PearlFection Dentistry’s goal is to keep your teeth healthy and your smile bright. As our name suggests we strive for perfection in every aspect of our practice and patient care. We specialize in family and general dentistry, oral surgery (Board Certified Oral Surgeon on staff), endodontics /root canals (Board Certified Endodontist on staff), Orthodontics with both fixed metal braces and Invisalign. We are open early and late to fit into our patient’s busy schedules and we are one of the few dentists that offers almost all services under one roof.
History
Established in 1977.
PearlFection Dentistry has been practiced family dentistry in Frederick since 1977.
Between 2012 and 2014 we experienced a growth phase, brought on by patient demand and patient to patient referrals. We had to hire 9 new employees, including 4 doctors, to satisfy our patient’s needs. We expanded our number of patient rooms and began offering endodontics, oral surgery, pediatric care and orthodontics.
In 2012 and 2013 we were the only dentist in Frederick to receive the Angies’ List Super Service Award 2 year in a row.
Our doctors have advanced training in sedation dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry Invisalign orthodontics and pediatric dentistry.
We emphasize continuing education for our doctors, our hygienists and our office staff. As our name describes, we strive for perfection in all aspects of our practice.
It might sound like we’re a big corporate practice, but we’re not. Small, doctor owned, we have a philosophy of patients’ needs first.

Dr. Eunjoo (EJ) Stringer finished her undergraduate work at Penn State University. where she was invited to join the National Health Pre-professional Honor Society, Alpha Epsilon Delta. She received her D.M.D. from the University Of Pittsburgh’s School Of Dental Medicine, where she graduated with an outstanding academic record. Dr Stringer has focused training in sedation dentistry, oral surgery, and AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry).
Dr. Joseph Mullen graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Biological Sciences. He obtained his D.D.S. degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, Baltimore School of Dental Surgery, graduating in 1977 at the top of his class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He also received an award from the American Society of Dentistry for Children for his outstanding work in preventive and restorative dentistry for children.
