Sudz Wash and Lube

I’m a car guy, and love keeping my car clean. I’d go broke anywhere else since I usually go 2 – 3 times a week with the monthly pass. Other people complain about the «kids» not doing a good job. I’m not sure what they expect them to do. It’s an automatic car wash, and it does a better job than all of them. I’d say that the price per wash is a tad too high though, but its overall a great car wash.

This place caters to customers. they go above and beyond to make everything an enjoyable experience.

My wife and daughter took our car for an oil change. During the work my wife was asked to start the car and then turn it off. Never saw the mechanics at the dealer do this but…
Later in the day as I passed the car in our garage I noticed about a 4″ x 8″ oil leak on the floor along with a couple smaller spots.
The next day we took the car back to Sudz Wash and Lube in Franklin.
We were directed to pull into the bay. After we explained about the leak the guy who directed us said the oil was full. Felt like I was expected to convince them to look at their work. He claims everything thing is dry under the car.
Still seeing drops under the car. Betting that they cross threaded the plug.

So here’s my issue with this place. (this review is about the wash, I’ve never used their oil change service)
First, it’s a great concept. They have probably the most technologically advanced car wash system out there. You go through the wash, which does a fairly good job, then you have access to free vacuums that are very high-​quality and well thought out. All good.
The downside is that the whole place is completely automated and run by kids who are apparently not allowed to do anything but take your money and push the button to start the wash cycle. So, anything that your car might need some human attention on, forget about it.
Lots of bugs on the windshield, wish somebody could spend a minute extra blasting them off with a pressure gun? Forget about it. Wheels extra dirty, need a little attention? Forget about it. And so on. The result is you often drive away with a car that is half clean.
Plus the kids have an attitude. I have three cars that I take there regularly. I’ve had repeated problems where the wash package I ordered doesn’t get applied. I’m actually getting a more expensive car wash then the one I ordered. I keep telling them that there must be a glitch in their system and they argue with me in an accusatory fashion like I’m trying to rip them off for a seven dollar car wash.
I’m trying to help their business and save it money! The kids are so aimlessly disconnected from their job as they desultorily stand there all day and poke a button to start the process that they don’t seem capable of getting that.
