I would give them 10 stars if I could. the food was AMAZING! the chicken wasn’t greasy or oily(it was in fact crispy and juicy lol) We were served fast, the food was hot, the sides were the perfect size everything really had a great flavor and we had enough sauces for everybody, the place and the bathrooms were very clean, and of course the staff was friendly and the prices are great! so yeah… we’ll be coming back!

If I could rate it a neg star I would. This place was horrible. DON’T EATHERE! DON’T WASTEYOURMONEYORYOURTIMETHEYDON’T CAREABOUTYOURBUSINESS! We walked in and I asked to sample the beans and rice because when you walk into this place you can’t see anything. We walked up to the registers to order. The girl at the registered(who was somewhat friendly) went and asked a guy. The guy brought me luke warm yellow rice with dehydrated vegetables. I looked at it and said is this the beans and rice? She said no. She went back over to the guy who was involved in a personal conversation with a guy at the end of the counter and ignored her. She mentioned I asked for a sample of the rice and beans. He didnt stop his conversation to look at her or acknowledge her or the request. Before she could return to me. I put the container on the counter and pushed it and said thanks and we said we wouldn’t be needing anything further and walked out. If you can’t take a moment to make a sale, I will take a moment to ensure everyone I know hears how you treat customers. I miss Sardis. Their Peruvian Chicken, rice and beans and so many other dishes are fantastic. Please rebuild, dont ket the fire put you out of business. This would never happen there. This type of service would never happen there. Please hurry back! I need you!

So, let’s get to it: very good chicken, but not as moist and well-seasoned(that is, flavoriscious) as Sardis. BUT: pretty doggone close. As an admitted meat freak, it’s hard to pass up a sausage. The Argentinian chorizo here was excellent — full of flavor, well seasoned(but with no real heat) and grilled mariposa(butterfly) style. Didn’t try it with chimmichurr I, but will do so next time and update this review. Sides were good, although the plantains were really, really banana-sweet(they made for a great dessert, especially because they were crispy on the edges and oh-so-happily gooey in the middle. Rice was, well, rice — but the beans were really tasty. Bottom line for me: I really, really like Sardi’s, but it’s not as convenient to get to. When I have time, I will still run there — but I’ll be happily heading to C&J for my routine pollo fix.
