I make art so I don’t want to spend much on framing but also want to make sure my work is seen in the best light. Custom framing is usually too expensive for something I plan to sell. However if something doesn’t fit into a standard size frame that I can buy at at place like Michaels, custom framing is often the only option. I had been using online framing services that send you the frame, mat and glass cut to the size you specify for you to assemble at home. However I went to Ken’s and the price was the same, even with them assembling it. Ken also has a wide selection of pre-built standard size frames, much more than Michaels in fact and the price is often lower. I saved some additional money by having them cut the matting and glass and assembling it at home. Ken’s is really the best option when looking for inexpensive framing. And if I ever want high-end custom work they can do that too. This place is a real find. It is a little off the beaten track, hidden away in an industrial park away from any other retail stores. But it is definitely pays off to shop there for all your framing needs.
