I LOVED this dog park! It has lots of shade, nice mulch and its all fenced in. Lots of toys, trees, and picnic tables inside the fence to sit and play. Its free and I highly recommend it. bring water for your dog though!

Pretty good dog park! Definitely Convenient if you live in Franklin. I’m not a huge fan of the wood chips. Its definitely easier to maintain. because you don’t need to maintain it… but it makes it hard to spot where your dog goes to the bathroom to pick up. It also makes it hard to see poop when you are walking around because not everyone picks it up . Also you NEED to wear sneakers. If you wear anything with an open toe your feet feel realllllll gross after because the dogs kick up so much dirt in the wood chips. I’ve noticed quite a few people go around 4−6pm during weekdays,

This dog park is a little over a year old now. It was a great place to take your dog(s) but is in need of some much needed TLC. After a year of use, there is not much mulch left any longer. There is a lot of mud in many areas and a few holes from dogs digging and owners not filling in after them. In the summertime there seems to be a poison ivy problem. it creeps in from the back side in the woods. Also, there are two large boulders that are great for the dogs, but tend to get overgrown with thick, tall weeds in the warmer climates. I’m sure if there was a posting to help out on an upcoming weekend and rake in new mulch, etc, many of the regulars would pitch right in. It truly is a good park, just needs a bit of love to maintain it again.

The Franklin Dog Park is a great place to bring your dog and it was all started because of a middle school student and a dream. This park is brand new and has most everything you want from a dog park! Mulch, a new fence, benches for you while the dogs play, its next to a playground etc. If you want to see my full review check out my short video: has full reviews of other off leash dog parks in RI and MA along with any information a dog owner needs!
