All About You Salon and Day Spa

I just spent the entire day here and couldn’t wait to get home and write a review. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews because of such a busy schedule, but I had to share my amazing experience. My husband surprised me with the All About You Experience package, looked around at reviews and decided to book the spa day here unbeknownst to me and I could not be more grateful that he did. I stopped going to massage therapists a while ago because I was tired of spending money only to be consistently disappointed, well that couldn’t be farther from the experience I had today with Jen N. I suffer from chronic pain/​fibromyalgia etc and I left both the massage and facial with Jen feeling like I just traded my body for a 20 year younger model! And then I had the mani/​pedi with Lori (spelling?) who’s been with them for a couple months after leaving another spa and boy did they luck out with this one! I can’t remember the last time I left a nail salon as happy with the quality of pedicure and services as I did today, if ever. I have acrylic nails on and was in dire need of a fill which Lori doesn’t do but that’s not something my husband wouldve known to ask, and I didn’t mind doing the mani anyway, but she actually buffed and colored my nails so beautifully that I no longer need a fill and the other girls couldn’t even tell I had on acrylics! Not only did I receive absolute top quality services from these two amazing women, I had hours of meaningful conversation with two beautiful souls. The staff and front desk (I can’t for the life of me remember her name I’m so sorry, maybe Kristen I saw it on my receipt) they were all so nice and accommodating, and the lunch provided was delicious. I won’t get into detail, but it’s been a tough year, loss of family etc. on top of everyday stress and I have not felt this relaxed and fulfilled in quite some time. My heart is so happy that I was given the opportunity to meet such wonderful people. The spa itself is gorgeous, the owner clearly knows exactly what she is doing with everything from staff to décor etc. I can’t wait to come back and I will not be going anywhere else despite the 35 minute drive. Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart, I needed this day.

My experience here was mixed. I received great service from the woman who did my facial, Kelly. She was very thorough and did a great job on my custom facial.
The bad part of my experience was in the check out process. I presented some spa week gift cards that I had. After presenting them I was told I could have presented them before the service so I didn’t have to wait for them to be validated. I told them I was in no rush, which I wasn’t. I figured I’d look around the store for a few minutes while they were validating the cards. A few minutes later they told me I was all set and I left.
40 minutes after I left the salon I received a phone call but missed the call. The person called me back stating that my gift cards were invalid and they needed me to call back to pay with a credit card over the phone. I called back and stated that I had called prior to booking my appointment to check the balances on the cards. The woman told me I probably redeemed the cards instead of checked the balances. I know I hadn’t, considering there are two phone numbers to call, one for customers and one for merchants. She then asked for credit card payment. I told her I wanted the phone number and gift card numbers to find out what had happened. I also expressed my frustration, because I should not have been told that I was «All Set» at the salon if I was not. I was absolutely in no way rushing them or expressing dissatisfaction. She told me they didn’t want to make me wait.
I then called the number I was given and spoke to a representative. They stated the gift cards I had were not theirs, they are spafinder, which is different from spa week. I called the salon back to tell them. She said they call the number for all types of gift cards all the time. I reiterated that the person I just spoke to said they are not affiliated, which is why the gift cards were coming up invalid. She said she would look into it.
In the mean time, I went on spa weeks website. I saw the customer number and the partner number. I called the customer number and checked the balances on my cards again, there were 3 cards each with a $ 25 balance. I then called the partner number where it prompted me to enter my salon phone number to redeem gift cards. Obviously I didn’t do that as I am not a salon, but that showed that I could not have validated my own gift cards.
After 30 minutes the salon called back and said they figured it out. They again told me I should have given them the cards ahead of time. She stated «I wouldn’t want to wait after a relaxing service». The reality is, I was in no rush. However now my relaxing service is null and void because I spent over an hour of my time trying to solve a problem that was not really a problem. The salon made a mistake by calling the wrong company and instead of researching the problem put the blame on me as the customer and wanted payment. I work in customer service and the first rule is that you take care of the customer, not place blame on them and not try to solve their problem.
I would love to give a higher rating because my service with Kelly was very good, but I will not return due to the stress that I incurred after and the way I was talked down to about the issue. Taking ownership of a problem goes a long way, and All About You did not do that in this situation.

Had a perfect prenatal massage at all about you. Almost too relaxing because I may have been asleep for half of it! Very interested in returning for another service, maybe haircut or color.

I had my first visit to the All About You salon today and it was wonderful! I had my gel polish from an awful manicure I had gotten at another salon removed and new gel polish applied. Amy did my nails and was great. She was friendly and gentle, and my nails came out looking perfect! The salon itself was beautiful. The décor and the calming feel we’re very inviting. The women that greeted me at the front desk were also very nice and welcoming. I will definitely be going back and will recommend this salon to others!

Anyone needing a great massage… I had the best experience from check in to check out …I was greeted by the front desk staff, they were extremely professional, courteous and friendly… they atmosphere of the spa /​salon was gorgeous, comfortable and inviting… and I can’t say enough about the massage therapist (James) by far the best experience I have ever had at a salon/​spa… I have high standards on customer service… they exceeded every one!!! I have already rebooked and can not wait to return.

Amy changed my whole attitude towards this salon. I was given a gift certificate to come to this salon for my birthday and thought it would cover what I had done… Partial color, cut/​style, but I still ended up paying out of pocket. Even though, Amy was an amazing stylist and I felt her work was worth every penny. she took the time to look at pictures I brought in for background reference of my hair styles and gave me the perfect highlights & I left feeling absolutely amazing. They have wifi, just ask for the password. I was there for about 2 ½ hours so it was nice to have the wifi and not use data. The store was very busy and I hear and saw that dezi is great with young kids. Before I left. Amy suggested appropriate products for my colors and I had mentioned a make up question and kelly, the make up consultant, swept me over to her counter and helped me match colors and have me a mini make up consult with a free sample and wrote down her recommendation in my file. I had a pleasant experience this time. Thank you Amy and kelly!

