Love love love this place! We find ourselves ordering from here almost 2 – 3 times a week! Their servings are huge and they have so many options! I have never ordered something I didn’t like! Their steak tips are great, so is their chicken pesto pizza and my all time favorite is their steak and cheese sub! They are so friendly and fast!

Nice, certainly better than A-OK! New Years Eve for delivery. Very friendly on the phone and the driver was great. We got a couple of pies to try them out. Our standards, pepper &onion and a sausage & mushroom. The very good: The sausage was very tasty, the veggies were fresh. Delivery was faster than promised. Did not expect on-time on a busy night, but it was ahead of schedule. The good enough: The pies were ordered as large, and they were smaller than expected. These days pizza joints have different names and sizes so it is not very surprising. But even for smaller than«large» pizzas, the price was still OK, and even less than the flyer led us to expect. The sauce was very sweet & tasty, and the crust was cooked well, but with very little edge, like a greek pizza, but not thick enough to be Greek! Interesting, and OK, but different. The bad: Nothing was bad! That is good! We have other places in Framingham that we would prefer, but this was a very pleasant experience. We will probably give other items on the menu a try someday since the people were so friendly.

I really don’t understand the bad reviews to this place. I order from here ALL the time and the food is always quick and super yummy! Their grilled chicken Greek salad is my favorite, but they also have amazing subs. The meatball parm is awesome! Don’t listen to the other reviews. This place is incredible! It’s my favorite sub shop in Framingham-soooo good.

So just to be clear, the low rating is not a reflection of the food quality whatsoever! I stubbornly order from this place for their grilled chicken Greek salad — the chicken has an awesome marinade and the pita seems homemade and it’s AMAZING. Seriously, I want to just buy the pita alone sometimes. Anyway, much to my disappointment this place is SUPER inconsistent. They will randomly make up prices(I get the same salad every time — why does the cost fluctuate by a dollar or so every time!!!) and sometimes my salad will be missing key staples like the feta cheese or tomatoes etc. This place had been a go-to for me during my lunch hour at work but not so much anymore. They have been so inconsistent with their food and so rude when you bring these mistakes to their attention(unapologetic, don’t refund, don’t fix it) that my boss has«boycotted» them and threw out their takeout menu from our menu stash. In conclusion, the food quality is delicious but unfortunately they are inconsistent with their prices and ingredients and they are not very friendly. I’ll admit I still order their salad sometimes just because it’s so good but every three salads or so I find myself frustrated that I go back because they mess up again.

This place is pretty decent especially it’s very close to where I work. I only tried the falafel salad and the falafels were very crispy. I will go back for a light lunch as they have variety of salads in their menu.

Their marinara for the calzone is just the grossest plain, watery tomato sauce. Bland and dissappointing.

I work in the area occasionally and have gone in there occasionally because of convenience. About a year ago I had a salad with tuna. The tuna was on top with one big scoop, a couple of small tomatoes, little cup of dressing with very hard and stale bread. I stopped going for a while but I started again recently because of the convenience. The other day I went in and ordered a turkey and bacon wrap. They were very busy and when I received my order in a bag I was concerned if it was correct as I had a feeling about the order; I was told it was so I took it and left. When I got to my desk I opened it and it was a sub full of peppers, onions and things I didn’t recognize. I called and was told my order was still there so they must have already figured it out. I demanded they deliver it to me and they did in about 5 minutes and told me to throw or give away the incorrect sub. So I unwrapped the«correct» order and took a bite and determined there was no bacon! I called again and the person who took the order gave me to the manager. After telling him what happened he said he was sorry. I am sure he was and ironically somebody later asked me how the food is there. I told her what happened so she didn’t order from there. I think they mean well and appear to be nice people but I don’t see how I can ever go back there again!

Ehh… There is nothing about this place to write home about. It’s typical pizza shop food with subs, calzones, pizza, and pasta dishes. The workers have been pretty friendly everytime I go in so theres no complaints about that. I’ve tried a few subs and apps from them; cheeseburger, eggplant, fries, the snack plate, gyro plate. These were all perfectly fine items that when I don’t feel like cooking I probably would order one since I live so close to this place but I have to say the pizza is the WORST. I love pizza and I will definitely not be ordering this from them. It wasn’t thin crust nor was it deep dish/greek so I’m not sure what style they are trying to portray. The sauce and cheese ratio was fine but the crust was AWFUL!!! It was soft and doughy-like, you could definitely tell it was frozen. It was like having pizza on wonder bread.

