I have been a customer of K&K Automotive for almost 20 years, starting when they were located on the corner of Franklin and Corona. It is rare, in my experience, to be able to comfortably rely on someone’s skill and integrity when you need repairs on your car. Mauricio is that person! Not only is he a great mechanic and a nice person, he is considerate and thorough. I have never had an experience where he overlooked something important, or where I had any reason to question his honesty. He also expects his mechanics to perform to the highest level. I have spoken to many other customers over the years, while waiting in the office for our cars to be fixed. Mauricio has a loyal customer base because we all know how good he is and appreciate his reliability. For those of you who have been around for a while, you know how important this is. For those of you who want and need a good repair shop, and would like to deal with a top-​notch person, you can’t do any better.

It is a very reliable and professional place. I have been taking my cars here for years and have always received excellent service. Great and friendly service by everyone and the owner, Mauricio.

I’ve been bringing my cars to K & K for many years. It’s liking taking your car to the doctors. They know just how to fix it and know what to say. They are knowledgable, efficient and honest and reliable. I wouldn’t and won’t take my cars anywhere else.

Wow! I can’t believe this is the first review for this place! They’ve been around for a while & the owners (Mauricio & Jerry) are very nice, friendly & knowledgeable. That being said, unfortunately, I’d say to steer clear of this place for several reasons.
FIRST, the creep they have working at the front desk writing things up that you HAVE to deal with is a complete & utter JERK! His name is FRANK & he’s the most unprofessional rude curmudgeon you’ll ever find. Many times he’s complained to me when he was staying a few minutes late that he’s upset that he doesn’t partake in the profits here (like as if she SHOULD be a part owner, YEAH RIGHT! LOL!). I can go on & on with the stories over the years, but I’ll spare you. He’s quite a joy to deal with. Nuff’ said!
NEXT, they haven’t blatantly flat out robbed or ripped me off, but overall the workers there all appear to be COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT! — or don’t care; or worse – BOTH! I’ve had my car there many times for the SAME set of problems, & they can’t even begin to reliably fix it. Each time though, I keep paying & paying HUNDREDS UPON HUNDREDS! It adds up big time to serious $! Not to mention every time I had to go back, it’s more dealings with that fool Frank which will ruin your day for sure!
LASTLY, to illustrate the poor work done here. I’ve literally been pulling out on to the street & had mechanics chasing me down to open my hood up so that they can see if they left tools behind in my engine compartment! D’OH!!! Other times, I’ve gotten home & found cans of aerosol carb cleaner left in there along with red shop rags! Nice! On another occasion, they never gave me my wheel locks back & I had to go there & wait as they looked around the entire garage for them. The list goes on & on.
One of the reasons why probably all this ridiculousness happens is that they’ve been around a while & established a large customer base who just keep returning no matter what so there no longer hungry for business & can just skirt by doing the minimum.
P. S. I found another shop to go to & low & behold, I was treated like royalty & my problems were fixed in a matter of hours! Wow! Go figure? Maybe you’ll have better luck, but my assessment has been formulated over many years. I’d recommend finding someone else to go to unless you just don’t care, or are even aware of what’s going on here. There’s no need to put yourself though such nonsense with so many other places to go.
