Proline Studios

We used Proline as our videographer for our wedding on October 10^th, 2015. Our videographer, George, was fantastic. He was extremely professional and personable. He was available the night to make sure he got the best shots. He worked very well with my photographers to get the best shots. I would 100% recommend proline for video services.

What kind of photographer shows up late to a wedding? Unprofessional. You don’t really get what you pay for with proline.

Proline was excellent for my wedding needs, they were flexible with package and price. I had an engagement shoot with their photographer Stacey, and she took photojournalist shots that all came out amazing. We had the photographer Mike for our wedding, who was awesome. He was not in our face while getting pictures and every shot he took looks amazing. He got some interesting shots as well as some of the traditional we wanted. We provided a list of pictures we wanted, and he made sure they were done right away. We had our proofs back 2 weeks after the wedding. Georgia in the office is very accommodating and helpful and the studio as a whole bends to help you and make times work for you. All the printed items came out very beautiful, very good qualitiy as well as our wedding video. Definitely would recommend!

We hired 2 photographers from Proline to help us on the day of their wedding. Both were friendly and professional, and overall did a good job. My one comment is that they never really established who to look at if both of them were taking pictures, so I had quite a few shots where the bridal party was looking in 2 different directions (however, since they took SO MANY PICTURES– probably about 1300, we definitely still had more than enough to choose from).
The women who we worked with to put the album together were knowledgeable, and definitely did a good job. We had 1 issue at this stage– they spelled my name wrong on the album cover– however, they fixed this very quickly once I told them. The albums (mine, and the 2 parent-​albums) came out wonderfully, as did the thank-​you postcards that we ordered with one of our pictures (it’s actually still sitting out in their Franklin Square studio).

I don’t even know where to start. This place is a NIGHTMARE! and some of the staff is VERY unprofessional when you bring a problem to their attention. To me the most important part of any wedding is your photos. All my pictures are not «professional» quality. The color in the pictures are not consistent. My bridesmaid dresses are every different shade of green but the correct color. the quality of them are horrible. they are all spotted and grainy. I have more pictures of food, shoes, walls, floors then i do people. and when the time came for my ALBUM. NIGHTMARE! Who ever is part of their «design» team doesn’t know how to work in photoshop. I think the ONLY thing they know how to do is change pictures from color to black and white and vice versa. There is so much more that went wrong with this company. and the way they handle themselves is so UNPROFESSIONAL. I won’t even let them edit my video because they may mess that up too. This experience was one i willl never forget. For the money i paid and the quality i got, was NOT WORTH IT. i was better off paying a family member to take pictures with their personal $ 200 cameras and i would of had better quality pictures. Save yourself the heart break and save yourself your money and DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

Proline Studios was recommended to me by a friend of mine. When I walked into their studio, I was greeted by Ed who sat us down and showed us a few albums and pictures. They were very pretty and I liked what Proline had to offer for their price.
A few months later, that same friend who recommended them to me had her wedding and after I saw her pictures, I was so deeply disappointed! REALLY DISAPPOINTED! Her photographer was Luis and many of his shots were from a far distance with absolutely no artistic beauty to it. There wasn’t any pictures that was just so ingenious as to say «I want that pose» or «I want that shot!» It was the typical looking into the camera and smiling kind of pictures.
That’s when I realized that something’s wrong here. the pictures that Ed showed me in the studio didn’t seem to match the pictures that this Luis photographer guy took. I wanted to make sure that Luis was not my photographer so I called up Proline and was then introduced to Georgia who also works there. She’s a total sweetheart, but I think that’s all Proline Studios has going for them. She confirmed what I didn’t want to hear, that Luis would indeed be my photographer on the day of the wedding. I respectfully declined and asked for another photographer. I even took it up a notch and hired another one of their photographers who focused more on photojournalism, and thank god I did because almost all of the pictures that I chose for my album were that of the photojournalist.
On the day of my wedding, both my photographer’s were really nice. I handed a small list of photo ideas that I wanted my main photographer (Anthony) to capture. One of those photos included a detailed picture of the back of my dress… it was my favorite part of the dress. He took many many many shots so I was almost certain that he got the image that I wanted… yeah right! Anthony I must say was far better than Luis and I was pretty happy for the most part with the pictures they got on the day of my wedding, but he also told me that he doesn’t like to follow other pictures as he has his own style. He sounded so confident that I trusted him… but I clearly didn’t get the pictures I wanted. At the end of the day, the pictures were nice (thanks mainly to the photojournalist) but another headache came when it was time to design my album. Oh boy.
The album designer clearly only knew the basics of photoshop and she seemed unwilling to even listen to what I wanted. There were many times where I asked her to edit the picture to which her response was that it wasn’t possible. I took one of my pictures and used the AOL photo editor to do the very basic request I asked of her and sent it back to her to show her that it WAS POSSIBLE and that she was full of s h i t!
It took a lot of patience and back and forth communication (or lack of it) to get my album to look a bit decent but after looking at other albums and quality of photography from other friends’ weddings, I will forever regret using Proline Studios. Please save your thousands of dollars and go somewhere else. It’s just not worth it. There are way too many wonderful artistic ways and technology in the photography world to explore and this place is definitely not up with the times.
I REGRET IT!

Used Proline a few years ago for my wedding because my catering hall had them as one of their in-​house photographers, and they were the cheapest. Well I should have realized that you get what you pay for. When I went in for the consultation appt, I felt the salesperson was impersonal and cold. They said we would get a free engagement session– what a joke! It was 5 minutes and 5 shots while another couple watched us! All they do is pose, pose, pose! I told them I wanted more photo-​journalistic shots, and they said I would have to hire a second photographer for that. I insisted that I don’t want posed shots at all! But they ignored my requests and failed to mention they DON’T do that. They are COMPLETELY, 100% TACKY, TRADITIONAL, POSED, UGLY photos. Sorry– just the truth! They did not do ANYTHING to my photos and I felt like I was on a conveyer belt mass-​production warehouse line. They didn’t care about me or my wedding– they just wanted to get paid. Album is humongous and ugly. Now my husband and I started our own photography studio, (weren’t as into photography back then) and I can’t BELIEVE Proline is still in business. But I guess the people that use them can’t really tell what nice photos look like. I look at their photos now and can’t believe what I was thinking! I know so much more about photography, their photos are some of the worst I’ve seen on the island. BE FOREWARNED.

Our album is beautiful, and made of great quality.
Great prices! It seemed as if they could work with any budget.
Such a pleasure to work with them, would work with them again in a heartbeat! If you are considering them, use them! you won’t be disappointed.
