommend them highly!

This hotel was clean and modern. The staff who checked me in and out were both very pleasant. The wi-​fi was decent, and the room’s TV was good. The bathroom seems a little small but that’s fine with me. Free breakfast in the morning was overall good. I’d definitely stay here again.

My family and I stayed her while in a nearby town for a wedding. We arrived earlier than expected so I called the hotel to ask if there was a way we could check in before 3:00. The lady who answered the phone was so nice and friendly and not only said we could check in early but also asked me where I wanted my room.
We arrived and were impressed by how nice and clean the place is. Rooms are a good size and you can’t beat having DirecTv. Its not a huge hotel but is fairly new so you don’t have to worry about ugly carpet stains or weird smelling rooms.
Rates are good and if you have AAA discount they’re even better.
It is conveniently located right off the fwy and even though we stayed on the 1^st floor we had no issue with freeway noise. Like none! There’s a Starbucks, McDonald’s, gas stations and other fast food places within walking distance which was also really nice. Free breakfast is standard but delicious nonetheless. I’d definitely stay here again and La Quinta hotels has a new fan.

When i’m in the Central Valley to perform this is one of my favorite places to stay. Excellent customer service, excellent rooms and super comfy king sized bed for your king sized dreams. Oh and the complimentary breakfast in the morning satisfies my inner fat guy. If you stay here tell them I sent you!

Well I got a free night in La Quinta through their rewards program and elected to stay in Fowler. Just a few miles from Fresno. This is a brand new Hotel and just next to the 99 freeway.
Very friendly staff and beautiful new rooms,
I will have to come back here again. I like this place.
There is free internet and direct TV on a flat screen.
Fowler is a farming town located in the fruit basket of USA. Surrounded by grapevines and almond farms.

We love it here! We stayed on our way up to Kings Canyon over Memorial weekend. As always we choose La Quinta because we can bring our dog ;)
The place was great as always! And the staff was very accommodating!
Part way through our trip there was a storm, we called La Quinta, and we were able to secure a last minute room for one night, and ended up staying 2 more! ;). We will definitely come back to the La Quinta in Fowler!

Lovely hotel and room… A little on the pricey side, esp. given the out of the way location at $ 96/​night for twin queen beds.
The pool and hot tub were great.
The breakfast was excellent: waffles, scrambled eggs, toast, sausage, cereal, coffee, tea, fruit juice… pretty much everything you’d expect and more.
Internet was good.

This La Quinta is a few miles south of Fresno in a sleepy farming town. There is absolutely nothing to do or see here, but they have a couple of fast food outlets if you’re hungry.
The hotel is newer and has all of the typical LQ amenities such as comfortable beds, free wi-​fi in the rooms, free breakfast, and a small swimming pool and business center. It is also pet friendly.
There are a few negatives… Parts of the rooms and public spaces are looking a bit worn for such a new building, and the first room they gave me had a broken air conditioner and a non-​working telephone. Maintenance is lacking, I think
They also have a strange system for the front desk. There is never anyone to help you, but if you pick up a phone on the counter, someone will eventually come out from the back to assist. I found it very odd that, even though there’s a camera where they can obviously see there is someone waiting, they force customers to «call» them. What are they doing back there?
Overall, though, a good place to stay in the area. If you don’t mind driving a few extra miles from Fresno, the nightly rate is inexpensive
