It is true we have 2000 frames in ALL price ranges for all sizes, shapes and ages! We are not a «high end» place, but if you want high end, we have some. We are not a «low end» place, but if you are cost conscious and need a value, we have some. We specialize in serving the needs and wants of our community, in frames, in lens design, and we Listen to your wants and needs and recommend our best solutions and alternatives to your present eyewear. Our product line ranges from $ 49 for frames to about $ 400. and there are many more $ 49 than there are $ 400… There is a great variety in the middle! There are single vision lenses starting at $ 119 for regular plastic to progressive ultra high density lenses that can cost $ 750. Few people need or want either but there is lots to choose from in the middle. We specialize in finding the right fit and the right style for YOU,

History

Established in 1992.

I began this business with the idea that good business practice, honesty and integrity, and full disclosure about products pluses and minuses could be a good business neighbor in Franklin in 1992. Quality, Service, and a focus on the patient wellbeing has been my primary focus for 22 plus years. I have never claimed to be perfect, but that being said, I do take responsibility for my own errors and strive to be the best optician you have ever met. Betsy joined the practice nearly 8 years ago, and is my little bichon (hypoallergenic to my allergic friends… hair, not fur and behind the gate) and is responsible for the occasional entertainment of patients old and young with her tricks and friendly demeanor. We also like to spoil everyone with a lollipop, but the code for parent permission is «Are we Allowed?» not mentioning what is to be allowed at the end of the visit. A simple yes or no is all that is necessary for your desired result. Come visit us when you need us… Please!

With Over 50 years in the optical business, I have coached 10 apprentices to licensure in 4 states. I have owned Different Frames of Mind since February of 1992 when we opened our doors. I have been quoted in National trade publications, written numerous articles and have enjoyed my occupation in North Carolina, Massachusetts (twice, 10 years apart), Texas, Rhode Island, and Ohio.
