Jared has been my jeweler of choice for some time. I went in three days ago and experienced the worst customer service. Instead of making a final decision on whether or not I would continue to shop at Jared, I decided to give them another chance. Today, before I could get all the way inside, I was greeted by the friendliest sales associate, Haley Bradshaw. I already knew what I was going to purchase so my plan was to make it a quick trip or cut ties. Not only did I purchase what my goal was, but I purchased an additional piece of jewelry. My loyalties to Jared will continue and I thank Haley for her outstanding customer service and commitment to her customer. I will be back and this five star rating goes out to Haley!

Very disappointed with the sales people. First person we encountered when we walked in just passed us off to the next person. And he seemed just a little pissed off about it. We walked in looking to buy engagement/wedding rings. And walked out knowing we WOULDNOT be buying ANYTHING from there They were not very knowledgeable. They did not even seem like they cared anything about helping us find something we liked. The lighting was TERRIBLE. Just not a good experience at all. Will not recommend them to anyone!

Called for reappraisal to update our jewelry ins policy. Was told appraisals are 1x/per month, need to shceduled and there is a $ 150 charge! What a ripoff. Jared, let me get this right… a customer spends thousands for an engagement ring with you and then required to spend $ 150 for an appraisal? The value of jewelry, especially diamonds, appreciates over time and your customers want to ensure ins coverage is sufficient. Your competitor across the street(Shane) will provide an appraisal within hours free of charge! You just lost a repeat customer.

After years of being a loyal customer I have had the worst experience ever at a jewelers and will never buy anything from Jareds again. They do not offer full service jewelry as they advertise and are a mere stock box chain jeweler. There are many more qualified jewelry stores in the area with much more qualified and experienced staffs.

I have never felt so invisible in my life. I went in with my wife– both of us fairly well dressed. All I needed was a watch battery replaced on my very expensive watch. We stood around in the store for 10 minutes waiting on someone to at least acknowledge us. No one said a word to us. Each salesperson maybe had one person with them. One lady just seem to be milling around and still did not acknowledge us. I was at least hoping for someone to ask us what we were looking for and to tell us to look around and that they would be with us in a minute. I was very thankful we were not there to look at engagement rings. That would have been horribly embarrassing in front of a girlfriend.

I lost my wedding band that I got from Jared so went in to purchase a new one. A lady looked up my information very quickly and said the ring had been discontinued. I left very disappointed. I then went to the Jared in Richmond VA where I live currently and the sale person said the ring wasn’t discontinued at all and was very helpful in helping track down the exact ring I had before because the receipt we had wasn’t detailed at all. So the lady at the cool springs location was just too lazy to look it up for us. I would not go back to this Jared, but Mary at the Richmond location was so helpful and so nice.

I bought a 5 diamond gold anniversary band along with a warranty. I live in Denmark and was so sad when diamond fell out of my ring. But all I had to do was send the ring back to Jared in Cool Springs, where I dealt with the manager, Michael. They fixed it right away and fedexed it to me by the next week. Now my ring is as good as new. I am so impressed with their commitment and how efficient they were. Yes, it is quite sad that a diamond fell out less than 2 years after I purchased it, but they made it right again. I will continue to buy from Jared.

I was overall underwhelmed by my visit to Jared’s. My salesperson was extremely pushy and tried to up sell me at every opportunity. When she wasn’t trying to up sell, she was recommending a competitors services over their own. Another salesperson even went on to say that the service that I was looking for at Jared was not that good. Poor visit.

The First woman didn’t even finish helping us because she was frustrated that we wanted to see more pandora charms. Four people ended up helping us. All were rude and inconsiderate. All we wanted to do was buy lots of charms and look at them before buying.

I only gave Jared one opportunity for my business and never came back. That might sound a bit harsh for a 1 star rating, but it is what it is. I went in to buy a watch and looked around for a bit. No one came up to me. I then really put on the«I need some help» body language. Still nothing. I sat down and hung out just a bit longer. Nada. After a full 20 minutes, I left. I ended up buying an Omega off of Ebay. I also(years later) bought my wife’s engagement ring from Shane Co. Here’s the other thing. How terrible are their commercials? I always envision some cow running her mouth about how she shopped at Jared. «I like rubies… and sapphires are my birthstone. Chomp! Chomp!» «Attention airplane, he went to Jared.» They market to imbeciles and that’s a huge turnoff. It just isn’t happening between me and Jared.

My daughter and I went here to look at engagement rings. I guess they thought we were not going to be serious customers or something because it took forever to even be greeted. Wee looked thorough all the rings and stood waiting for a long time. We almost left, but there was one(only one– not a great selection) ring she ws interested in. Finally they seemed put out at having to show the ring and it we were not impressed. After Jared’s and another jeweler nearby, we were off to the Shane CO where they had the best selection, best customer service and she found«the» ring. Sorry Jared’s but I won’t be back.

I’d been looking for me a ring. The wife of the future was taken care of at Shane and unfortunately they did not have my thing. I went to Jared(which was across the street). There was one other customer couple there. I waited. and waited. Short of this is it takes them nearly an hour to get someone to open up a case to show me a ring. The only reason I stuck around here was I saw the ring I wanted and I had already been looking elsewhere. I was skipped over multiple times by another sales person who kept having to go to the back, go to the front, go anywhere but helping me. I mean, I can guess why — I was not dressed like I came from a cocktail party, I probably looked a bit more like I wanted to go and play hackey sack out back… it was a hot day and I don’t do slacks on a weekend when it’s above 80. It was not good… the only sales person who appeared to be doing anything the entire time ended up finishing up with their people enough to show me the ring — I wanted it, this person was acting nice and seemed quite flustered she hadn’t had any help during this entire time and quite apologetic. But the damage was done by the other. They had to order the ring for me, picked it up a couple of weeks later. Good ring, ok price, bad service.

I definitely have to give Jared credit for trying to be a reputable jeweler. However, when I have shopped in here, I just get the feeling of a car lot, to some extent. The selection was standard, and I do not feel that there is a «special» feel to their jewelry. I prefer to shop at some of the other independent stores in town.
