Haircuts, straight razor shaves, hot towel facials, MANIcures, Massage (by appointment), Waxing and spray tans (Evolv), a warm spray tan that feels like you are really in the sun while get a tan in 15 minutes.

You may enjoy a complimentary beer/​wine or coffee while you wait (which is NEVER long) and watch the big screen TV’s or listen to music.

History

Established in 2013.

Steve Stinger, Co-​Owner and Licensed Cosmetologist started cutting hair when he was about 14 years old. He studied Criminal Justice at West Virginia University, cut all his friend’s hair while in college and realized his passion was really about looking good and being well groomed. He made all his spending money there but came home on Spring Break and realized that he wanted a license to cut hair. He attended Empire Beauty School and graduated in 2007. He has been cutting hair ever since.

Business Owner

Steve has been cutting men’s hair since he was 14 years old. Always cutting his high school friends hair and then again when he attended West Virginia University.

He decided to quit college and go to Cosmetology School and open his own shop one day. His dream of opening a high quality, professional barber salon was finally realized March 15, 2013. MENtality Barbers, Grooming for Men is now open 7 days a week!

Marco and Steve are my go to barbers. They are highly skilled, cut and shape your hair to suit your style. The eclectic clientele provides barbers trained to cut a variety of hair. The other great features are the text reminder you receive a day before along with the a gracious and welcoming staff. The big barbers chairs, complimentary straight razor finish, big screen tvs, and free beer are a huge plus but the barbers ultimately make this the sole spot in the Main Line for that fresh cut!
If you need a great haircut this is the place they have the skills, personality, and great people.

Always have Steve Stinger the owner. He’s quiet but very personable and does a damn good cut. Very good at following through on client directions and when you know what you want and can describe it but don’t have the name for it, he has your back. His fingers are very meticulous in how he trims your hair. The neck shave is the best part of the entire event just sending chills down my spine. I’ve never been dissatisfied with a cut. Give him a try and you will be back.
His other staff through observation: I have high customer service levels of expectation and some of the things I see them do to accommodate customers has impressed me. I have seen some odd pains in the rear in the chair there and if I was the barber I would have just shaved their head and thrown them out. Not your typical barbershop. Between Steve and his staff it’s all about you and your needs so tip them well because they are taking damn good care of the clients.

I became addicted to barbers in AZ. My barber out there is A+. These guys are also really legit. Who gives you a beer when you wait? Uhh no one else.
So I came in for a cut and when I went home I didn’t really like it. So I called back the next morning and they got me in at noon. Took about 15 minutes to fix me up.
Shows me two things. They care about making sure their clients like the cut that they give. That means they are trying to develop a long term relationship with their clients.
They even keep notes on what type of cut you got last time. They also have a great reminder system. Love it.
These guys run a tight ship. It is the old school with a modern twist. They accept walk ins but since they are pretty popular set up an appointment. If you walk in they probably won’t get you in until 2 – 3 hours later. Give these guys a try.

Fine, how about free cold beer on tap, a shampoo after each cut, and a styling session that cannot be replicated the next day?!

Great place with talented artists on staff. I have had hair cut my most of staff. The atmosphere is also the best, sports on numerous HDTV and free beer. I normally go a little early just to hang out for a little longer.

Jody is as talented a barber I’ve ever had the pleasure to sit down in front of. Great cut & his hot towel, straight razor shave is unbelievable. After Jody completes your shave, you won’t go anywhere else.
WARNING: Once you try a Jody’s straight razor shave, you will be addicted. To top it off, he is an exceptional barber (hair cutting) as well.

Just got a great cut from Steve. The location is easy to get to and the shop was cleaner and nicer than other barber shops. The staff is friendly and offers you drinks while you wait, but I didn’t have to wait long since I was in the chair at my scheduled time. Great atmosphere and service for a reasonable price — I’ll be coming back.

I visited Mentality a few weeks ago when I was back in town for Thanksgiving. Found it on Unilocal and decided to visit based on reviews. I was very impressed. My first impression was how friendly everyone was. When I sat down the gentleman took the time to talk to me and figure out how I want my hair to look. He took his time with the scissors (not a shaver) and even did a second pass after I decided I wanted it a bit shorter. All in all, awesome experience. I am not someone who has ever had a favorite barber, but I think I found mine. Looking forward to going back.

The price is very reasonable. The only cheaper cut is at the town barber shop that you wish you liked but just can’t because they are always butchers. I don’t really know what the difference is between a good and bad haircut. I just know I’m really happy with the way my hair looks after going here.
I think this place is great. I rarely go to the same place twice because I just don’t really care. But I’ll go back to MENtality every time now.

This is really a great barber shop, I loved the haircut both my boys got. And my boyfriend has been going there since it opened. My only qualm is its the same price for children as it is for adults, and as much as I loved what they did for my boys, that’s just not feasible which stinks… Awesome haircuts though.
