Ralph & Jo’s Cafe

Was in town and tried this place on a local recommendation. I had «The Pit», BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with oinions. One of the best BBQ burgers I have ever had. Highly recommend this place.

I stop here for breakfast at least once a week and occasionally I buy lunch for the office.
The place itself is not that large they have 6 tables but they do a lot of take out service. It is tucked away on the main drag in Franklin and there is usually plenty of parking in front.
I will admit, walking past it may not shout out «Five Stars» but there is one thing that sets this place apart from anyone else in town. They use fresh ingredients and make everything from scratch. Even their bread is baked fresh.
I see a lot of places around that buy cooked and frozen stuff from the food service companies. Ralph and Joe’s brings in only fresh food, cooks it to perfection, and gives you more than a plateful.
Another important thing I really admire about business is they go way above any beyond to buy local. Im sure it costs more and it is probably much more of a hassle, but is great they care so much about their community.
Just a small for instance on how this place is different, when you order french toast or pancakes they serve you real NH maple syrup. Almost any other place that will cook a pancake will serve it with high fructose corn syrup mixed with caramel coloring. They may offer a real maple syrup product but that is an extra that will cost you.
Anyhow, great people, great food, such a nice change for Franklin.

I give it 5 stars because they have real maple syrup and they make their own pancakes. I heard they bake their own bread too. The breakfast is very good and filling. Brandy (the owner) is very nice. You can receive free coffee refills all day if you order a coffee to go! :) they buy locally, that is very important!

New to Franklin, I wanted to find a good local eatery. I had read a few of the Unilocal reviews about Ralph & Jo’s and earlier this week decided to check it out for myself. Am I glad I did. I ordered the short stack of 3 pancakes, a side order of corned beef hash, and a medium-​scrambled egg. When my meal arrived, my jaw nearly hit the table – the portions were incredibly generous! I guess I missed that in the reviews! Big fluffy, nearly plate-​sized pancakes and corned beef hash that will make you want to cry it’s so good – real corned beef, sliced fresh onion, and chunks of potatoes – this isn’t your chain-​made corned beef hash! I had never had it prepared like this before! Everything was molto delizioso! Furthermore, I couldn’t come close to eating everything, so I took the leftovers home for two more breakfasts. Bonus! Also a plus for me as a people-​person: Rebecca and Brandy, the owners, were delightful and welcoming. I really «dig» this place and will definitely return!

Fresh cooked to order awesomeness. Fun friendy family atmosphere. What more could one ask for breakfast? Creative menue? Yes!

Went well out of my way to eat here due to the Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed.
I had the veggie hash, reason toast and two eggs. All were stellar and the hot sauce was a local brand and really good.
The menu is small and the service is informal.

One of my favorite places to grab lunch whenever I am over in Franklin. The inside is set up up nicely and feels homey. Everything I have ordered has tasted not only good, but fresh tasting. The two ladies that work there are nothing but pleasant and they also had no problem modifying things for me to make them vegan-​friendly. Will be back very soon!

Very cute café with excellent food! We went for breakfast. I had an egg scramble with mushrooms, ham, cheese and jalapeños that was amazing! Everything was very fresh and tasted home cooked. They were very friendly and the prices were very reasonable!
I would definitely recommend if you are in the area to check this place out!
