I should have listened to the other reviewer. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any Dr. in my life. He is completely inappropriate with his patients. I am going to stop right here because I am so upset at how horribly inappropriate this Dr. was with me that I don’t want to act like him. I am going to show more maturity and common courtesy than he granted me by not continuing. I will simply say I would never recommend Dr. Caudill to anyone.

This is going to be long and include some person information, but I’d like to save others the hassle and frustration, especially when it comes to something like medical treatment. For the past year or so I’ve had a clicking or popping feeling at the top of my throat while swallowing. Sometimes it clicks a lot, sometimes not at all. When it clicks a lot it starts to hurt and I have difficulty swallowing. I was recommended to visit Dr Caudill. My appointment was a 8:30 am. I arrived and received my paperwork to fill out. I noticed that the person who had signed in before me also had an appointment at 8:30. When I handed in my paperwork I noticed that the person who signed in after me also had an 8:30 appointment. This should have been the sign to get out. Why would you schedule three people to see one doctor at the same time? Well I decided to wait since I was really getting annoyed with the clicking issue. I proceeded to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time. I was getting ready to leave when I was finally called back and taken to the exam room. Where I waited a bit more. The doctor came in and he seemed friendly enough. He asked me what I did for a living and I responded with both my day job at an office and my evening job at a tattoo shop. He was really interested in the tattoo job and proceeded to ask me many questions about it. Now normally I don’t mind talking tattoos, but I’ve been waiting for an hour now and I’d really like to discuss the issue with my throat. We finally get back on topic and I let him know about the clicking and how it hurts after a while and sometimes makes it difficult to swallow. He said the best bet was an endoscopy to put a camera down my throat to see what was up. I let him know I had had one years ago when my acid reflux got bad and they didn’t see anything, and that recently I had done a barium swallow, also with no results. I asked if having the endoscopy would be able to see what was causing the clicking at THEBACKOFMYTHROAT. It’s a physical feeling; if you put your hand on my throat you can feel it pop. I was very specific as to where the feeling was occurring. I mentioned it multiple times. He said sure. So we scheduled the appointment. The procedure went well, the nurses were friendly and helpful and the facility was nice. A couple days later I receive a call from the doctor to check up on my recovery as they had stretched my esophagus out and I should be swallowing easier. I tell him I’m feeling fine but a bit sore, and I’m still clicking when I swallow. His response was«oh really.» I said«yes, so where you able to see anything that might cause the click?» His response was«well we wouldn’t be able to see that part of the throat with this procedure…» EXCUSEME? That was the whole reason I went to you and you told me the procedure would give us more information. At this point I was just pissed and needed to get off the phone. So while I did get some useful information I now I feel like this guy didn’t respect my time, wasn’t even listening to me, was more interested in discussing tattoos than being a doctor, and recommended an unnecessary procedure that fixed nothing just so he could bill me. Now I have a bill for this procedure and the problem that prompted my visit was in no way addressed. Probably the worse doctor experience of my life.
