Dr. Kass has been in practice for over 35 years. A graduate of the University of Rochester and New York University College of Dentistry, he served as a dentist in The United States Air Force before beginning his practice in General Dentistry. He has maintained a private practice in Framingham since 1979.

Dr. Kass takes pride in employing the latest advancements in dentistry. He was an early adopter of Air Abrasion, the concept of «Minimally Invasive Dentistry,» and Laser Dentistry. He utilizes the latest technologies such as Digital Radiography (x-​rays), the Cadent iTero™ digital impression system, and VELscope for cancer screening.

Absolutely the best dental experience I have ever had. From the front desk to the dentist himself, everyone was so kind and helpful. Jorga cleaned my teeth and she was just amazing. Explained everything along the way and was so honest and friendly. She is really the reason I will be back (even though I moved several towns away) and the reason where I have recommended this place to everyone I know. I’m never one to be running back to the dentist; but as far as this place goes — I’ll see you in six months! Highly recommend.

Please allow this letter to serve as a recommendation for Dr. Arvi Duka as your next Dentist. I was one of many regular patients of him and I can tell you that he would bring along with him many dedicated and happy long-​term patients.
I have been going to Dr. Duka for at least 5 years now. He has an excellent method as a dentist and he is very thorough in his approach. He is extremely familiar with all of the latest in computer-​based dental technology and he used much of it in his office. He was a painless dentist, which is one of the things that made him so popular.
I would strongly recommend Dr. Duka as a dentist and I am certain that you will find other patients who feel the same way.

My family went here for a year or so. The dental hygienists were only okay and the dentist was friendly. The problem came when one of us needed a filling. One of the dentists did the filling, but something was not quite right, there was pain that lasted for months and despite informing them of this issue they consistently brushed it off as if it were normal. After much insistence the other dentist re-​did the filling, but it was rough feeling and needed adjustment. Worse yet the pain did not go away.
After consulting other experts, the conclusion was that these sloppy filling procedures probably cracked the tooth. The only remedy at that point was a very expensive crown, and because the issue had carried on for so long there was a risk of a root canal being required (perhaps down the road it will).
In summary, this practice showed a serious lack of care for the patient and lack of expertise that should be standard for any dental practice.

This dentist office is amazing — I never ever thought I would be able to say that about a dentist (I hate having any kind of dental work done)
When you first walk in the desk staff are very friendly and greet you immediately. The new hire paperwork was a breeze and it helps that they will email it to you before coming in to complete.
I had Jorja as my dental hygienist. She was very thorough and explained everything as she was doing it.
Their hours are great and in the Fall, Winter and Spring they have a few Saturdays that they book appointments.

I am new to this area and found the reviews on Unilocal to be very helpful. I went in for a simple cleaning and could not have had a better experience anywhere else. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Jorja did a great job explaining and teaching me about what she was doing. It was very educational. I came from a small dental office and this is exactly what I was looking for in a dentist. Thanks to everyone and you will see my husband very soon.

Our family has been going to Dr. Kass for over 20 years. He is an excellent dentist — very skilled and knowledgeable! He is honest and never pressures you to have work done that you don’t need! Dr. Kass uses the newest equipment — and everything is extremely clean. Every one in the staff is really nice! I highly recommend Dr. Kass and his office!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kass’s for 10 months since I moved to Framingham. Jorjia is my dental hygienist. I am really glad I found her. Her approach is very calming, I can be very comfortable with her as a patient. She is always very patient in explaining a procedure before performing. She is eager to listen and answer my concerns with an informative discussion. She realizes that each patient is different and gives all the options and points out the pros and cons. I also like the goodies (little toothbrushes for hard to reach areas) she hands out at the end of our session.
The people at the reception are also very warm and friendly.
I can confidently say that since I’ve been going to Dr. Kass’s I no longer dread an appointment with my dentist. I am very happy with Framingham Family Dental Care and I would highly recommend it to my friends.

Can one actually enjoy going to the dentist? Doubtful but Framingham Family Dental gets you as close to liking the dentist as possible. Everyone that works there is sweet as pie and über accommodating. They are usually on time and let you know of earlier openings in case you want to switch your appointment. Dr Katz is a bit on the conservative side (I.e. He recommended me to replace my fillings even though I was not experiencing any chipping, pain or any decay) but I’ve had one cleaning and two fillings replaced in a four month time span and I still only have positive things to say about this place.

I’m 41 & I’ve been going here since I was 9. I’m a very nervous and testy patient. I’ve travelled there from the North Shore and now Merrimack Valley for the past 20 years. My young kids (now 9 & 4) are now the 4th generation of my family to see Dr. Kass. The office uses all of the best & proven technology out there to make your dental experience as enjoyable as possible. Dr Kass, the hygienists, and all of the staff are pleasant, personable & accommodating. If you’re looking for a pleasant dental experience given them a try & stick with them! I sure have!

This place is high tech and very current with technology. You can get an appt reminder via txt message and even confirm it. I’ve been going there since 2003 and I’ve been very happy. My oldest daughter now goes there for cleanings and loves it, they are great with kids. I’d recommend Dr. Kass to anyone in the Framingham area looking for a dentist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kass and the team at Framingham Family Dental Care for over 15 years. I’ve moved all over MA and have stayed with FFDC because they are phenomenal. Their location is right off the Mass Pike — so, if you’re coming from Watertown (like me), it’s an easy ride.
Nancy is my hygienist. She’s just super. I go every 6 months (whether I have dental insurance or not) and she always takes exceptional care of my choppers and gums.
I feel like I’m in excellent hands with FFDC and highly recommend them as the premier Dental Professionals in Metro West. I’ve even recommended them to others (who have a fear of dentists) and the team at FFDC came through big time — so much so, they have become loyal patients.

I have NEVER liked going to the dentist for as long as I can remember. However when I came to Framingham Family Dental it totally changed my dark view on dentists. Framingham Family Dental has made my yearly cleaning appointments very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and caring. They always make sure I am happy and content with my service.
