House was under construction for about 8 months. Taylor Hearth was patient and responded whenever I called. Mendotta fireplace was finally fired up and is working great. Looks beautifaul. Other than my construction delays I had no problems at all with Taylor. They were great and I would buy from them again with no hesitation. They all ways responded to me.

so I just got a nasty message sent from Unilocal from a «Dennis L.» in Franklin Square. hmmm — could he possibly be the owner? :-) Dennis — you have a lot to learn about social media and customer service. The correct(and moral) thing to do would have been to contact me, find out what happened and try to make things right. Then, customers like us would update our reviews to more positive, after seeing you care. But instead, you decide to attack me personally? wow — good luck staying in business in the age of social media and treating your customers like complete crap. I’m pretty sure you violated Unilocal’s ToS as well, although clearly ethics mean nothing to you anyway. ORIGINALREVIEW: Completely unresponsive — never showed up or returned calls or emails. This company had no problem taking 50% as a non-refundable down payment, but when it comes to delivering, well, almost a year later and I’m still waiting. 10 phone calls over 3 months were met with«someone will call you back soon with an instal date.» never a call back. 5 or more emailed inquiries ignored. I’m now arguing w/AMEX to get my charge reversed — may have to file w/Small Claims Court. Do not do business with this company.

They don’t return repeated phone calls, even when I called the owner. They don’t care at all. And their crews don’t speak English and are unskilled. Go elsewhere.

I have never met more incompetent and nasty people in my experience. They really fabricated a monstrosity of my custom fireplace and then refused to do anything about it basically telling me «too bad». Everyone who sees the fireplace remarks about how terrible it looks. They have been unresponsive and now I’m stuck.

Yes I have to agree with these guys. Cold response, kept me hanging. Just forget this company. They dont understand customer service, customer relations. Which most companies should get nowadays. Also forget jetmore in wantauh ny. Kids working there without real stove knowledge and parts. Long island ny

Can’t say enough bad things about this business. Terrible customer service. Terrible workmanship. If you need your grill fixed do yourself a favor and spend the extra few minutes looking online for someone else.