Cute salon. Everyone was really friendly even though I had a Living Social deal. Usually that sends them screaming to find their worst assistant to do the work. My manicurist Jenny Lee was really sweet and did a great job. She even gave me a paraffin hand treatment which was to die for.
They had a great OPI shellac selection with all the new colors. I’ve had issues with cheap products too but these were real OPI and the manicure stayed very well.
As for the salon, it really reminded me of a bridal party I went to in another state, and they definitely had the space to do a large group like Trish’s review mentioned.
I only gave them 4 stars because I thought their prices were a little expensive.

I have been to All About You a few times for massage and they have always been very in tune to my body and have been great about working out all the kinks (and there are many). Jennifer and Allison have been my most recent Masseuse’s and have really done a wonderful job. I appreciate them and the salon is lovely. I particularly LOVE the massage rooms. I only wish that I could go once a week:)

I was there last night with a bunch of moms for a moms night out. The staff was so accomodating and friendly. I had such a great time as did all the other moms. Thank you so much! I will definately be back again :)

I removed my more detailed previous negative review after receiving an angry phone call to my cell phone from the owner Laurie. As you can see she also responded to my previous negative review with a comment below. I guess you better post good reviews on here or you are going to hear about it!
Needless to say I do not care for the way they do business and will not go back.

I am giving this 3 stars primarily because it is a bit pricey. Also, you can not include tips on your credit card which is a royal pain. I used to have my hair done there (color and keratin) but had to find a different salon because I was spending way too much money and I knew I could find the same Keratin service for less.
On the other hand, I did go back to All About You because I had a Groupon for a seaweed wrap. My appointment was with Denise. I loved her personality and the wrap. I found out Denise does massages including Deep Tissue. Since then, i have booked two deep tissue massages with Denise and 1 Sweedish. Without a doubt– these were truly DEEP Tissue and penetrated my muscles. She has very strong hands. I will continue to book periodic massages with Denise. If you want a fantastic massage– deep tissue or sweedish, see Denise.

I LOVE LINDA. I really love how she listens and does what I want and helps with suggestions. I love that she never over highlights my hair and she is super friendly.
Marie is also the best waxer. I never break out from her waxing and she is also super sweet!

I think I have finally found my hairstylist soulmate. Her name is Linda, and she is fabulous. She asked me a lot of questions, listened to me, and made changes based on my concerns. She made sure she understood me completely before proceeding.
As far as the salon/​spa itself is concerned, they had a very welcoming atmosphere. I will be going back next week to get a UV manicure, and possibly a spray tan. I was honestly very impressed.
Quick note, they can’t tack the tip onto your credit/​debit card, so be sure to bring some cash!

I just went here for the second time and NEVER again! The place is really cute but thats all i can say. Im going to a wedding today so i went in with my hair already washed and just had it blowed dryed straight and then she took the flat iron to it and put half up… very simple. I went to the register and when the lady told me $ 75 my jaw hit the floor!!! I have had my hair done many times at other places for wedding and special occasions and the most i have ever spent was maybe $ 50. This place is a rip off for sure… your clearly just paying for the atmosphere. What a huge dissapointment!!!

Awful place. Snobby and pretentious staff. Horrible hairdressers. Avoid this place; there are many other, and much much better, options.

This spa saved my arse (yes if you read my last few reviews. that happened a lot this weekend). I had planned to have a sort of bachelorette party at another salon ( Unilocal recommended) and they had called me relatively last minute to tell me they were short handed. Funny how I was going to call them to say I wanted to add two more people. Grreeaaatt. I called All About You and was told I needed to talk to the reservation manager but she wasn’t in. Nervous, I left a message and prayed that she would call me back ASAP. The wedding venue suggested All About You because of its proximity, but I couldn’t find any reviews so I was extra nervous.
Luckily, she called me the next day and we got the go ahead for 6 manicures and 4 pedicures. Wahoooo! Saved. I had to put down 50% of the total (including 20% on each of the services) since I told her I’d be paying for most of it. That hurt my soul a little bit, but I can understand where she was coming from.
The spa, which is a little over a year old, was not only super close to our hotel (Marriott), but to Stop and Shop as well (so I could pick up munchies for us). Everyone there was so awesome and incredibly friendly. They chatted with us, but allowed us to yap away with our neighbors and friends coming in and our of the room. From what I could see, there were about 4 massage rooms, a big bathroom, at least 6 salon chairs, 2 pedi stations, and 4 mani stations. They had us in the «relaxation room» which contained a nail and pedi dryer, two lounge chairs, a latte machine, a water cooler, and a small table for us to put our food on. The lights were dim and soft music played.
6 out of the 7 of us really enjoyed our services. One of my friends didn’t like hers, but she had the same people that we all had, so yeah. Her word against ours. heh FYI — if you get a spa manicure or pedicure, leave extra time for yourself because they take longer. All of the services took about 3+ hours but were spaced out nicely to give time for me to hang out with everyone.
Oh. and there’s a huge open window and a deck in the room with 2 mani/​pedi tables. I’ve been told they do services out there when the weather’s nice, which is awesome. Although it is quite close to the road, which may make it less than relaxing, but a nice perk. I would definitely go back if I were closer or had another small gathering like that to plan.
