History

Established in 2009.

On November 1, 2015, DeMarco Sciaccotta Wilkens & Dunleavy, LLP merged with the practice of Greg Pierce from Pierce, Riesbeck & Associates, LLP; thus forming one of the largest public accounting firms in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.

Greg Pierce, CPA.

Greg specializes in family businesses and small business taxation and succession. Included in his areas of concentration are estate and gift tax planning, individual taxes and business structure. Greg has substantial work experience with non-​profit organizations, manufacturers, the trucking industry, wholesalers, and professional service corporations. He has performed Peer Reviews of other accounting firms for over 15 years, currently serves on one of the ILCPA Society Peer Review Acceptance Body Committees and served as Chairman of The ILCPA Society’s Peer Review Executive Committee. During 2011 Greg was a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the Illinois CPA Society for his volunteer service to the Society.

John Sciaccotta, CPA

John has been in the public accounting industry since beginning his career in 1987. He focuses on consulting with privately held businesses and specializes in various industries including manufacturing & distribution and financial and professional services.

Rick Wilkens, CPA, CVA

Rick was the CFO of a family owned $ 400 million importer/​distributor. He focuses on privately held businesses and specializes in various industries including distribution and professional services.

Robert Dunleavy, CPA

Robert was formerly a partner with Dunleavy & Company, P. C for over twenty years. Rob has spent his career specializing in the securities industry, specifically focusing on accounting practices and regulatory reporting of broker-​dealers.
