I’d like to defend D’Angelo’s honor and also take the liberty of pointing out Aly D’s obvious regional prejudices. D’Angelo’s is a quality regional chain where you can get a sandwich made from fresh ingredients. The place is clean, the management here is extremely pleasant and courteous. I was there at an off hour(3:00 pm on a Saturday), and my boyfriend and I were served our food at the table. Get the #9 with pickles, it’s delicious. And the sandwiches are NOT greasy!

sorry, i think this is the one i went to. stranger in a strange land, but i managed to find some food wandering around mass. and was so starving that a sandwich was inviting. the ONLY decent thing about this place was the guy who was running the cash register. he was the ultimate east coast stereotype straight out of a movie guy. you know the type… bald, big ol pot belly with a tight tshirt on and a white waist apron that has some greasy stuff thats unrecognizable on it. oh and the ‘i dont give a fuck if youre a customer’ attitude. after i got over that quaint little charm, i looked at the menu and realized i was absolutely screwed. nothing looked appetizing, but i was dying of hunger and i really didn’t want to explore anymore. i ordered the roast beef sandwich and realized it was more bread than fixings. i think i got one piece of meet for a foot long sub. i’ll steer clear of this chain from now on.
