History
Established in 1964.
It was during this exciting year on so many levels in our history, that a motor machinist’s mate and Oconomowoc resident Emil Ewald was awarded the Chrysler and Plymouth franchise opening Emil Ewald’s Chrysler Plymouth, on 29th/North Ave. in Milwaukee. Emil’s passion for cars is contagious. Each of Emil’s 4 sons and their children have all joined him in growing the Ewald family of dealerships through the years. Today, the Ewald Automotive Group is led by 3 generations of Ewalds and includes 9 automotive brands in 6 locations: Cudahy, Franklin, Oconomowoc and Hartford along with providing a car rental service and being an Airstream dealer.
