History

Established in 2010.

Super Express Lube was opened in December of 2010. Owner and manager J.T. Trujillo has been interested in cars his whole life and active in the automotive industry for over a decade. J.T. is proud to now have his own shop to better serve the residents of Franklin and surrounding areas with honest, quality work. He not only personally supervises the daily operations, but also works one on one to assist the technicians in the shop.

These guys are awesome! Really quick and friendly. Gave suggestions to what is recommended– take it or leave it– no pressure. Engaged in conversations that made the visit pleasing and friendly. When we are in the area– we would come back again. For the locals– I highly recommend this place!!!

Saw sign that they could fix ck engine light. I have lost count how many times I have taken my car back bc light keeps coming on. Paid them over $ 379 for 2 O2 sensors. Light is on right now! Think they better stick to oil changes. Also told me I needed a starter and I don’t! also quoted me a price and then took back quote bc they did not have «the right tool» to do the job! My car is running fine and does NOT need a starter! Very disappointed. Am worn out from dealing with them…

This place is great! They are quick and efficient without all the high pressure sales. They simply inform you of their suggestions for the car, and move on. I will be returning to get our other vehicle’s oil changed and headlight repaired soon.

I’ve worked in Cool Springs for over 7 years now so I’ve been to most of the oil change places in the area to get my oil changed and this one by far is the best! The employees are kind and give you great information regarding your car without being overly pushy to get you to purchase additional services. I feel confident taking my vehicles to them.

I love how easy it is to get my oil changed here! The guys they have employed at the Super Express Lube are so nice and efficient! They didn’t pressure me to have another service done like some places do. They put their recommended services on the receipt and that was it! This is a great place especially if you are a girl! You don’t even get out of your car! Im actually writing this review as they are doing the oil change now. Its awesome!

Kris knows what he’s doing and I enjoyed getting what I needed without a bunch of extra sales. I don’t mind at all hearing what’s offered. Much better than the other place where some guy is forced to say the words on the screen.
I didn’t realize this was a locally owned store which automatically awards bonus points for me. The last time I went to a chain they quoted one price and charged another. Then they never responded to my customer service email. I just don’t get the feeling these guys would do this. I wish I had looked more closely at this place when it opened.

We had our brakes serviced here. They were attentive, helpful, sincere, and trustworthy. We voiced our concerns and they took the time to explain the problem and go over the available options. We did not feel rushed or pressured and, as a result, left feeling like we made a good decision. They were knowledgable and very patient with us. We felt like they had our interest in mind, and did not feel like they were trying to up sell us… Which is big!
Due to my past experiences with auto mechanics, I’m very skeptical of their recommendations and vague, rushed assessments of the cars problems and what they deem are «necessary» repairs, which are more often than not just up sells.
Even earlier that day I visited two other car service dealerships and mechanics and waited around for someone to acknowledge that I was in need of help. When I was finally acknowledged they casually and tersely told me they were too busy to work on my car. They didn’t offer to schedule an appointment for another day. Thanks but no thanks!
Our experience at Super Lube was very positive. They talk to you like people and treat you with respect. They took their time with us, yet we’re very efficient and speedy with their car service.
Based on this single first impression, I would recommend their services to anyone, and will definitely keep them in mind for all my future car repairs.

The office I work in moved from Green Hills to Cool Springs at the end of last year and before then I was able to run out and get an oil change on my lunch break from Pep Boys on Charlotte Pike or from the Valvoline on Hillsboro Pike (which, without fail, would try and sell me every single service every time I went in for an oil change). There is a Valvoline out in the Cool Springs area, but today I was just not interested in getting harassed, so after Unilocaling around, I found Super Express Lube, and thought I’d give it a try.
I went on my 1 o’clock lunch break and there was no line — just me! Phillip was SUPER friendly and made sure I was in the know about the services they offer and what would work best for my car (I drive a Civic with 240,000+ miles on it so it needs a little extra TLC) without being sales-​y and pushy. The service was quick, the prices were reasonable, and I loved the fact that the business was locally owned.
I will, without a doubt, be returning for my next oil change!

Super Express Lube lives up to it’s name — Super Express! Great service, the owner, JT, was very friendly and actually did the oil change himself. The price is the lowest in town and service just as you would get at a dealership. They recommended additional service on my car, but weren’t pushy on getting it done right then and there. I will be going back (for future oil changes and my recommended service)!

Twice I have visited Super Express Lube, and twice I have been pleased with the service. I discovered this speedy oil change station through Groupon, The station is locally owned by TJ, and he’s doing a nice job — the staff is knowledgeable, empowered to make decisions, and friendly.
Today, even in the 100+ degree weather, at the end of the work day, the staff did not seem upset that I was a late arrival. I was even treated to $ 3 off the price of an air filter since mine was in such bad shape. Windshield cleaning service is included in the price of the oil change, and the technician who conducted my oil change today took great care to ensure a streak-​free cleaning. After 15 or so minutes, I was on my way with a competitively priced synthetic oil change, new air filter, and clean windshield. Both technicians that were working the bays at the time wished me a good evening and let me know that I could come back any time within 90 days for a free top off. Not too shabby at all.
The location is inconvenient for me, but I don’t mind going out of my way to have my oil changed here. It’s fast enough that unless there’s a line, I could have it done on my lunch break or immediately after work (like today). If you’re in the area and need an oil change, I highly recommend Super Express Lube.
