I went here just to get a couple inches trimmed and left with my hair 3 inches shorter than I had asked. When I stated that my hair was much shorter than I wanted, rather than apologize, Christine proceeded to explain how my request dictated that she cut it in short layers and that I was in the wrong. Before coming here, I thought it was impossible to mess up a simple trim, but they managed to prove me wrong! I’d let a friend with no prior experience cut my hair rather than come here.

Got a nice basic men’s haircut at a reasonable price. I have also brought my grandson in for a kids cut. Everything they have done has been just fine. No long wait time, Monday afternoons you can walk in and find the shop quiet! Great time to go! My wife like my cut. Mission accomplished!

As a guy with a simple«clipper-on-the-side-short-on-top» hair style, overworked and father of 2 young kids, its all about convenience for me. HD are ok, but the card swiping thing to log you in line is all BS. I always get passed by some dudes that showed up after me, for some obscure reasons. I thought that this first come first serve thing would work out, but it just takes forever all the time. I’m out.

I’ve gone here twice now– once for a simple trim, and once for a slightly more complex(but still pretty straightforward) cut. I was pleased with the results both times– nothing out-of-this-world, but nothing wrong, either. When I just wanted my split ends trimmed, I really liked that the stylist asked, «Do you want people to be able to tell the difference or not?» What a great way of asking something that stylists screw up so often– how many times have you just wanted a trim and come out with hair three to four inches shorter than when you walked in? So that put me at ease. This particular stylist has also been good about telling me what will and won’t look good with my fairly thin and fine hair, which I appreciate. I was a little put off by the fact that my simple trim without a shampoo or dry was $ 17, but then realized that a more complex hair cut was the same price. So I guess that’s their flat rate, which seems reasonable. One thing that I like is that you can just walk in here and only have to wait half an hour at the most for someone to be available. Also, there is always parking available, and it’s very close to Shopper’s World and the Natick mall. I’ve sent two friends here who have been happy with this place as well, so that’s great. I will continue coming here for trims and simple stuff, but if I were to get something that would actually be possible to screw up, I would probably be willing to spend a little more at a more upscale place. But for my purposes, this does just fine.

Terrible service. Lack of tact, professionalism, styling competence and uncomfortable interaction with Corie. I can’t believe they would even accept my payment after the terror was on my face from hearing/seeing how the stylist planne on leaving my hair. I really don’t care how you were holding the scissors or why me parting my hair(as usual) effects the cuts you made. PLEASEREPAIRMYHAIR! Thank goodness for a local Waltham styling boutique. I’ll never let a «good deal» ruin my look again!

Quality hair cut every time I’ve been in there, usually on a weekend afternoon. It’s never been overly busy either… I think my longest wait has been 15 minutes. They are located in the strip next to Rite Aid and MG Fitness. «What would you like done?» «#2 on the sides and about an inch off the top, trim my ears and eyebrows also please». The language is simple but can be messed up in a heartbeat… I’ve never had that issue here. I also love how they offer a free shampoo as opposed to Cost Cutters which is now charging $ 4 for the same service. I don’t have a particular stylist that I go to but there is a difference between a few of them, sorry I don’t have any names. I’m just glad I can still get out the door for under $ 20 with tip for a silly haircut. Courteous staff, clean digs and prompt service… can’t ask for much more than that.

Ask for Molly! She did a great job cutting my hair. She really took her time to cut my hair. She made sure she did a really thorough job. Best hair cut I’ve gotten in a long time. Definitely recommend Molly, she gave me a great fade and focused more on cutting my hair than chatting which I really appreciate. Jordan

My husband and I have been visiting Hair Cuttery at this location for over an year now. Never ever have we come out unhappy. In fact, I am extremely ecstatic after getting my hair cut-blow dry done. I personally have always gone to Marlene. She is not just a wonderful person but is great at what she does to my hair. She is pretty popular with people because there are always people waiting for her. She makes me look beautiful… every single time :) having said that, I don’t mean to say others are bad but it’s just I’ve never been to them. My husband has been to few others for his haircut and he’s had a good experience. And the best part… their prices are much lower than any of the other good salons in the mall who do an equally good job. I always used to go the mall before visiting hair cuttery sheerly for the great cut and service I’d get but it’s been an year and I have never gone back to salons in the mall. The only caveat here is that there is only a walk in and no appointments are given, which sometimes might lead you to wait for a while but if you stare knowing your stylist’s busy hours you can plan accordingly :)

My husband and I went for a haircut for the second time to this place for a haircut and we got a very bad treatment from the staff there. The guy in the counter asked for my name to locate my member profile because I forgot my card(had to repeat my name thousand times as he wasn’t paying attention) and he just stood up and walked away, frustrated without saying a word just because he couldn’t locate me… I was shocked at his behavior! then another associate(whom I got my haircut with) approached as she was watching the entire drama and helped me create a new profile. My husband was never called although I told them concisely that me and husband both are getting a haircut and his turn came right after me. I had to remind my hairdresser again that my husband is waiting to get his cut and other people who came after us were called and he wasn’t .well, unfortunately, the same rude guy we encountered at the front desk was assigned to cut my husband’s hair and he yelled right in front of me «oh I don’t want to take him»…It was unbelievable!!! then the guy continued to tell me that I very much look like his stepmother… stressing the word… another associate apologized to us and said that the guy was disappointed because he was pulled to work on his day off… what does this have to do with the customers??? what a third class service!!! he even messed up with my husband’s hair and my haircut wasn’t so great either! Terrible experience… we are willing to pay more in another salon but will never go back to this place. Definitely needs improvement in customer service… Also will file a complaint in BBB.

While I have not had my own hair cut here before, my boyfriend swears by Hair Cuttery because he used to go to them all the time in Philly. He was very excited to see that they had made their way up to MA. Overall the service is quick and the shampoo is included in the $ 15 price. The stylist usually cuts his hair first and then washes it to get rid of the loose hair… nice touch. He has been pleased, but I find that they leave a ton of hair on top… to the point where I ended up cutting more of it off a few days later. Surprisingly there is usually a wait time of about 20 minutes and the Framingham location is next to Legal Sea Foods. They also do color, foil, etc. for low prices. I also noticed that customers could add tips via credit card.