The Sub Way on Union Ave has, in my opinion, the best cheese pizza in Framingham. And I’ve tried them all. The crust is very good, and the sauce/cheese combo is perfect. Depending on the cook, the pizza can be a little bit oily, but that’s pretty rare. It is a greek-style pizza, so oil can emerge. For the most part, I find the balance of flavors to be right on the money. They have a very large menu that has a few true gems. I love the Philly Cheese steak pizza and their breakfast pizza. The subs are outstanding. The appetizers are very, very good. I tend to order the jalapeño poppers and chicken fingers the most, and they are consistently excellent. The staff is very friendly and the prices are about average for the town. I highly recommend Sub Way.

As a regular customer who buys about $ 500.00 /year from Sub Way, I had a bad experience today that may just make this my last transaction with them. Ordered a half cheese half Subway special pizza for lunch, free delivery. The cheese is listed at $ 13.95 and the special id $ 16.95. The delivery guy shows up and the pizza is $ 25.00! I tipped him $ 3.00 since it wasn’t his fault, and called Sub Way. I spoke to the woman I had placed the order with and questioned this billing. She transferred me to one of the owners(I think) who had the audacity to tell me I was charged more because it is harder to make a half and half pizza! After asking him how a half and half could cost more than a whole Sub way special and getting a weak answer, I told him that he got his extra $ 10 bucks from me this time, but he just lost a regular customer because of it. No yelling and screaming, just a matter of fact statement to the owner. It’s a shame because i like their products and generally they are friendly people, but this was the end of a years long relationship with this establishment.

I have eaten and ordered from here several times. I haven’t tried their pizza but the calzones and subs are both excellent. Delivery has always been fast and my orders accurate. They are always super polite on the phone or in person. I’m not one to write reviews about delivery places or pizzeria’s but if you live in the area and are looking for delivery/takeout this is a great choice.

The subs are overall good, the pizza has just enough grease to give it some flavor, but they have made a few double screw ups on my orders in the past, some good deals with the coupons on the take out menu…

I don’t really care for their pizza, its just kind of bland and greasy. However, their subs are really good. I typically get the chicken parm or chicken cutlet sub. I’ve had a few other hot subs that have been good. I’ve never had cold cuts there because I am extremely picky about them and for the most part only get them from delis or places with boars head. I think you need to specify that you want them to toast them since I’ve gotten an untoasted chicken parm before — which is just weird. The big reason I order from here a lot is they deliver and are quick.

A great family-run restaurant in a super location – right across the street from Framingham’s Bowditch Field. Their pizza is a favorite of my son. The sauce is sweet and the crust is really crunchy. They make a great classic steak and cheese sub. Prices are very reasonable

My family and I, have been a huge fan of Sub-Way and Pizza for many years now. I highly appreciate the fact that this is a family run business and I am always greeted with smiles. They listen to our requests when I ask for light on the cheese and all the way to the crust :)

I’ve had two subs from this place, and both were terribly bland. The first, a chicken salad sub, was definitely fresh, but had little seasoning and just wasn’t made very well. Too much chicken salad not enough everything else. The second, an eggplant parm sub, definitely featured mushrooms from a can and just had little flavor. The service is friendly, and the prices are low, but I won’t be back unless everything else is closed. Maybe their pizza is good?

I have eaten food from here on many occasions. The dining room is tiny with only a few tables so I almost always do the take out thing. Tonight, I tried something a little different, The Subway Pasta, pasta with chicken, and steak tips. Not only was the portion huge, the picture I uploaded doesn’t do it justice, it tasted great. I have had pizza, calzones and and subs from here in the past and have never been disappointed.

I’m a fan of some of the specialty pizzas here — the chicken parm, super veggie, and Hawaiian pizzas in particular. I don’t think the sandwiches are as good as their pies, so I’m ignoring them in order to give a nice four-star rating. Service is always quick and very friendly. Prices are very fair.

Okay its great that the Sub-Way has a HUGE menu. From pizza to pasta to wings to subs to salads… pretty much everything you could ask for. Unfortunately the menu looks more appetizing than most of the food. This place gets packed beyond belief during lunch time, the prices are a little too steep for the liking, and the quality is average at best. One recommendation: Don’t be fooled by «medium» or «large». Especially when going from«regular» to «medium». You added about half an inch and not much more ingredients. Meatball sub? Three meatballs, little sauce, no cheese. Chicken Parm? Kind of like chopped chicken in a light red sauce… nothing else really. Very«meh». But it does the job.
