History

Established in 2002.

This business was started by a «hands-​on» engineer with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering who was an active musician with a passion for all things audio since childhood.

After serving six years as the Chief Engineer for the New England Region of a National Sound Systems Contractor, Prevco Audio — Commercial Sound & Music Systems was created.

The business model was to provide both typical and atypical systems, specifically engineered to deliver: optimum speech intelligibility, accurate music reproduction, uniform coverage and user-​friendly operation.

The tagline became: «Creating Value through Qualified Engineering.»

The motto became: «We sell systems Engineering Expertise and provide equipment… Anyone can sell equipment!»

As one of the only fully NICET Certified Engineers in the Sound Contracting business in MA, coupled with a lifetime of musicianship, it’s safe to say: «We have the ART of Audio down to a SCIENCE.»
